The rooms were fine—we enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our family of 5. There is plenty of space, and the kitchenette was nice (especially since their ice maker wasn’t working, but there were trays in the freezer).
Breakfast was basic—so so waffles, sausage, and eggs.
Basic exercise room (hand weights and 2 treadmills).
Small pool—we didn’t use because the baseball team was in it. No hot tub.
Nice outdoor cooking area.

Cleanliness was questionable.
The guy at the front desk was very friendly. He was the only staff member I saw in our 3 days of staying at the hotel.

Just meh. 2.5 stars

Facilities:
The entire “canteen” area was empty and no food options. The approximately 30 cans in the fridge available for purchase were clearly dropped as the tops were all popped out. When we arrived there was some aroma through the place. Not necessarily bad but it was some sort of fragrance that was at times a bit off-putting. The fire table in the main picture of the hotel is even cracked/damaged in the picture.

Pool:
Absolutely freezing. No towels available at the pool. Asked the front desk and my family of 4 got 2 towels (the staff member saw us and clearly saw there was 4 of us) “We will get you more” and never showed up.

Room:
Carpet was very dated. Was peeling up where it transitioned to shower room. Soap shelf and tub had very clear mold growth on the caulking. The pull out bed… now I understand they are not expected to be super comfortable… but this one was no good. The mattress was about 2 inches thick. So all the framework was buried in your back. Kitchenette was nice but the other cleanliness items had us not wanting to use it.

Thankfully we only had a one night stay but we would not recommend staying at this facility. It appears ownership had recently changed from Marriott. Hopefully things can turn around

This is a former Marriott property, and has really nice room design, even though some of it is a bit worn, dated, or tired. I was never willing to pay the rate when it was a Marriott, so this is a good compromise. Everything was good, nothing was actually terrible, and the price was good. Will stay again.

We appreciated being able to check in late to our room. There's ample & free parking.
The residence was quiet.

We stayed in a suite. We didn't appreciate the hair in the bathroom shower. The living room couch had multiple stains on the cushions & the desk chair cushion was also not clean. The small kitchen area had minimal house ware items, and was minus dish towels and soap for the dishwasher. The well used kitchen sponge we threw away. There's not regular housekeeping, unless one requests their room needs attention. The morning breakfast was a disappointment with not much to offer, so we went out for breakfast.

During our stay we saw only one staff person, who was pleasant and helpful with our questions and requests. We were wondering if she was the only one on staff.

Room had awesome floor plan, spacious, comfortable and felt like a one bdrm apartment. Kitchen well stocked with basic flatware and utensils. It seemed clean, but because the room and everything in was kinda dated it was hard to tell. Room just felt worn and tired, giving impression that it wasn't super duper clean, yet I found nothing disgusting in the room. Bed & pillows Excellent! Next time I'm in the area I'll probably check out some other hotels, I would go back here but won't be my first choice. Staff was nice, just overall worn and a little dated. Price was excellent so clearly they know where they stand in the market.

GREAT location, a large mall and lots of other restaurants etc. a short walk away. We loved the room; two bedrooms and two baths were so nice to have! The manager was extra accomodating. We stayed in one room Friday and moved to another Saturday (last minute planning on our part, nothing they did). I asked if they could arrange late check out/ early check in so we could just move our things rather than having to take them to the car, etc. Not only did they work that out, he moved us right across the hall! Very convenient, thank you. Good breakfast too! We will be back!

Bring your own mop, disinfecting, sanitation stuff back rooms, toilet bowl, cleaners bleach anything related to housekeeping because you are the housekeeper you need to bring your own trash down you need to ask for towel so just bring your whole house and all your cleaning supplies and become a housekeeper there as you stay there

So the staff are not on one accord wanna tell you you have to request housekeeping the second one will tell you they only do housekeeping every seven days they don’t knock on the door and ask you do you need anything? They say they put you on the list to get it, clean to get your housekeeping, I was there for 17 days and only God two housekeeping services that basically had the threat a bad review and that’s how I got that they don’t have brooms in the rules back, so I don’t know how you gonna only clean once every seven days and then when it’s time for you to check out, they want you out immediately so they can do housekeeping and cleaning if the room is nice yes but is it dirt and Phil all in the corners the walls and tallest not working and just not a clean environment to say at least and then being lied to saying you’re on the list and you ask the housekeeper as they not coming to do the housekeeping that you’re not on the list and to call them 510 times and just never get housekeeping 17 days and two days practically big for like a week for though those two days to get the housekeeping is ridiculous to me and how they kick you out and want you out so fast so housekeeper can get up in there and do their job but they’re not doing it as long as you’re there if an a policy and online it says housekeeping request, but that’s not true then get on the list and axel housekeeping they don’t come that’s not amenity that they believe and they just want to get you some sheets

Our family found this hotel very disappointing. What was advertised in the pictures & description did not match. Our room was very noticeably dirty. The couch was sunken in and broken on one side. The fireplace advertised does not work. They have a sign to pay for logs at front desk, when we inquired they stated they do not offer logs anymore due to fire hazards. The mattress was stained with what I assume is blood. The curtains had poke holes all over them, it looked like a cat climbed up them. The chairs with the table were extremely damaged and the pleather was chipping away. They need to be replaced immediately. We would not stay here again.

The staff was friendly & had nothing to do with our review.

Was booked at the location during a travel ban d/t a blizzard. Spoke with Travelocity who spoke with manager who refused to let us check in a day late ( I was still going to pay for the missed night) so we traveled in or we would have lost the whole reservation. I was planning to extend another night because the whole reason we were booking is because we were local and having our wood floor refinished and could not stay in our home. They also never plowed the parking lot, instead one of the employees drove back and forth in his pick up to pack down the snow, we left on Thursday the blizzard was Sunday into Monday and it was still not plowed. Overall the staff we spoke to where very nice but the hotel itself needs a lot of TLC, carpet stained and pulled up, holes in the ceiling (one of which leaked overnight our last night causing a huge puddle; we where on the 2nd of 4 floors). The breakfast was good but after being there for a few days the last morning the staff said they only did the hot items on weekends. Which was a lie as we had been there for Tuesday and Wednesday breakfast. Would not book this location again. Pool is very small only goes to 4 ft and there is no hot tub.

The room was actually much nicer than expected. A couple minor complaints and one BIG one.. We had to ask for toilette paper upon arrival. They ran out of breakfast our first morning as we arrived at 9:30 to eat, so we oped to head to an early lunch. Bonus was no coffee creamer. The fitness room was nice but is missing a couple matching weights of dumbbells. The biggest complaint was the second night.. whatever staff member that was pissed off at the world basically attacked the 2nd floor storage closet at least 3 different times from 2-4 am. We stayed in room 206 which shared the wall and headboard to the locked storage closet and they were in there beating on stuff. Like literally beating on something. Buckets stuck together or something? And heavy objects falling off the wall. We got zero sleep that night.. Anyways, we liked the place and yes we would stay there again but not in room 206. Hahahaha

Cultural differences: Clerk would not make eye contact with me. Only addressed my husband. I stepped away. Spouse completed check-in. Check-in just before midnight. Noted numerous damages: missing fireplace pane, carpet damaged in numerous areas, holes in ceiling, a kitchen table wobbly and unsuitable for use, a BR door (punched/kicked), etc. Took photos, slept, took more photos. During the business hours, had desk clerk physically walk through. Said he would let mgmt and maintenance know. Day after chk-out rcd an email bank alert; card charged $250. 11 days tried to reconcile directly, six calls, five emails later, asked our financial institution for claims adjustment. Verbal explanation: chg for damage to the fireplace and burn marks to the carpet. No fire by us. Will not be held responsible. No inv provided. Req inv. Rcvd 1 wk later. Inv only stated “Damage”. We had time stamped photography and the clerk who did a physical walk through and still we never once were contacted by the manager. 1 week later $150 returned as credit, but they still claimed we owed for the fire damaged carpet. With photograph justification MainStay Mgmt would not budge on final $100 cr. 12 days reasoning? We then filed a claim with WF. No one should have to deal with this type of misconduct. Needless to say, they have lost our future business. What would have happened had we not taken photos or involved the MainStay clerk or we didn’t have a financial institution that backs us up? Buyer beware.

Hotel was generally run down - holes in the ceilings, broken / ragged furniture, toilets that flush every hour on their own, broken tub drains, stained carpets, scuffed paint, etc. Basically, it used to be a Marriott, but apparently got sold, and now it is a Mainstay, and desperately needs cleaning and updating. Beyond that, we found someone else's food still in our room, and the buffet for breakfast is about the most basic and sad breakfast I have ever seen at a hotel. If you are looking for a super cheap place to lay your head at night, go for it - the location is pretty perfect next to the mall, and the indoor heated pool is small but a nice touch fkr the kids. I dont think youll write home about how wonderful the hotel is, but again, if you just need a place to sleep without spending a fortune, this would be it. You get about what you pay for.

This property is very dated and somewhat in disrepair. The room we stayed in had a door that was rubbing on the frame and hard to open and close. The light in the bathroom would go from light to dim on its own and the vent fan would not stay on. There were lots of cob webs between the window and screen. Additionally there was mold in the caulking around the tub and shower. The staff was indifferent about it and the general manager shrugged it off saying they are working on updating. I saw no evidence of any work being done. Some care and attention by the cleaning staff is much needed. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. I would not stay here again.
