The property emphasizes over cute design over comfort. You had to climb and crawl into the bed which was in a tight niche. There is an overabundance of unnecessary built-in cupboards and niches that take up the space where you could had easier access to the bed. To make matters worse, a big step separates bed level to bathroom, a hazard if one is groggy at night. Oh, check-in is on top floor, requiring several unnecessary trips up and down elevator. This is definitely a place for hipsters rather than mature adults

These rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Love the pantry area where you can stock up on supplies and drop off washing and waste. Shower cubical is spacious, kitchen small but functional, and sleeping area really comfortable. Really quirky and fun, and all the staff very friendly :) Metro station 2 minutes away, and fast, frequent connections to wherever you need to go.

This was such a great place to stay. We really liked having a fridge and microwave in our room, and it was nice that the bed didn't take up the whole space. Even though we were out exploring for most of our days, it was very nice to come back to this comfortable space. There were a transit stop a 3 minute walk from the hotel, and a grocery store right around the corner so it was very easy to keep a few things in the fridge. The staff were great and very helpful. We would stay here again!

We were really pleased with this accommodation, it’s not in the center of Copenhagen but it’s two minutes from the metro which is cheap, fast and reliable. Hotel to airport was less than an hour by metro, even leaving at 5:20 am.
There’s no check in desk, but there’s a person available on the 5th floor 24 hours a day, and check in was easy even at half midnight. The staff we spoke to were all friendly and helpful.
The room itself was great, we had a mini kitchen which was adequate to cook a small meal. There’s a hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave and enough cookware, cutlery, crockery etc. If you do need any extras there’s a pantry at the end of the hall and everything is there for you to take if you need it.
The bed was super comfy, sofa was OK and the WiFi was good, so you can easily stream to the TV if you want to, which was handy on a rainy evening.
We didn’t use the breakfast or bar area upstairs but it looked really lovely with a nice roof garden.
My only SMALL gripe would be the bed is the wrong way round so you have to step over the other person to get out. We slept the other way round (sideways) so this wasn’t an issue, but it meant lights/sockets were in the wrong place and very tall people wouldn’t be able to lay flat in the bed.

We LOVED Zoku and wish we could've stayed for a few more days. The apartment was super clean, and comfy. Fun loft bed for something different. Nice kitchen set up with all you need for making a few light meals. Think IKEA for the whole building. On the 5th floor where the reception is, there is a bar, snacks, sitting areas both indoors and out on the rooftop terrace. They also have hammocks to relax in. The atmosphere is very relaxing. They also have laundry facilities and locker storage for luggage and bikes. There were 2 grocery stores close by. Also, a cafe on the corner. Zoku also had breakfast available, and I believe a restaurant on the upper floor although we didn't use it. I am not sure about parking because we didn't have a car. Walking to the metro took 2 minutes at most. Next time we're in Copenhagen we'll definitely stay here again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at Zulu Copenhagen. It was a refreshing change from the type of hotels we have stayed in the past and the large loft room we had was amazing in layout and comfort. With its own kitchen area and dining table it felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. The loft bed was a cool feature. We had breakfast every day which was very substantial and set us up for the day. The staff were very polite, helpful and understanding. The fifth floor dining and social area is very bright and pleasant. The Metro station is two minutes away and it’s a short journey to the city centre which made it a convenient base for our visit to the city.

We encountered a hiccup at check-in when we were assigned an uncleaned and potentially occupied room. However, after that initial hiccup, our stay was very positive. Perfect place to stay when visiting copenhagen. The location is very convenient, only a few minutes walk to the metro station. The room is very clean and spacious. Checking in and out is very easy and they even have lockers to store your bags.

The hotel was in a good location, right next to the metro, with a supermarket in the same building. Very convenient (and was also a short metro-ride to the airport). The apartments have been designed in a careful way and they have almost everything you would need. They are also really fun. The area itself was a bit quiet with hardly any restaurants and bars but as it is so close to the metro it didn't matter too much.
The description of the hotel online made a big deal about having wine glasses, which we didn't get and had to ask for them (and then we got one with lipstick on it and one that was chipped), and the 'store room' on our floor was pretty much empty (no glasses, no extra quilts, etc.) so a bit more attention could be paid to things like that, but these are really minor.
We would definitely stay here again. It was a great apartment and only a few mins by metro to the centre.

Spectacular hotel
Everything about this hotel is amazing. It is great vaule, and you essentially get a stylish studio apartment instead of a hotel room. I felt very at home in the loft and almost didn't want to go outside. The kitchen was fully equiped, and there was even a dishwasher. There was also a common pantry where you can grab more pots and pans that you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lot of luggage to store, and they didn't mind that at all. We also had a horrible day when we had to move-out that caused us to be quite late in checking out. The staff didn't call to rush as out immediately at 11am. Instead they allowed us a few extra minutes, which I really appreciated. You're even able to shower and freshen up after you check out! And the location is great. Very close to the metro station and only 3 stations away to the city center. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Copenhagen!

I would definitely go back! Zoku Copenhagen offers a unique and refreshing hotel experience. The rooms are incredibly clean, modern, and minimalistic, yet they make perfect use of space. It feels like having an entire flat in one compact, thoughtfully designed area. The public spaces are wonderful—great for relaxing or working. The staff is lovely, always helpful and welcoming. Plus, the food and drinks are exceptional! Overall, an amazing stay, and I can’t wait to return.

It was a very nice stay. It is situated at the edge of the university. with a grocer on the bottom floor. The area is sparse for eateries, but a short walk to the metro where you are 2 stops to more than you can count. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Zoku. We used the grocer daily.

Stayed with my girlfriend in XL loft, which I thought was really good, the unique layout, and the bed was very comfy like sleeping on a cloud. Room had coffee machine, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment so can easily cater to yourselves and supermarket is within the same building. The terrace and check in on top floor was a great space and appeared to offer some great food options too. Location was perfect, right by metro and one change only required to get to central area, and easy to get to and from the airport! Highly recommend and I never bother to write reviews so this tells you it must have been worth it. I’m always sceptical of other reviews when I saw all the 10/10 but can genuinely see why. I liked you could change your art work if you wanted, had little quirky cards on the notice boards and trivia games in the shared space all little things that just make a difference.

Room is warm and can not lower temp really below 22… and it’s a bit warmer in the loft where the bed is. Think the space is great for 1 but less for 2.

On the downside, the bed on the upper deck was not so comfortable. Also, I would have expected more variety in breakfast (but the Avocado on toast is pretty good).

Discovered Zoku purely by chance and am so impressed. Great use of space with everything you could possibly require from a hotel room, and more. Definitely a fan and will now seek Zoku hotels for further European stays. Other hotel chains should look and learn as the Zoku customer focus and attention to detail was second to none.

I loved my stay with Zoku! I came back from traveling across Europe to end in Copenhagen and felt so relaxed and well cared for. I was cozy working from my loft and felt like I was working from my own living room. The upstairs outdoor area is lovely to hang out in as well and the food in the kitchen was delicious!
