The staff were lovely, it was clean and efficient room for me and my puppy! Great grassy field for the pup to run! The property felt safe and was well lit. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and spacious! The a/c unit was old and loud, otherwise the room was perfect! I retired from the area, this will be my go-to place from now on!

Overall we were very pleased with our stay for the price. Our room was larger than average, clean and everything worked well. The beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast was more than continental and included bacon and eggs. The automatic pancake maker worked well too. The staff was friendly and we will most likely be staying there on our return trip.

This is an older hotel that used to be a Red Roof Inn. They are making some renovations: in our room we had a new granite sink, new toilet, vinyl flooring (except around beds), fridge, and microwave. The tub was older & shows years of wear that makes it look unclean, maybe reglazing or a chemical cleaning will resolve the issue. The beds were comfortable. However, the sheets were worn/stained. Management promptly changed sheets when we asked. Towels were bright white and looked brand new. A/C worked well and shower water was hot and had good pressure. Breakfast was available. Overall, the hotel served our quick 2 night stay needs and budget.

The description on Expedia said there was a pool. There was no pool. We didn't see it. Breakfast was not good. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything from the rooms next to us and the rooms above. This made for a sleepless night. The light over the bed was out. The bathroom door did not close all the way. The sign inside the door still said Red Roof Inn, though it is not any more. The sign outside said to wear masks and practice social distancing, a remnant from the Covid pandemic years ago. Overall, this property is not kept up very well.

The hotel is very old. The ceiling in our room showed signs of previous water damage that was not repaired. The windows of the entry doors were filthy. The toilet was loose and moved when you sat down. The room was quiet until someone allowed their door to slam shut due to improper adjustment of the door closer. Housekeeping emptied the garbage but did not make the bed or leave fresh towels. When I checked out the gentleman at the desk didn't say a word, just gave me a thumbs up,lol

The room was not finished. Bathroom mirror was off the wall and when we went up the the front desk the told us to move it. The pull out mattress was falling apart holes it in with the stuffing come out stains on the mattress that look like blood the size of a baseball. No garbage can in the room. We put 3 dollars in the vending machine and realized it was empty asked if we could our money back and we were told no. Took 30 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Because the soap was on the mirror we had to go in the other room to have soap to wask our hands.

Our first impression of the hotel was good; clean lobby with vending machines. Once we settled into our room we checked out the pool. The pool & regular towels were the size of my adult torso. The entrance to the pool was through a broken glass door and a construction zone. The pool was below freezing. My daughter’s lips turned blue after a few minutes. That evening we received 3 “prank calls” from other residents in the hotel. We were told to unplug our phone by the front desk. Breakfast in the morning was subpar. Eggs were frozen patties & most food was gone by 8am. Employees were seen sitting and eating FULL plates of food while guests went without. While guests were checking in he would approach them with a full mouth of food. Another guest helped my husband and daughter use the pancake machine while the employee sat and ate. Other guests had their children running around half naked inside and outside, cussing. The occupants above us kept dropping stuff at all hours of the night. Police were called the night before we left. The next morning another guest was screaming in the main lobby about “whooping their kids a**” during breakfast and later loudly complaining in the hallway. The front desk clerk asked her and her children running around in diapers to go back to their room. Upon further inspection the blanket was stained with what looked like coffee. We checked out shortly after that. The only redeeming quality was the A/C unit. Will not be returning.

The staff were very friendly and efficient and check-in, and our room was ready right away. We paid for a suite via Hotels.com but were given a non-suite at check-in. We were tired from a long day of traveling, so I didn't want to make a big deal of it, and we just stuck with the regular room. This turned out to be such a big mistake, not becuase we really needed the extra space of the suite, but because the man in the room next to us was talking/yelling on speaker phone calls well past midnight, and the smell of smoke coming from his room was so strong that our eyes were stinging (the walls seemed paper thin). So, if we had requested the suie we paid for, we would have been away from that guy and would have had better sleep. The condition of the room was passable, definitely worth the low price that we paid for it. The hotel seems to be in the middle of a renovation, so I'm optimistic that it will be in better shape a year from now. For now, it seems like a solid option for emergency long-term stays or quick in and out overnights. Overall, my only real complaint is our obnxious neighbor, which isn't the hotel's fault.

We ended up not staying at the hotel. When we arrived it was clear they are undergoing renovations and we didn’t want to be there during that process. Our reservation was booked with a nonrefundable rate, but the gentlemen at the front desk refunded us for our stay without hassle. We were in the area for a couple of days looking at colleges with our oldest kid. If they end up attending school nearby, we will definitely stay after the renovations are completed.

Absolutely unacceptable. This place is a complete disaster.

No heat on one of the coldest nights in Ohio. We set the thermostat to 84 and waited over two hours—still freezing. Maintenance finally comes down and has the nerve to tell us that the heat is working because he felt it, implying we were somehow imagining the cold. Gaslighting at its finest.

After that? The front desk stopped answering the phone. I called the hotel’s main number and got a recording saying they weren’t accepting calls at all. You literally cannot reach a human when something goes wrong.

I contacted Expedia, who initiated a cancellation due to unsafe conditions—and the hotel denied it. So they’re fine leaving guests without heat in winter as long as they still get paid.

To make it even more ridiculous, we were told to use the Lowe’s customer Wi-Fi across the street because theirs was unusable. I wish I were joking.

I was only here because a pipe burst in my apartment and I had nowhere else to go. Dealing with this level of incompetence and indifference on top of an already stressful situation was the last thing I needed.

If negative stars were an option, this place would earn them. Avoid at all costs.

The next morning breakfast was over at 9:30, I arrived at 8:45 and all the hot food like eggs, sausage/bacon etc vessels were empty, I asked about it and was told all gone. Bathroom is not a bathroom. Pool was not at the temp the clerk told me it was. It was actually cold and not at °82 like I was told . Had to get my own coffee cups for my room their were none. Bathtub does drain well at all when showering water fills up in the tub. Wall around shower stall needs alot of repair.

Very clean place. Easy checkin got a room on the 1st floor by an exit. Large room comfortable bed plus a couch a chair in sitting area. Plus a desk chair. Usb outlets next to bed tons of tv channels with HBO and Cinemax plus all the rest. Plenty of room to park my car with a trailer. At check-in was given a complimentary bottle of water which was unexpected. Nice free breakfast Eggs Bacon Bagels pancakes yogurt plus cereal and other options. Very nice staff every interaction they were polite and helpful. Definitely the nicest place i have stayed at in that area fir the price. Will save the hotel as a favorite.

Let's first talk about what went well. The rates were great, BUT you get what you pay for. The location was superb, a lot of restaurants and shopping quite close.
Now, what didn’t go well. The overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke was horrendous. Staff allows people to smoke in their room. I'm guessing it is people who live in the hotel and/ or family/ friends of the owners. I heard people speaking in the native tongue of the owner which is from India. One of the owners had the audacity to tell me the cigarette smoke is from when people go outside to smoke then when they come back in the smoke smell that sticks to their clothes is what causes the smell. No, it wasn't. I have a photo of empty cigarette packs and I saw people smoking in their room, and in the halls.
The entire hotel needs an update.
They do have a washer and dryer but one of the owners decided to hijack the washer I was using to wash her own clothes, with mine. They ended up in several trash cans.
The ice maker on the first floor is still broken; it was broken in April. My husband stayed one night so he knew it was broken then.
Someone who lives there loaded up on breakfast foods and left none for anyone else, as the staff watched her do it.
The police were pounding on the door across from our room two days in a row looking for a male. He was in the room but he refused to answer the door.
They say they are pet friendly but there were no trash cans outside to throw away their waste. Don't stay here!!

Location is excellent off of the expressway. Check in was awesome. They were very nice. The beds were great although I think they were only full size but we had got a suite with two beds and the couch. I would definitely stay here again passing through town it was comfortable, clean and safe for an overnight. The breakfast was decent. Something to get you on the road something warm, hot breakfast and cold breakfast.

We attended a wedding in the area so we booked a room here so that we didn't have to drive an hour back home. The staff was very friendly and the lobby and room were clean and comfortable. We didn't partake in the breakfast so I can't speak to that. The room was huge, but lacked furniture to fill it. It would have been nice to have a small couch or desk to fill the space a bit. And our AC unit was a bit finicky but we dealt with it

Unfortunately, not a good experience. When I arrived, I waited several minutes before anyone appeared at the front desk. Once inside the room we noticed the bathroom was extremely small. The tub had dark marks that made it look dirty. We were only provided with a two single roll of rough toilet paper for a 4day stay. The room felt more like a dingy motel than the “nice” hotel advertised.
Throughout the stay, no one came to provide the room service that was listed. I had to request extra toilet paper and towels myself.
This hotel did not feel secure. The back door, located on the 1st floor near the garbage area, was propped open with a door stopper during my entire stay. This allowed anyone to enter the building at any time. The front desk staff were rarely present. Graffiti on the stairwell gave the impression that people who didn’t belong there were hanging around. Some guests appeared questionable, further adding to my concern.
On the last night, we were unable to sleep due to a man upstairs who kept screaming and crying “don’t hurt me” from 1am-3am. He didn’t sound like he was in danger. He sounded very intoxicated with alcohol or drugs. Combined with other encounters with suspicious individuals in the hallways and stairwells, gave me the impression that some rooms were occupied by drug users. Overall, I was very disappointed with this hotel. Between the poor service, unsafe environment, and disturbing incidents, I cannot recommend staying here. I will not be returning.

We arrived on August 18th evening.
Check-in was smooth.

The room was spacious, but the Hotel lacked energy, vibe, and ambience.

Room was clean but flooring was a bit odd. Looked like a plastic sheet was put on the floor. The washbasin was outside the bathroom, which appeared odd. The door of the washroom was odd. If you are inside you have to get into odd location to get out once the door is opened.

The breakfast area looked cheap. Plastic table, plastic chair. Food was ordinary. A automatic pancake maker which dished out hard pancakes. Breads, bagels, small muffins, an oddly tasting omelet, and bacon with some cereals, milk, juice, coffee, frozen boiled eggs. Just bland.

Pool was functional but I dared not to go in as there was construction going on.

Will I go back? Most likely no.

The hotel needs a good makeover.

Good afternoon! The room was nice...simple and comfortable. I didn't have much luck with the TV remote since all the channels have numbers followed by a period with another number, and the remote doesn't have a button for a period. So I couldn't get the channel I wanted. Also, the walls are paper thin and my next door neighbors (117) were a family of screaming kids and even louder adults screaming at the kids. The male voice sounded so angry that I was concerned where it was heading, but amazingly, the room got quiet around 11pm.

On a 1 to 5 scale, I would give it a 3. You can't control your guests' behavior, but better soundproofing would help nullify some of that.
