We had a great stay at STAY Bryggen! It’s about a 25 min walk over to the city, which we found totally manageable. There’s a nice pizza spot nearby called Corsa, breakfast at NORS and grocery at either Netto or Føtex all were amazing! The gym is fully equipped with machines, free weights, treadmills, and squat racks. Sauna too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean and spacious and well equipped. No microwave. French press for coffee so you’ll have to go get coffee grounds but otherwise everything was absolutely amazing.

The property consists of 3 different buildings, 2 of them being 4 stories so the high rise building with views you see on advertising isn’t necessarily what you will get. We had 3 rooms booked, 2 were upgraded but on lower floors, the 3rd on the 4th floor. Location is slightly out of the city but easy enough to get the boat bus to central Copenhagen.
As mentioned in other reviews there is no air conditioning so in summer the apartments are very warm. Fans are provided and opening windows gives good air flow but the 2 apartments on the ground and 2nd floor did not feel comfortable leaving windows open at night for security reasons. Our apartment was higher up but the bedroom sits right on a fairly busy road so was very noisy with the windows open.
That being said apartments were well appointed and we were happy with the location given the high accommodation prices in the city. Grocery store, bakery and a couple of restaurant options just around the corner. A great option for cooler months.

I liked the space, having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There were tons of bath towels but only one kitchen towel, no cleaning clothes. Beds were okay.. one bed dipped to the middle. The area is a good distance from Copenhagen, there is a bus stop one block away and the metro station a twenty minute walk away. 2 grocery stores within walking distance. Closest restaurants are in the mall.

There is no air conditioning. The unit we got was on the top floor and heats up like an oven during the day. The windows have safety devices on them and open only a slit. It was very uncomfortable until about 3am when it starts cooling down. Max temp outside during the day was 24C but the unit was at 29C at 10pm. They provide small fans but that does help much. Could not get a good nights sleep after spending a lot of money on what I thought was a high end luxury unit. Disappointed.

Property and staff excellent. We were able to store our luggage until the room was ready. The only downside was the noise. There was some kind of party or event near the water which vibrated through to the hotel. It was all night/morning. Apart from that one night, we had the best time.

The property itself is fine as it had all the amenities and supplies needed. However, the biggest issue is their parking lot arrangement with a 3rd party. Be warned that the staff at the hotel do not disclose all of the instruction related to parking that is offered. All signs posted in hotel elevator and in the designated parking area fail to provide the key detail that you must pay for parking once you park and not when you leave. It's not noted in English, even on the pay machine. Pretty much all of the cars in the designated spots received parking tickets, which leads me to believe that this is in favour of the parking lot to ensure that tourists pay the fines. And even if you do pay the parking in advance at the machine, it doesn't properly track your 24 hours time limit. The hotel should be providing more specific instructions for guests, particularly when they ask about the parking, that is more than what the code is to get into the gated lot.

Traveling between Christmas and New Years with three teenage sons, we chose STAY for the space and kitchen and it exceeded our expectations. The flat was clean and well appointed, the beds were comfortable and the showers were perfect. There were two grocery stores very close as well as a lovely bakery and pizza take away. We loved Copenhagen and would absolutely stay here again.

Great space for a group.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Only hiccup was that it was quite warm and we couldn’t figure out the air conditioning. Beds were comfortable, place was clean, good assortment of kitchen ware and enough for the 6 of us. Wifi worked great as did the TV.

Advance rules are a bit heavy handed so a bit of a downer before you arrive. Kitchen could be better equipped but great if you’re mainly eating out.

We stayed in our apartment for 3 nights. It was great. We walked 5min to the harbour to catch the harbour bus to the city centre ( lovely 15 to 20 min boat ride that you could take as far as the Little Mermaid if you wanted - or jump off at Nyhaven or other tourist spots). Or we caught the normal bus - just one street over. They also had bikes we could use. Supermarket and eateries two blocks away. No need for a car - live like a Copenhagenite in this lovely city.

One of, if not the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The apartments are incredible and cater for everything. They are huge and so spacious. If ever I’m back in Copenhagen I’m not staying anywhere else. Genuinely cannot fault it.

Summer in this area means late sunsets and early sunrises, this home has limited curtains so you are getting sun on your face at 3 am, kitchen was limited and you are isolated from night life or bars if you like that near you may not lie this. Exceeded expectations. Was perfect for a friends trip to be able to have a common space to hang out with separate bedrooms, and the convenience of a hotel with a check in desk and someone to ask questions about the property. The location was perfect, nestled within a cute neighborhood to live like a local. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes within a few blocks that were easy and really good. There's 2 groceries stores close as well for food and forgotten toiletries. It was easy to walk around Copenhagen, but also the location is right by a water taxi to save the feet a bit. Only downside was no air conditioning, but that is very common in the area. Fans were provided and having the windows open got a good breeze going.

This was perfect for us.

A bit far from the center of the city but the quiet and the pleasant views made it worth the couple taxi rides.
A very well stocked grocery 1 block away. We would lunch out and cook dinner in.
The staff is not to be equaled—- really wonderful and helpful.

We stayed at this property last week for 4 nights. We were impressed with the decor and cleanliness. There is a grocery store only a block away. The bus and ferry are only a few minute walk to get downtown. The main road is a bit busy in the morning but it is very quiet at night. We would definately stay here again.

Pros- huge, comfy beds, helpful staff in reception, easy parking and easy to get around if you have a vehicle, nice kitchen. Washer (couldn't figure out how to dry the clothes in the same unit), clothes rack and a fan. Nice products for soaps and dish soap.
Cons- Reception only available certain hours. We had three separate bookings but only one wine bottle gift that's supposed to be per stay. Only one unit clean per week and not even a dust pan. We didn't mind cleaning, but we needed more supplies. When we asked we were told no. The unit gets very dusty and in need of a mop after a few days. We had to buy things like proper scrubbies for the kitchen and paper towel. We had to go ask to swap towels and sheets. Temperature isn't even with the heated floors; we had a hard time getting temp comfortable. Kitchen that was 'fully stocked\" has no microwave, no coffee machine so only instant coffee.

Two sides of a coin

This was a family Christmas break, which started on Christmas Eve and consisted of two bookings. One for four days and one for three days. The first four days were a nightmare and the second three days were a pleasure. It would have been nice to have the same experience on both occasions.
We arrived when there was no one at reception and should have been given an apartment fit for purpose. Instead we suffered in an apartment that management knew had problems. Our. Christmas was not what we expected due to the apartment not being ready for letting. There was a storm when we arrived and one bedroom had a problem with the window not closing properly,Which meant it could not be used .As a result my son had to sleep on the sofa .The dishwasher did not work and it transpired that this was reported to management before we arrived.There were numerous other issues and lack of necessary utensils which made our stay very difficult.After it was established that the dishwasher could not be fixed and the window could not be repaired properly we were moved on my insistence!! The next apartment was on the 4th floor and was 5 Star compared to the first apartment which was on the first floor. The bedrooms had sham pillows and all the untensil’s were there , despite being told that we would have to purchase what was missing in the first apartment??
I asked for the manager and was told she was on vacation. I sent her an email but didn’t receive a response?

So lovely we are going to stay for two weeks. Great location though a little far from a metro station if you don't have a vehicle. There are local busses that pass right by and also a walking bridge that crosses the river and takes you to a beautiful mall. Tried two restaurants and a bakery nearby and all were delicious. Four of us using the wifi with no issues. Hardly hear any of the other units. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in a three bed apartment for three days. the apartments was well equipped to a high specification with fantastic views over brygge south. there is a small supermarket nearby and you can take a short walk to the water bus which will take you into Copenhagen. the hotel has allocated underground parking nearby in a communal garage which we used. the rate was 150dkk per day. our apartment had an ensuite and main bathroom.

A good choice

Getting an upgrade at the hotel was a wonderful surprise, of course. Copenhagen is such an efficient city for public transport, so being a couple of kilometres from the centre was not a problem. The area around the hotel had a Netta and an Irma supermarket nearby. The STAY staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic property to stay at. Check in was easy at the reception building and then just a 1 minute walk to our apartment. Apartment was extremely large and came with two bathrooms, washing machine and free WiFi. The building was very secure and was quiet. Things like soap, dish washer tablets and towels were provided.. was nice to get around 6 toilet rolls as normally we have to try and buy them at the supermarket. The apartment is away from the city centre but the number 68 bus goes from just outside every 20 minutes or so and the 77 bus also goes to the metro and you can transfer there to the airport. We felt the price paid was really good value and we really enjoyed our stay. If I was to give feedback on improving the stay it would be to provide a small amount of laundry cleaner for the washing machine as we had to buy some and then bin the rest..

The apartment is in a new development area of Copenhagen but very convenient for us to get to the downtown area biking or in a bus.
This new area was perfect for our summer stay since it is a block away from a great beach and the channel and in front of a beautiful park. Supermarkets are just a block away and great restaurants too.
Everything in the apartment is new and very clean.
We go to Copenhagen at least twice a year and this will be our go to place from now on.

Nice apts // narrow duvets // staff needs help

The apartments are great but the check-in and check-out experience leave much to be desired. First of all, we found it difficult to locate the reception. Signage is poor and the staff is not very service minded. As a Danish American, I'm used to different service levels in Denmark than what you experience in the U.S. but this was still markedly transactional and not very hospital. Also, I gave my phone number upon check-in, so they would be able to reach me during my stay. We realized this is because the apartment didn't have a phone. On the day where we checked out, I woke up early to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, when I came back – at 11:05 – I encountered the girl from reception in the hallway who reminded me that checkout was at 11 AM sharp. When I got to the apartment, my wife told me that the girl had locked herself into the apartment and walked into the bedroom only to tell my wife that she would need us out in 30 minutes. Okay, I get that we overstayed and that we should have been checked out by 11 AM but ... why not call first, or send me a text. Anyway, it wasn't exactly the best way to end our stay. Besides that, the apartments are new and well-designed, though the duvets are quite narrow and thin. The bedding didn't feel appropriate for a cold December in Copenhagen.

Great Place!

The area is new so there was a lot of construction outside the hotel, which at times could be loud during the day. The apartment was very modern and clean. The area had a few good restaurants. The gym was located about 5 minutes away walking distance from the hotel in the sister hotel, which I don’t mind since it was a nice walk. The gym was big, fitted with lots of new equipment and really nice. You can walk into the city if you’re an avoid walker, local transportation was otherwise a very convenient way to get around. I enjoyed my stay very much and could stay at this apartment again.

The apartments are great and very nice, clean and spacious. We had two units, a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom, both had plenty of space in bedrooms, common areas and kitchen. There is a market close by and a few coffee shops and restaurants. The only negative is that the location is a bit outside of central Copenhagen but it was easy to get the bus or taxis, although taxis are pricey.

Wonderful apartment; modern, clean and well appointed. Within very easy reach of the bus (and water bus) service for Copenhagen and close to a shopping centre as well as local supermarkets. There is a huge amount of large construction nearby but this will be temporary and didn’t disturb our stay at all. All Stay staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Spacious, airy, attractive and well appointed apartments overlooking Amager Faelled. Spotlessly clean, great staff and a very good location. An excellent restaurant (Cafe Noah) is nearby. It's very handy for the parkrun. The 250S bus is fast and frequent into the city centre from just across the road. The Metro station is less than a mile away with very frequent trains to the city and the airport.

Ideaal verblijf op Kopenhagen te bezichtigen. Bus om 2 minuten wandelafstand, waterbus op 12 minuten wandelafstand. Rustig buiten het echte centrum gelegen, zeer groot appartement. Parkeergelegenheid vlakbij. Naast een natuurgebied (ideaal om te gaan lopen), klein strandje op wandelafstand (3 minuten). Verschillende supermarkten en restaurants vlakbij.

Altid dejligt at være på Stay, synes dog at det er ved at være lidt slidt: den øverste kurv i opvaskemaskinen var ikke til at trække ind og ud, og gardinerne i stuen var ikke alle til at trække for. Men det er jo småting, vi kommer gerne igen en anden gang.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Geräumig, sauber, wunderbare Aussicht. Gut gelegen aber nicht zentral. Für uns perfekt.

Godt hotel til længere ophold

Rummelige og lyse lejligheder. Der er basic køkkenudstyr så man selv kan lave mad. Komfortabel seng. TV med stort udvalg af kanaler.
Afløbet i vasken på badeværelset fungerede meget dårligt, ellers var det bare almindelig slidtage.
Kan anbefale stedet, især hvis man skal være der i længere tid.

Her vil vi bo ❤️

Helt vildt fantastisk, når man rejser med familien og har store teenagebørn. Alle kunne få eget værelse, og lejligheden var dejlig rumlig og hjemlig. Gode faciliteter i tv-stuen/køkken-alrummet, og alle kunne sagtens sidde og spise omkring det store spisebord. Så lækkert!
