Very Pleasant Stay

Very pleasant stay for 5 nights. Automated check-in was easy and straightforward. The room was small for 3 people, but adequate and clean. Excellent proximity to suburban train. Easy access to groceries, ATM, and local restaurants. About 15 minute train ride to central Copenhagen. We had Copenhagen Cards so no added expense for the trains. Even my picky wife was satisfied! All the pillows had feathers, to which my wife is allergic, but we made do. Nice buffet breakfast for added cost. We would stay there again.

Horrible check in process.

The check in process was a nightmare. The automated machines did not work. We called several times to get some one on the phone to help us. We waited 1 1/2 hours to get our room key because there was no one there to help us. Finally someone on the phone took the payment info and the keys were dispensed. The rooms were ok when we got into them. The breakfast was very limited. Would not go there again..

Not sure why people didn't like this place. I actually enjoyed it. It's in a shopping mall, and the checkin is automated, but what's wrong with that? The process worked, and there's someone on the intercom if there are any problems. The mall is nice, albeit things are not open 24/7, but overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I was in the area.

Perfect location and nice rooms

The hotel is located at a great spot but hotel staff can do a better job at providing directions. The hotel elevator entrance is very difficult to find hotel is located inside a shopping mall with multiple entrances. The hotel is located on the 7th and 8th floor but the elevator won't go up to the 8th floor. So good luck dragging your bags to the 8th floor if your room is on the 8th floor.

The room was clean and very spacious. Don't expect much from morning breakfast.

Hotel is central in Roskilde and in a nice location. Been in it several times and rooms are variable in size. Those in older part can be on the small size. Hotel was nice and warm. -2c outside. Comfortable and clean. Good value l.

Stayed here for one night, last minute booking due to missing my flight as I thought it was close to the airport. The room rate was great but it cost about 425 Danish Krone to get to the airport about 15/20 mins away. Spoke to reception via intercom to gain access and used the self check in, which seems to be the only way. Check in is on Level 8 accessed by lift, but my room was on Level 9. I was disappointed that the only way to get to Level 9 was via the stairs and I had two heavy cases with work equipment, so I had to bring them to my room one at a time, leaving the other unattended. The same when I was leaving in the morning at 5 am, so not ideal. The hotel is attached to a shopping centre so I was able to get food. The room itself was ok. Basic and clean but the bathroom was looking a bit dated.

For the first time to go to find the hotel is difficult but when you learn its so easy.

I can book and i can go until my room without to see anyone. No need receptionist. System is working wonderfully.

Very basic hotel

This hotel is on the 8th floor of a tower block that has a small local shopping centre and a train station. It was quite difficult to find the entrance, and there is no reception, just a self check in machine. The room was clean but very basic and old, so it was just about ok for one night. I didn't have breakfast but there was an option on check in to have breakfast for 100DKK extra.

We had a wonderful time in Denmark and needed to get closer to the airport for our flight back. Calling this place a hotel is kind of a bad joke. We arrived at night to find out some drunk people sitting in front of the dark alley which also makes the entrance. No free parking to be seen. No one on the reception and terrible smell. Stay away.

The rooms are simple and very clean. Location is good. The entrance can be a bit tricky to find. Parking isn't great, you have to off load in one spot and then move the car to the parking spot. The reception is on the 6th floor and the rooms on the 8th and 9th floor.
You need a 4 digit code to get into the hotel after hours. We didn't receive this before arriving and had to call the support number to get it. It worked but should have been sent before we arrived.

However, too much of security, the door is closed needs a code and at night time there is too confusing way to reach it out for security purpose and sometimes they change the code so it needs time to call them to get the new code. The entrance to the hotel should be better signposted,... very confusing to find, especially as you have to go through the shopping mall that it is connected to. Spent a while looking for it. Otherwise quite a nice, spacious room on top floor with usual comforts. We did not have breakfast.

Easier than expected.

When I pulled up to this hotel or mall or whatever I thought it was I was pretty sure it was going to be a nightmare. I was pleasantly surprised on how easy the check-in was along with the room quality. I ate in the mall and walked around a bit and had a good night's rest.

The drive to the airport was easy and the overall stay was good.

Terrible No Good Very Bad Place

This hotel is impossible to find inside the mall it's located in, and once you find it, it's impossible to check in. There is no staff on site (except for 9 am - 12 pm, and check in isn't until 3 pm), and they do not answer their phone. We wandered for about an hour, trying to access the \"easy check in kiosk\" and had to ask about 5 people before someone staying at the hotel helped us. They had the same experience.

Once inside the hotel and the room, we opened the door to the bathroom and the stench of mold that escaped was overwhelming. We wanted to request a room change, so we called the number listed on our door - waited for about 20 minutes on two separate calls, before giving up. Every suggestion on the website and literature in the room said \"just contact the staff!\" and \"visit the reception desk!\" and gave the same number. No staff, and no one answering the phones.

Later that evening I needed to go to the airport to catch my flight home (which many a traveler is wont to do), and found that I was locked into the hotel on every floor and unable to exit to the train / mall. After trying to call the hotel AGAIN to no avail, a nice security guard found me. He had to escort me to the train through several locked doors and I cut my travel time very very very close, thanks to my trapped disaster.

This hotel was exasperating and ridiculous - stay far far away.

Hotel is fairly far from the town, some 30 minutes by S-train. It is in big building with a lot of stores in floor level. Room is simple, as are the others in this chain. We reserved triple room and the third bed was mattress on the floor. Cleanliness was ok but it could be better. The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful.

Hotel was ok, great location inside shopping mall. When I arrived shower soap dispenser was only a third full (had not been topped up). Shower towels quite small and thin. Housekeeping had not emptied our very full bathroom bin after our first night. Hotel was not so cheap either.

Not the easiest to find because address information did not work with sat nav and exterior of hotel could have improved signage. However once found we had a pleasant stay and it's close proximity to station made it simple to get to the centre of Copenhagen. Free parking was a big bonus!

Horrible hotel, worst hotel I've ever stayed at!

This was the worst \"hotel\" that I have ever stayed at. Not only was it dirty and unclean, but it had a disgusting expired cheese/like smell to the room. Everything in the room was cracked or broken or stained and the beds were so much smaller than what they seemed to be on the website. It was impossible to get into the note after 9pm because the hotel is in a crappy little mall complex that only had one entrance. I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to stay in this hole. Walked around the unsafe location for nearly 2 hours until we finally contacted Zleep five times to let us in. Worst place ever. \"Breakfast\" is so expensive and a ripoff for anyone who wants to go to it. Please, please live somewhere else and don't make the same mistake I and my several friends did. So far from city center, the train was not that close to the hotel. DONT GO HERE

DISGUSTING ROOM

This hotel is really odd... The room I got was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. The carpet had stains everywhere and the bed was dirty as well.

There wasn't anybody available to help me at the reception so I called their hotline to try to solve the situation. The person who I spoke to was completely rude to me and didn't really care that my husband and I were uncomfortable with our room.

I even asked to be transferred to another room and he said that it wasn't possible. Worst customer service ever!

We ended up calling Expedia to ask for a refund and found another hotel for that night....

We self-registered at a kiosk at the door. There was no reception desk. Experienced a little problem to find the room, we finally get to the room after climbing one level of stairs the elevator cannot reach. The room has a view of the see that is about 10 minutes of driving. Train station is in the same building.

Horrible experience. No front desk in the afternoons on weekend. Expedia also posts incorrect info regarding to the front desk hours. It took us 2 hours to get the key cards. Part of the hallway had no carpets, and carpets had stains in guest rooms, but the linens and bed sheets were clean. Not a great neighborhood. However, it locates in a shopping mall, which is very convenient for grocery and eating at a few restaurants in the building.

First time visit to Copenhagen and Hotel Ishoj

Our first time in Copenhagen; Family gathering. (Actually on our way to Bavaria.) Although hotel was a healthy train ride outside of Copenhagen, the location served us well. Thank heaven for 24 hour passes. Rooms were clean. No problem with night noise; we slept well. We did not find much in the way of nearby quiet dining, however there are a few local groceries where food and spirits can be purchased. Warning; shops close down early.

Name Grimes. I am currently staying at your hotel in ISHOJ
The desk said we could call for a taxi, however, they did not tell us there was no phone in the room. This is Sat so there is no one to help us, there are no batteries in the clicker that work, we have no TV! What if we did not have a cell phone? We paid 100K to get into our room early, only to find no TV. I called the number on the card and was on hold for 15mins, so I gave up!
I am not pleased with your service. I do not feel I can use this hotel on my future trips or recommend you to others.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and everything was clean. Zleep Hotels give new meaning to \"no frills\", though. For example, there is not even a phone in the room to be able to call the front desk and the front desk closes at 7pm.

Automation = frustration

Booked through Expedia - but the hotel did not a record, so i was stuck outside in the freezing cold, making a very expensive phone call to the emergency number as the reception was closed. There were a few other people having the same difficulties. The location is also poor, everything closes at 9pm.

Great for everybody need to sleep in Ishoj.

Good for money. Not in center. But I has to be there.
I have one problem: Internet. 1-st: It's not free.
They use Swisscom.
2-nd I was not able to extend my connection on the next 24 hours. The payment system doesn't work. So I was 48 hours without Internet access in Kobenhavn.
This is unusual for this hi-tech country.

Automated check in was not good!

The rooms quality and size were good. The cleaning made would clean the rooms every morning. But when we checked in through the automated machine, they added extra charges for breakfast in which we did not intend to have. We had to go to the receptions the next day to remove this extra charge. The person in reception told us that this machine is \"crazy\". But the machine doesn't do any crazy thing if you don't ask it to do!!!!!!!!

We were LOCKED OUT 2 nights in a ROW!!!

I am going to call to dispute my hotel stay, the shower didn't work properly AT ALL, flooding, spraying out everywhere with no pressure...the WORST place EVER!!!! the only thing good about this hotel, is I have to give kudos to the maids, they did clean the room nicely. 2 nights in a row our key card didn't work, and we were sleeping in the hall to wait for security over an hour..JETLAGGED, - I WAS really upset with this hotel, they shouldn't be on hotels.com no clocks in the room, very strange place this should be Zero Star hotel

À eviter! La réception n'est quasiment jamais ouverte et les codes fonctionnent une fois sur deux, les portes sont souvent verouillées même en pleine journée obligeant à traverser tout un centre commercial pour s'y rendre, le parking est quasi introuvable et en plus pas sécurisé! C'est très mal fréquenté avec même un centre psychiatrique à l'étage inférieur, des gens alcoolisés autour...!! Les serviettes sont tachées... les alentours et l'offre de restauration sont mauvais aussi. bref à éviter et à ne surtout pas faire avec des enfants !

Helt ok hotell hvis man bare vil ha et sted å sove. Ikke noe fancy. Ingen resepsjon. Savnet badematte eller flere håndkleder da vannet fra dusjen gikk alle veier til tross for elendig trykk i dusjen. Fikk også bare sengetøy på den ene siden av sengen. Det settes frem kaffe og te ved inngangen en gang daglig, men det er ikke tilgjengelig på morgenen (som er da man ønsker en kopp kaffe).

Dammtussar under sängen och fläckar på påslakanset som inte hade gått bort i tvätten. I övrigt var rummet fräscht men golvet i hotellkorridoren hade många fläckar.
Det var dåligt med plats vid frukosten, väldigt lite att välja på vid frukosten och man fick vänta för maten tog slut. Det positiva var trevlig personal och att rummet var stort. Hade önskat hylla i badrummet att ställa toalettartiklar på, nu fick vi lägga allt på golvet.

Das Zimmer steht in absolut keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Die Dusche war ohne Duschvorhang, wodurch das ganze Bad jedes Mal unter Wasser stand. Die Schlafcouch war extrem unbequem – eine Zumutung, darauf schlafen zu müssen. Zudem gab es weder eine Klimaanlage noch einen Kühlschrank. Insgesamt leider keine Empfehlung für dieses Hotel. Einziger Pluspunkt: kostenlose Parkplätze und gute Essensmöglichkeiten im Einkaufszentrum.

Es un hotel que está alejado del centro de Dinamarca (lo cual fue un error nuestro), no obstante estaba dentro de un centro comercial lo que nos permitió comprar comida y algunas cosas que nos faltaban. El lugar es limpio y cómodo, los empleados son sumamente amables y receptivos. Creo que nos faltó más información de cómo registraronos en caso de que hubiéramos llegado más tarde pues justo cuando arribamos la recepcionista ya se iba y no habíamos recibido ningún correo que nos explicara cómo era el autorregistro.

Et hotel som har haft sine bedste dage.

Et hotel ovenpå et næsten tomt indkøbscenter. Tilbage da det blev bygget var det sikkert et fint hotel og center, men i dag er det meget slidt og umoderne.
Bare for at nævne nogle af de ting som faldt i øjnene, internettet fungerede ikke, et vindue kunne hverken åbnes eller lukkes, der er ingen aircondition/udluftning på værelserne, tæppet er slidt, fjernsyn er af ældre årgang. Hotellet ligger på 8. og 9. etage, og vinduer kan åbnes helt, der sidder en gammeldags knage/lås på som \"beskyttelse\", denne knage er dog så slidt at den ikke fungerer mere, i stedet så spærrer den i dag for muligheden for at lukke vinduerne 100%, så man hele natten lang kan høre vinden og bilerne som kører forbi udenfor.
Morgenmaden er langt fra den standard man er vant til, der er et meget lille udvalg af mad/pålæg. Man skal være heldig for at få en bolle eller franskbrød, det er oftest kun rugbrød eller knækbrød som er tilbage.
For at komme op på sit værelse skal man forbi indkøbscenter, psykiatrisk afd., tandlæge, fitness center og kommunen. Ved ikke om det er fordi man har brug for de instanser efter et ophold på hotellet.
Indkøbscenteret er lige så slidt og ubrugeligt som hotellet, de fleste butikker er lukkede og selv den store Bilka som ligger der, er langt under den standard man er vant til. Tomme hylder, sidste uges tilbud, varer der ligger og flyder på gulvet osv. Der er et kæmpe skilt til KFC ude foran, men butikken er lukket, ja det varer nok ikke længe før dette hotel også er væk.

Det var lidt svært at finde de rigtige steder at bruge koderne.
Gulvtæppet i gangen havde mange store ulækre pletter.
Værelset var rigtig fint og rent. Vi var meget positivt overraskede over hvor stille der var. Dejligt.

En positiv oplevelse

Mit ophold blev forlænget fra én til to overnatninger, da jeg blev syg, - helt fantastiske og hjælpesomme receptionister, her er man ikke bare et \"nummer\" - virkelig hjælpsomme.

Ikke \"verdensklasse\" standard på hotelværelset, men OK til prisen og god beliggenhed

Var i kontakt med hotellet inden ankomst og allerede der var servicen god. Ved ankomst bliver vi mødt af to skønne receptionister. Værelse er fint til prisen og god morgenmad.
