Heater was loud and blew constantly, Hallways were very loud and busy at all hours so we didn't sleep well, tile floors in the winter were not ideal.

The first room the toilet wouldn’t flush and the coffee pot wouldn’t work. We ended up moving rooms after moving all of our items the heat was not the best in the room and once again another non working coffee pot. The location is great if you just need somewhere to stay if you’re in the Brooklyn Flatbush area.

Was not able to have good night sleep on my first 2 nights because of that!! Breakfast is good, lots of choices but not enough place in the room to eat and very bad that it’s in the basement. Well situated, 5-8 minutes walk to Prospect park subway station and a very nice indoor parking 5 minutes away on Montgomery street (not related to hotel, $). Very bad weed smell in the lobby and elevator, at any time and every day. Would not come back because of that and the noise!!

Many hard surfaces so it was a noisy hotel and we were also placed in a room right off the lobby were we heard everything and everyone coming and going which resulted in a very poor night’s sleep.

Our room seemed to be recently renovated however there was still pieces of tape stuck to the baseboards and splattered red paint in some areas as well, not to big of a deal to me though as it didn't interfere with our stay there. Cleanliness when we check in was ok sheets seemed like they were clean and everything was tidy but in the bathroom it seemed like they didn’t do a whole lot after the last people that stayed there was random hair in the shower the toilet paper roll was used and it looked like it was rolled around on the floor among other things.The guy at the front desk tends to have a bad attitude, he was a little rude when we checked in but check in was quick and easy, we kept the DND sign up our whole stay as me and the person that was sharing the room with me agreed that we didn’t want people in there while we were gone all day which obviously in return we didn’t get service which makes sense when we came back on day3of our stay I stoped at the desk and asked for a couple things before going on and he very rudely told me to go up to my room and call down for room service so that what we went up and did we called asked for towels and toilet paper very nicely and he mumbled a bunch of nonsense and then it sounded like he was checking the system to see who got service and saw the dnd sign in the notes and lectured us about if we wanted service we can’t have the sign on the door and hung up eventually he came up and was rude again until I said we dont want peoplehere

I don’t typically write reviews but I feel inclined. The hotel was a disappointment overall, the service felt impersonal. If you check in anytime before (3pm) even though there are rooms available you have to pay a fee. The rooms themselves have uncomfortable beds, cheap towels and linens. The rooms have thin walls making it challenging to sleep if you have loud neighbors. All in all,a poor experience start to finish.

They will get 2 stars due to not having a service to hold your luggage before check-in. IN NYC, really!?!? Also the walls are paper thin and you can clearly hear other guests. Otherwise, the rooms in this hotel are great, and the bathrooms are excellent, customer service is friendly. I’m writing this review on behalf of my dad so I don’t actually know exactly all the details of his stay but I will tell you that the hotel was extremely clean and it was generally serviceable. Breakfast can be crowded, but he ate there every day and was generally satisfied. There are no rugs at all in this hotel everything is just a tile floor, but as far as I know, the bed was decently comfortable, and he did not experience any issues with noise as he was on the back side of the building.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, not unusual for NY hotels. Location was convenient. It’s in an area in Brooklyn that is undergoing gentrification. It’s a quick walk to Nostrand Avenue for quick bites, restaurants, bakeries and fruit markets.

We informed the front that we smelled smoke the the elevator for today’s and some one was smoking at the end on the first floor. $2.00 for one small water, Are You Kidding Me??!!! I said never mind. The staff at this hotel was quite courteous. The hotel was clean on the outside and inside and beds were comfortable. The only downfall is finding a cockroach on the wall on the second night of our stay. We did inform the staff and they did want to assist by spraying Raid. Due to the smell, chemicals and being late we declined and asked to be moved to another room. Unfortunately, there was no room available to be transferred to that night and we were told in the morning. They will let us know if there was a room available. Morning came and there was no room available The following day so we asked them to please clean the room and ensure it was clean by the time we returned. Aside from that the room we were in was close to the stair door, which was annoying because every time someone will open the door it was slam Which would wake us from our sleep. For the price we paid we got a fair stay. Will I rebook probably not.

The expedia reviews are deceiving, the google reviews are much more accurate. The room wasn’t completely clean - there was someone else’s dirty crumpled up napkin in the corner when I arrived. It was LOUD. Not from outside, which you just have to be used to when you come to New York, but the insulation is awful and you can hear from the hallways every footstep and every conversation and every time someone uses the elevator. I was in the furthest room in the corner and I could still hear EVERYTHING. There’s also a safety issue that anybody can come into the hotel because you don’t need to use your key card to come in or to use the elevator. But good thing the staff is behind bullet proof glass.

There are signs in the hotel stating it is a non-smoking hotel. We booked it with the intent that we would be in a non-smoking hotel. Our

The entire hotel has tile floor. We heard the elevator, walking, talking, luggage rolling all hours of the night. The cleaning service folded our towels off the floor and put them back for reuse. Not sanitary. When toilet paper was gone we had to go find someone to get us more. To get water bottles staff had to be behind the desk(behind plexiglass/wall). When we returned from work at 10pm there was no staff to be found so we were unable to get water. The neighborhood is run down. Overall it was unpleasant and we’d never stay again.
