Lovely lobby area and things to do for kids. Food was good and everything was very clean but the rooms were TINY! We felt very cramped as bunk beds came down from the wall and left no space to walk around. NOT a family room by any stretch of the imagination!

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. Staff is really helpful and nice. It seems a bit like an unsafe area. They have a lot of signs up saying to not leave bags unattended etc.

This hotel is conveniently located, clean and of a high standard.

The breakfast had a great selection of items, including lactose free products. Some areas of breakfast hygiene could be improved - we saw a child licking the Nutella spoon and putting it back into the Nutella bowl on the counter and we told a staff member who did not replace the spoon but just shrugged her shoulders.

The hotel has a small gym and a rather cold swimming pool. It had good amenities including plenty of towels. There is also a children’s play area outside and small playroom inside which are great for families.

The lack of air conditioning lets this property down and therefore we could not give it 5 stars.

The staff were amazing and very professional. Restaurant and food was well beyond our expectations. The hotel was family and child friendly. The hotel staff always did their best to make our stay comfortable.
Our only concern was with the cleaning staff who made us feel discriminated against due to our colour and culture.They chose not to change our beddings (ei pillow cases and covers )for the eight nights we stayed. They cleaned the rooms and left the Children’s bed undone, and bins not emptied even upon request.
The hotel receptionists both night/day and the kitchen/ resturant / bar staff were the best anyone would want and we will like to say a Big Thank You to THEM.
We will surely stay again when next we visit Copenhagen.

The Hotel was nice in reception, breakfast is good. The corridors are very dated and tired. The rooms are small basic and dated l, but are clean and comfortable. The hotel was expensive and didn’t live up to the cost and also there isn’t much near by in terms of restaurants other than McDonalds but there are 2 supermarkets nearby and there is a restaurant on site but we didn’t try it.

The customer service was A1 . Special shout out to Marcus who was really helpful. All the staff made us feel really welcome and even decorated the room with balloons and banners for my son's birthday - nothing was too much trouble The selection available for breakfast was vast. We only managed to eat dinner in the restaurant on our first night but what we had was excellent, good quality ingredients were used. The rooms were clean. Convenient location to catch the public transport. Highly recommend Fantastic!

We checked in to the Scandic because it was across the street from the hospital where our daughter was to have her baby. The room was excellent will comfy beds. The food was good and the service was great. They even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate the baby's birth!

My experience was very good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The included breakfast was delicious with a wide array of options. I ate dinner at the restaurant one night, and had an excellent meal. I slept in a room with two twin beds, and I did find them to be more narrow than what I expected, which is why I did 4 vs 5 stars.

The only thing good about the hotel was breakfast. The rooms are really dated and for a family of 4, the room is super tight. The bunk beds are so snug and shelf pops out. My son hit his head thrice!

Greay breakfast amd dinner, expemsive drinks...and starmgely difficuly to access the internet, i had to reload the page several times , gave up reloaded again a few times, seemingly randomly the login page came up and after that it worked fine. This process i had to repeat a few times through my 5 day stay at scandic hvidovre

The hotel is in the middle of a highway so there are not a lot of shops or restaurants around. The also close their restaurants on the weekends so if you want to eat something the closest thing is the MacDonald's across the street. Buses to the city center are available but takes about 30 minutes to get there. Hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were quite modern and comfortable. For some reason the ventilation in our room was not the best and every hour or so there was a smell of sewer. Unfortunately did not get to use the pool but the sauna was quite nice. At night time it's not too busy so I had it all to myself. The breakfast buffet was amazing and hands down one of the best buffets I have had. Good stay if you don't mind being away from the city center.

Although the public areas looked nice, the room was very cramped and poorly designed. Housekeeping was non-existent, even when we did the mandatory request for housekeeping the night before (no request, no housekeeping, not even to empty the trash). The desk clerk had to come up to empty our trash and bring clean towels. When we arrived, the sink soap dispenser was empty, and the same poor clerk had to bring up a full container, so clearly the housekeeping between guests was minimal and carelessly done. The size of the room was like a cruise ship's, but not as well designed - no ledges for suitcases, 2 chairs in a 4-bed room, and space wasted with a 3'X3' map and mirror instead of some useful shelves are some examples - I have more. A full size ironing board and iron were provided, but there wouldn't have been enough floor space to set them up. Ditch the ironing board and provide some luggage racks! And lose the smugness about being so environmentally friendly - in actuality, just seems like an excuse to provide lousy housekeeping. Oh, and vacuum under the beds to get rid of the dust bunnies. Would not recommend to anyone, especially as it is priced as though it were a first-class hotel.

Hotel was adequate, very clean, staff were very attentive and helpful, we had one evening meal which was good, room was small and cramped for 3 people. Bed was comfortable. The expensive bar was closed all day Saturday and Sunday during our visit so winding down had to be done in the city which is 20 mins away by bus.

Staying at the Scandic Hvidovre hotel was an absolute disaster. We had booked the family suite, which to our horror was extremely unsafe because the ceiling jutted out so that it was only a few inches above the top of the bunk bed. Naturally, the bed situation and the fact that the room itself was tiny, led us to request a room change. When we mentioned our concerns to the front desk, the lady was very friendly and understanding of the situation. The other front desk member Nikolaj was very rude and standoffish – not at all the treatment one would expect at a widely-advertised hotel.

We told the manager about all the issues, due to limit cannot write all, which was an even bigger disaster. She argued with us and threatened us to not be rude to her staff even though they were the rude ones to begin with! Such a shockingly terrible experience.

While the hotel breakfast was decent and we appreciated the help of some of the staff members, we were very unhappy with the stay. When we were taking taxis throughout Copenhagen, all of the drivers told us that this hotel does not have good reputation and that the members were probably racist towards us.

Additionally, it is not well connected to public transit to the city and is in a remote area of the suburbs. The hotel is near a hospital, so you are likely to wake up from the sound of ambulances. The hospitality is awful and will disrupt your vacation. No matter what the context, do not plan to stay at this hotel when with family.

We arrived on a Sunday evening around six. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Having the on-site restaurant had been a main reason to book this hotel, as we were traveling with small kids. They allowed us to eat take out food in the yard. The yard has a nice playground and an old five hole mini golf course.

Dejligt pool område men ubrugeligt da vandet var for koldt vores mindste var i ca 2 minutter og den store ca 15 minutter
For dårligt at reklamere med indendørs pool og så ikke sørge for at den kan bruges.

Morgen maden var fin men restauranten og aften er under al kritik og måtte bagefter skændes om regninger da den unge pige åbenbart ikke kender ordet diference
Prisen burde være 760kr regningen lød på 840kr efter ca 20 minutter og deres forgæves opkald til en leder lagdd jeg 800kr og kig så vi kommer ikke igen og skal nok fortælle bredt om historien og den dårlige service

Værelset var vendt mod øst (ved hovedvejen) og man kunne høre bilen natten lang.
Det trak fra vinduerne.
Tre pærer i lamperne var gået på værelset.
Køjesengen var dårlig- selv til børn. De slog sig konstant på hjørnet/boksen i øverste køje.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Der Bus ins Stadtzentrum fährt in der Nähe. Parkplatz kostenlos. Bad schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Fugen in unserem Bad waren leider schimmlig. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.

Service i receptionen hørte en anden tid til.

Ønskede at tjekke tidligt ind, hvilket kostede 200 kr. (kl. var 14 og check-in var fra kl. 16)

Værelset var klar, men fair nok, det ønskede vi ikke at betale for. Så spurgte receptionisten, hvornår vi ville komme igen.

Vi skulle til bryllup og vidste ikke, hvornår festen sluttede, så det kunne vi ikke svare på. Men det skulle vi, fordi de skulle lave en ‘natkørsel’ i deres system, og hvis vi kom sent risikerede vi, at vi ikke kunne få værelset fordi, det ville være ‘no show’.

Prøvede at forklare, at vi jo havde forudbetalt, så ‘no show’ gav ikke rigtigt mening. Foreslog, at han blot kunne give os nøglen nu, og at vi ikke ville gå på værelset, men det kunne der ikke være tale om.

Håbløs service. Det bør være muligt at tænke selv, og når man annoncerer med 24-timers reception, skal man ikke diskutere med gæsterne om, hvad tid de har tænkt sig at ankomme.

Vi kommer ikke igen.

Hotel lies at quite a noisy through road.
Staff was very friendly & polite.
However, three major negative aspects
A) I found a former guest‘s documents on a shelf => inadequate cleaning
B) Time for ordering (sic!) dinner exceeded 20 min due to a lack of staff
C) the pool was ice-cold
