I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was borderline rude and not welcoming at all, which set the tone from the beginning.
The C2 floor had a noticeable unpleasant smell. Our room had barely any lighting, making it feel dark and uncomfortable. On top of that, there was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling and around the bathtub.
Overall, the cleanliness and service did not meet basic expectations. I would never stay here again.

I arrived earlier than check and fine I paid $55 at 12:30 pm. Then to walk in the room none of the sockets worked, no remote control for the tv, no wash clothes in the bathroom or hand towels and, the shower was leaking out onto the towel paper. I complained they moved me to another room with a child sized tv and the shower did the same thing. In the morning we were woken up by the guest eating breakfast and talking loudly. I drove 13 hours and have to drive 13 hours back to be woken up both days ass early. I was not happy or satisfied by the size or the experience.

Worst hotel ever. Do not stay here! Starting from the title “Downtown” this is nowhere near Downtown Brooklyn. The property is gross from the minute you walk in- the couch in the lobby is stained and looks like it was picked off the street, breakfast room is more like a closet, and the rooms are awful- furniture is from the 80’s barely any light, and dirty. Do not stay here!

The parking was not easy and not guaranteed after it was fully paid. They advise that you leave your car in the parking space because \"things happen\". After ubering around Brooklyn the first night, we needed to take the car the second night. Our paid spot was taken and we needed to find street parking. The desk clerk was very helpful, but once a spot was vacated my husband had to drive around busy and/or closed roads to get the spot instead of insisting on a refund. The room was tiny, even for Brooklyn. The T.V. had two remotes, no directions. Furniture old and rickety. This was not a $400 a night experience.

AC wouldn’t stay on, maybe because room temp said 60 degrees no matter how hot or cold it was. Oddly it was freezing when we first arrived then later in the day and through the night it wasn’t functioning properly to allow for a cooled room. The shower curtain rod curves down making the shower curtain slide down to the middle, while showering. During breakfast we were constantly waiting for the staff to finish cooking their waffles or using the microwave. They only had 1 type of fruit (apple), breakfast meat (sausage) and 1 waffle maker. They have a small parking lot and still charge for parking and THEY will call the tow company if you don’t pay. I get it’s NY but having no parking because it is NY is more understandable than having a lot and charging for parking. Maybe I'm wrong about the parking but it’s just my opinion.

Room was clean, hotel staff were great. About a block up and a couple blocks over from the subway. My 15 year old daughter and I walked all around and never felt unsafe. It was quiet outside.

Very small rooms and bathroom w/ limited space and “every room is designed the same.” I requested a handicapped accessible room and they placed me in a hot a** basement next to the laundry, kitchen etc. Looked more like a dungeon I asked to be moved and was told there were no more handicapped accessible..the only difference in the room is that there is a bar in the bathtub which online they advertise as a walk in shower. I paid $965 for my stay. Because my flight landed early at JFK, I requested (and received approval for) early check-in. I took an Uber ($$$) directly to the hotel, but then waited in the lobby for over an hour because no room was ready. Upon my arrival and check in there were a swarm of gnats in the first room and when i requested to switch rooms the front desk agent had an attitude. Once they did switch my room, they switched me to a room that was not properly cleaned. The bed was infested with bed bugs. I have a witness to this experience. Everyone that knows me know that I’m one of the cleanest people they know and that i was completely healthy upon my arrival. I left the hotel with several bites on my head and left arm.
