This was an adequate location for my one night stay for a graduation even in Green Bay. All closer locations were booked with a major concert in the area. I was happy with everything overall, but the construction in the area was tough to manage to get to the highway. I know the hotel can't control that, but it did create some additional stress for me to get to and from Green Bay.
Elizabeth
We only stayed 1 night but were very happy with the hotel. Staff at check in were great! Room was spacious and clean. Super convenient to airport. Would definitely stay there again. No complaints!
Jane
Very surprised to return to our room to discover the beds had not been made and the bedroom area had not been cleaned at all. A conversation with Front Desk staff wasn’t helpful - they offered excuses but nothing resembling an apology at all. During a followup conversation with the assistant mgr we learned that beds are supposed to be refreshed daily (they were not) and staff only vacuum the room after guests have checked out (good luck w a multi day stay or sharing your room with children).
In response to a request for the room to be comped for 1 day the assistant mgr offered a $20 credit and an offer not to bill us for the day’s stay if we checked out. The conversation took place at around 10-10:30 pm so we decided to stay put.
Overall, a very unpleasant experience, especially considering we paid a nightly rate of $239.00. One bright spot - Appleton is a lovely city. Definitely visit just find a different hotel for your stay.

The staff were friendly, however the hotel didn’t appear very clean. Staining on carpets in hallways and the rooms, materials smeared on elevator walls, stained bedding.

We were in town for a family wedding and I reserved 3 rooms for us. My family showed up to check in and they were denied access because I was not physically present (I was coming later). Even though my wife is included in my profile they could not get in. My wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law had copies of the reservation but they would not honor them.
The desk personal (Wendy) was very rude and would not help. I talked to her on the phone and she said she would not help.
After I called Expedia customer service and spent 30 minutes on the phone they got access to 1 room - this delay caused them to be late for the wedding.
When we returned to the hotel after the wedding I went to check-in for the remaining rooms and Wendy refused to help me and told me to go to another desk worker.
The rooms I had booked that included breakfast for everyone - the next morning they announced that the kitchen would be closed.
Our experience was terrible and I did not get what I had expected or paid for.
I would like to get some compensation back for the missing breakfast and a refund of my points that I had used for these reservations.
As a Platinum their member I would expect better!

Customer services are so poor, the breakfast buffet, low in quality, they need to clean more often all the floors

Great staff, clean

Key for me staying here was the electric car charging. The fact that the staff and property were both excellent was a plus!
William
TV sucked
Erik
Our room was ok, the hallways were pretty dated
Vince
We were given the keys to the initial room we and when we entered, there was another family in the room. The mom was taking a shower and the kid was watching tv. It was really embarrassing and could have been much worse. Holiday Inn blamed it on training. I called the manager and the best they could do for us was give us $50 off the room. She said the family in the room were the victims, not us. I won’t be staying there again with that attitude. Also, we prepaid for breakfast online and the waitress was so confused. I’ll have to look but I might have been charged twice. We didn’t have a good experience at all.
Cindy
The room was very nice, my husband loved the soap in the shower. My only complaint was the wait at the front desk to check in.
Denise
The only thing I did find that should be explained better is that for the airport shuttle, is that you have to request 24 hour in an advance as the hotel has to hire out for this service. This is one of only hotels in the area that advertises a hotel shuttle to the airport but doesn’t mention this, reason I booked the night before and then when checked in couldn’t get a ride to airport and had to get a Lyft,
Kathleen
Room was clean; bathroom updated. It was a quick trip, so we didn't use any of the amenities, but were happy with the hotel!
Vicky
I wish their airport shuttle extended their hours but the stay was amazing! The staff were friendly and pleasant! Gabby was real nice and helpful! The rooms were really good but the breakfast was very good considering it was a Holiday Inn. The price was worth it to pay for a really good breakfast! Room was really nice and slept so comfortably!
Marcia
I was above the pool area and you could hear a vibration type of sound coming from below all night long. The hotel and staff are great, but do some about the noise. I wouldn’t want to be near the pool again
Roosevelt
The stay here was amazing! Staff was very courteous and the site was very clean.
Craig
Clean nice bed
Deborah
Nice place to stay, good location. Good bar. Room was comfortable.
Gary
We were taken care of very professionally and treated like they would like to be treated
Patricia
Was told when I called to book the shuttle to the airport that I could just schedule when I checked in. When I got there and asked to schedule the shuttle to the airport I was told I needed 24hr advance. Also I was not informed at time of booking the restaurant and bar are closed on Sunday.
Richard
Checkin was quick and staff was friendly. I got a shuttle ride to the airport early and the driver was prompt and friendly. I got to the hotel late so went right to bed before an early flight. No complaints as room was clean and bed comfortable.
Thomas
The room was very nice, and the staff was extremely friendly
Tammy
Room was nice, staff was great. BUT the airport shuttle has to be reserved xat least 24 hours in advance, so we didn't get to use it
Kathryn
The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Convenient.

The shampoo and conditioner were empty upon arrival. There was always a man (in street clothes) sitting in the lobby. We wanted to use that space to meet up with family a few times but he was always looking at us, making us feel very uncomfortable. The same man was there night and day, and the third day it was a different man. No matter which man, they were always staring at us and we didn’t feel comfortable sitting in the lobby with family.
Heather
The hallway smelled really bad like wet feet or something stale . The kitchen was closed so there was no breakfast , I understand that it was a holiday but you could have offered a doughnut or something. Staff was friendly , and room was clean .

Hot tub jets not working. Half the reason I picked this hotel was because of the hot tub. For the price I paid, I should have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, would have had a free breakfast at least.
Kathryn
The building was spotless, the staff was amazing and the mattress was firm - we will be back! We loved being able to charge our EV too.
Amanda
Carrie at the bar was absolutely amazing! The bar closes at 10 but it was packed, I asked if I needed my tab closed before 10 as we would get a couple drinks for the room and she told us that she would stay open if there were people drinking at the bar and everyone was behaving. This has never happen to us at a hotel bar! I was impressed. Cant wait until our next stay in December!
Robert
Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable room.
Larisa
Clean quiet nice staff
Rachael
Not worth the price. I prepaid for breakfast but they canceled breakfast due to unforeseen circumstances and would not refund me because I booked using this app. Not our fault they couldn’t make breakfast. Don’t go there. Rip off. Never again.
Theresa
The room was very clean and beds were comfortable.
Peter
Nice room with King size bed. Hallways were nice and clean. A very good overall experience!
jon
Friendly staff at arrival, room was clean and quiet. It was a quick layover so didn’t use any hotel amenities. Bed was comfortable did not use shower so can’t comment on that. Used shuttle to the airport and that service was excellent.

I was very impressed with Wendy as my check in person. She’s exceptional in the job that she does. The hotel also was very clean , updated
Nadeem
Hotel has a decent swimming pool and hot tub. My grand daughter swam in the pool for couple of hours. The room was very spacious. Never been to a hotel room bigger than this one. I have traveled to many countries and cities. Furniture and electric outlets needs update but they worked fine. Overall 4.5/5 star.

Sonya

Great Shuttle service to airport
Keith
Awesome Staff and very clean and comfortable
MOLLY
The rooms were not very clean, and of course it was overpriced because of the football game. What I was charged was not what I was supposed to be paying according to Travelocity. It was almost $100 more. They have a breakfast area full of food, but it's not included in your ridiculous room price. You have to pay for it. Not worth the money for sure.
Shellie
Very convenient to catch the shuttle to Green Bay for the Packers game
Asif
Clean hotel. Would recommend to others.

Wwas clean and updated. Nice pool and spa
Jennifer
This was a nice place to stay. The staff was very helpful with my elderly mother and helped to provide her with a wheelchair. Breakfast was good but we had to pay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
PAUL
When booking I was expecting an airport shuttle. Told there was none when we arrived. Not Holiday Inns fault probably Expedias.

What I thought was unique little tid bit about our stay started with a swarm of bees while trying to walk in the lobby.
Checked at almost 3 exactly and left for shopping and dinner. Everything was very chill in the lobby and it seemed like we picked a nice quiet place to stay! Fast forward 5 hours to when we arrive back to the hotel. The lobby is brain shattering loud, swarming with kids and parents alike with water covering the floor in the lobby and elevators from all the kids running in and out of the pool area.
All in all, it was not what I had in mind. Pool and spa area wasn’t an option for us because of all the screaming kids.
I understand that all the people were from out of town for some type of kids sporting event but it also is not my problem.
Just wanted a nice quiet place to stay and relax. $175 not well spent.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.

The hotel itself was nice. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was rude and talked down to not only us but also her colleague who was working at the front desk as well. Also, there was some crucial information regarding the airport shuttle that was not on their website. The shuttle service requires a 24 hour notice, so if you are just staying one night before going to the airport you are required to call the hotel before you even arrive to schedule a shuttle. Also, this hotel is not a park-and-fly, meaning you cannot leave your vehicle at the hotel and shuttle to the airport. This was not stated anywhere on their website and the lady at the front desk didn't even inform us of this until after we had already scheduled the shuttle and then asked her where we should park our vehicle for the week. She responded as if we were idiots and as though we should know that this was not an option, despite their website only stating that they offered a free airport shuttle, with NOTHING about not being able to park your vehicle there. Not sure what the point of an airport shuttle is if you can't even leave your vehicle at the hotel. I would give the hotel a better rating if it were just for the information conveniently left out of their website regarding the airport shuttle, but because of the way the lady at the front desk treated us it's simply not deserved.

Terrific Weekend Stay
Terrific experience! Check in with Chris was quick, smooth. She accommodated our special request which we appreciated. Well lit parking, easy access to shopping and restaurants. Room was very clean, AC worked great, awesome shower. Would definitely stay here again over a competitor (Cambria)

Disappointed
After reading reviews I thought this would be an excellent stay. I was truly disappointed and the only reason I scored it as high as I did was the front desk girl was very friendly. We checked inand upon arriving in our room the carpet was stained, scuff marks on the door and walls, the dresser was literally deteriorating, but the worst of all was we had no electricity. No lights, fridge, microwave, tv etc. upon investigating we saw the microwave and one lamp weren't even plugged in. The lamp also only had one prong on the outlet.. once we had everything (that we could) plugged in nothing worked still. We called the front desk and she went and switched a breaker. No help. At this point we needed to leave for an event but needed this resolved before I’d leave my stuff there. I went down to the desk and she called her manager this time. After being set behind about 30 minutes she decided to switch the breaker again and then stuff came on. I’m not sure what type of hotel has to switch breakers constantly but seems like there is a bigger issue. She even asked me if we were trying to use the hair dryer and something else at the same time.. that seems ridiculous for a hotel. we never had power from the moment we walked in so we did not cause it. For paying $250 for one night this was terrible and I would have expected them to have some type of compensation as we were late for the event we booked the room to be at. Never again. Also the pool floor was so slippery. Many kids fell.
