The bathroom was not clean upon arrival. The hand soap dispenser was empty and the shower soap did not work and came off the wall.
The coffee area on the desk had old cups and did not appear to be replaced recently.

We had the best experience at this hotel thanks to a wonderful staff, and specifically Adam at the front desk. Just a brief uber ride from the Brooklyn cruise port - we were snowed in following our cruise. Adam and team accommodated us and our luggage early to ensure it was a welcoming experience. The rooms were clean with modern bathrooms and a rainfall detachable shower head combo. We did laundry for $10 for the first load and $5 thereafter. The team helped us with restaurant recommendations and found us a cab during the ice storm to take us and our luggage to Penn station. Wonderful experience, would stay again.

Don’t know why people complained about breakfast….fresh eggs, sausage and potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt and cold cereal and bagels, croissants and bread for toast. Even a couple of changes ea h day. Hotel is also very convenient to the R train (5 min walk) which quickly gets you to major hubs for transfers.

Breakfast had a good variety and had a cozy and clean area to eat and lounge. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was nice and receptive. Parking was very safe with valet. We even got there early and were able to park our car with a small fee and get in to our room to store our belongings a couple hours before check-in which allowed us to go explore the city like we wanted.

Our stay at this hotel was a great experience. The room was clean and offered a fantastic view of the Statue of Liberty and the city. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative, and they even offered us early check-in. There was also the option to store our luggage free of charge on our last day, which was very convenient.

Nice location and the hotel wasn’t too bad. Definitely rough around the edges. I had some small bugs coming out the bathroom drain, fixtures and appliances are all a little janky and look thrown together. The door for the bathroom if you open it the wrong way can pinch your hand. So overall honestly I don’t know if I’d go again or recommend but the hotel did the job and the service was nice.

Unique hotel!
This room was quite small but probably expected for a Brooklyn hotel. Driving in at night, it seemed to be in a slightly sketchy neighbourhood but then we noticed it was right across the street from the police station! So felt safe. The hotel was full of high tech features, unlike many other hotels we’ve stayed at (ie: cardkey to turn on the power in the room and to work the elevator).

We stayed at the Precinct view hotel recently and on a positive note, the beds were very comfortable.
The Continental breakfast was typically very average at best. There were no breakfast options nearby the hotel that were open so that wasn’t great.
Rooms were too small for 2 double beds so the wall mounted AC is blowing on you all night
Washroom was ok but poor ventilation didn’t take the heat out after showering.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean. Whatever we needed staff were super accommodating. We felt safe staying here, there’s a police station next door (if you want to feel extra safe). The subway is a 5 minute walk there are also a lot of good places to eat nearby (cafes and delis). There’s also a grocery store up the street too if you want to buy a case of water bottles for the trip. Breakfast was decent got the job done, but we chose to eat outside. Will be back as this location is great.

The breakfast the offer is all DIY and very lackluster. The hotel rooms themselves are nice but the service is poor. No one looks like they're having a good day, and they're allowed to have bad days, but for the better half of a week we were there for not once did I see anyone even smile. They also charged a $50 check in fee that you \"get back\" when you leave but I have yet to see it hit my bank account.

We had a clean, comfortable room with a nice view of the neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk in. The hotel is a short walk to Industry City, which has lots of delicious food stalls and some stores. It’s also a few blocks from the 25th St subway station. There was free breakfast and free street parking a few blocks away, but parking on site was expensive. The staff was very courteous. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, is awesome. So much to do in the area! You can take a ride on a bike and enjoy the scenery. The museum is about a little over a mile away. and so many restaurants to choose from it’s overwhelming at times, but I have found my favorites. It was my birthday week. The staff was awesome. Attended to all of my needs. The place is very clean. Breakfast is good. It’s a great spot to chill out to get away for a couple of days. Thank you Liberty View. All the staff was great but one stuck out cause he was ALWAYS there!!!! SHAIK you totally rock!!!! They need to give you a raise!!!!💕💕💕💕

This is a great hotel for the price, included breakfast was decent and everyone could find something they wanted- pancakes,scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, toast, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice. Parking was $45 for a minivan/SUV, it was so convenient being on-site.
Got lunch after checking out at a pizza place - 2 blocks from the hotel - Gravesend, definitely try it.
Staff was nice, the rooms were a little tight but everything was clean. Single Coffee Machine in the room, little mini fridge.
Costco was walkable from the hotel too about 10 min.

the hotel is nice for an inexpensive hotel (clearly an attraction as a lot of European families were staying there). I would say it's an average hotel... nothing fancy, small rooms but clean and comfortable linens. the area is not very tourist friendly... not many restaurants, places to have coffee, places to hang out, etc. For me, it served it's purpose and it was fine. I just think people should have a good sense of what they are getting into when they book here .. again, not bad... but average.

Met Our Needs
For the most part, the Liberty View served our needs. Clean, friendly, good breakfast, close location to the event we attended. My two biggest problems were the room size and the parking. The room is very small. Pack lightly and if you have a family, good luck. the room is probably a 12 by 10 room. If someone is sitting at the desk, you will not be able to go through. The bathroom, while big, didn't feel private as the blinds to the one window would not close. You can pull a shade down that has small screening, but it still doesn't feel private. The door also did not close all the way.
Parking was another adventure all on its own. We paid close to $200 to park there. There's no lot, but a garage where someone will take your car and park it. The keys will be at the front desk. The garage has a couple of levels. So, when you need your car, you have to give them a 10-20 min warning in order for them to retrieve your car. If garage is full and there is a space open on the driveway (which is basically the sidewalk), that's where you will park. So you're paying to park on the street.
Overall, it was fine. I just wish the parking was a little better and that I knew about the rooms. We will return if need be.

Although the standard room was pretty small, it was very clean; beds were neat and tidy including the bathroom. The hotel has a nice, well-decorated breakfast and lounge area on the bottom floor including a small gym. Another plus is the police station right near by for safety. Would come again when I stop by in Brooklyn.

This was my second time staying at the hotel the first time was fabulous, this time not so great. They first put me in a room that looked like it wasn't finished. Since I stayed there before I knew they had better rooms so I asked to move which they did. Then the 2nd day the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke! Someone had clearly been smoking, when I brought it to the front desk attention they just blew me off. They sprayed febreeze in the hallway and that was it. Then later when we got on the elevator other guests noticed the smell as well. I really think it's easy to find out who is smoking in your \"non smoking\" hotel but they just seemed like they couldn't be bothered to enforce the rules. I definitely won't be staying here again if they don't see the need to enforce their policy. Such a shame because it could be a great hotel....
