The room had scrapes and scuff marks everywhere bathroom door wouldn’t close. But the worst was the loud scraping at 7 am then the literal pounding and banging with a hammer at 9am in the room directly above us took a good 15-20 minutes to get it stopped started again an hour later no offer of anything in compensation for the inconvenience. Dry wall dust coming down near my personal belongings as well. Horrible experience

The staff were super friendly, helpful, and kind! This is a great place for kids! We loved our stay! I would recommend cleaner floors in the rooms. Carpets need a really good vacuuming in between each stay and there are a list of dust bunnies on the tile floors. I don’t think our rooms had been vacuumed on our stay to and from our trip. 2 different rooms and the floors looked dirty! Also, a continental breakfast would be nice.

Always enjoy staying at the Cleveland Airport ALoft on the road trip from Boston to Wisconsin. They don’t roll their eyes when I mention the dog will be a roommate. In fact, they give my dog even more attention. The rooms are clean, there is plenty of land around for dog walks and exercise.

The good: Great location near the airport, very friendly helpful staff, clean/updated room, great restaurant next door, bar in the lobby, live music in the lobby, better than average breakfast. The bad: They didn't clean our room so we came home to wet towels on the floor (thereby damp air) and unmade bed. We were exhausted and had to sit outside while the front desk staff remade the bed and swapped out towels because housekeeping wasn't on site. The shower is low flow and it's walk-in only so rinsing shampoo from hair is an all day affair. The bathroom sink clogged. The room was on the ground floor so we couldn't open the blinds at all as people walked by a few times. The price was way too high for North Olmsted, Ohio.

We enjoyed our stay. We had to catch a 6:00 a.m. flight & there was no issue catching the shuttle. We were able to leave our vehicle at the hotel for $50 for up to eight days (this isn't clarified anywhere on the Hotels.com listing). Our trip was five days, so it was definitely cheaper than any if the other lots. A 20% discount at the restaurant next to the hotel was an added bonus! We'd stay again, no doubt.

I was very dissapointed with the ammenities, that there was no room service. I checked in at 6:00pm and checked out arount 200pm because the ice machine was not working and everyone was slamining door to get to the 3rd or 4th floor for ice. I did not know any tv stations. I could not contol the heat or air in room it was freezing. When i called for ice she was very nice and food was good. When I asked to be moved to another room NO ONE answered the phone.
I will not recommend the Loft and I would like my money refunded for an awful stay.

Ceiling in room & hallway looked patched/repaired, bubbled from some type of previous water damage which had me worrying how much mold I was breathing in. The carpet cleanliness was questionable - I guess it's \"pet friendly\" (?) because there was dried dog poop under the bench below the TV. The toiletries were heavily fragranced with synthetic chemical scents and there was a strong cleaning smell (? or maybe leftover from toiletries) to the room itself. Not for anyone with sensitivities to mold / chemicals / fragrances / animals etc. It was an accessible room and that in itself was up to par but it was positioned at the very end of a long thin hallway through an interior door that might not accommodate electronic chairs and you'd have to enter from the side of the building with help from hotel staff as you can't use your key card to enter that door - exit only. If you weren't looking very hard and had a short stay - it seemed clean and modern enough. Probably better than most other options. Sigh.

We had a large group for an event at the IX Center and needed multiple rooms for 4 or more people. The Aloft staff was very friendly and gave us connecting rooms on the first floor, each with two beds. The walk-in shower was a REAL PLUS, as were the comfortable beds, fridge, closet shelving, and daily housekeeping. The kids also loved the pool and weight room. The hotel itself was across the expressway from a lot of great restaurants and only 10 minutes from the Airport/IX Center. Everything about the Aloft and location were great. Our only complaints were the thin walls and rowdy crowd at the bar down the hall that made it hard to fall asleep on one occasion, and the fact they didn’t offer a free continental breakfast. Overall though, our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. I’m sure we’ll be back with our group again next April.

As a nice treat of relaxation, we decided to book a room here and make a day of the boat show and Cleveland. When we got to the hotel, we were exhausted and were looking forward to a hot shower and relaxing. The hotel is clean and very modern. I have no complaints at all with that. However, we literally got 2 hours of sleep. You can hear EVERYTHING from EVERY direction. The doors to the room are very heavy and they slam shut quickly. Most of the evening we heard room doors slamming shut and footsteps—not even people being intentionally loud. The doors as I said were extremely heavy and slam shut very quickly. The pocket door to the shower/toilet does as well. Above and on each side, that is what we heard all night. You can very clearly hear conversations and the dinging and opening of the elevator doors. Just after being able to fall asleep around 2am, an alarm went off at 415am. It was so clear that I thought my partner set alarm and he thought the same for me. No, it was the room upstairs. How do we know? We could hear the discussion of catching a flight and can hear each and every foot step, toilet flush, and showers that were taken. This isn’t anything to do with the personnel that work there, as Mila at the front desk when checking in was very friendly. It’s a complete design flaw and a completely annoying and disappointing one as well. We ended up cancelling our plans for Sunday just to make the drive home and sleep!

Checkin at 8:00pm or so after long day of visiting local colleges. Although front desk representative was friendly she only offered first floor room. The room was facing parking lot, had chipped paint in walls with stains. Bathroom and shower did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. Loud neighbors and woken up at 6:00am to dogs barking in adjoining room. The breakfast items were over priced and not appealing, $8.00 for pre-made breakfast sandwich. Other then the first front desk clear encountered upon checkin, not other representatives were friendly, no acknowledgement entering and exiting the front lobby. I was disappointed, as I paid a little more then usual to stay at Aloft, so that my son would have a great experience.

My room was right off the lobby/bar and it was loud. I had an early flight the next morning and finally went out to the front desk to ask about reducing the noise. The clerk was friendly and helpful - she ended up closing a door between the lobby and the guest rooms. The food offered in the lobby was processed or junk food with limited healthy options. The restaurant affiliated with the hotel was a bar and grill sort of restaurant. The room itself felt sterile and soul-less. I get what Aloft is going for but I think they miss the mark. It just feels like every other hotel chain with a few funky chairs and lighting fixtures.

The room was dirty. It was dusty and you can tell the floor wasn’t vacuumed at all. So it felt as if there was only a top level clean. There was also no soap in the bathroom. We asked for some and the front desk said the body wash was discontinued and they had a bar they could give us.

It was close to the highway which was nice. We didn’t like the fact that the AC fan was broken and loud all day, the shampoo and body wash were never filled before entering and never filled during our room cleans throughout our stay, and the fact that the cleaning staff came in while the DND sign was posted and moved all of our things.
