Asked for a non-smoking room and got a room that was past filthy and had smoke damage in the non-smoking room! I got in late so I didn’t bring it to their attention! He started screaming at me saying it was my fault the room was filthy! The only reason I was there was because my father-in-law is in the hospital fighting for his life and it was very last minute! He refused to give me my money or clean the room! I asked him to call the police; he refused and said I wasn’t allowed back in the room, then called the police! They showed up; I talked to them! The first thing they asked me was why I was staying here; it’s a hell hole! I told them the pictures online are false and fabricated! The police asked them to change the sheets so I can at least lay down; they did, and that was it! I’m telling you the only good thing is that I didn’t catch anything crawling! The worst in every single way and needs to be shut down immediately!!

Mid December. The parking lot and walkways to the rooms had not been cleared of snow. I entered the room to find it at 40 degrees F. So I cranked the heater and drove away for about an hour to get dinner. When I returned the room had reached 47 degrees. At that point I checked out and found lodging elsewhere.

We ended up not staying here after they showed us the room. There were women running around in the hallway in their bras, bullet holes in the walls & it was filthy. My 9 year old granddaughters were with me. Totally unacceptable. We signed a paper for refusal but they kept our booking open for the 3 days & 2 night. So it seemed like we stayed & did Not stay. They refused to give us our money back. Please go anywhere else but here. Crocker Park area is where we ended up staying, much safer & clean.

I found tiny bugs in my bed during my stay and woke up with bites all over my legs. I now have visible marks, and despite contacting Expedia, the hotel refused to issue a refund. Expedia did their best with trying to contact them several times but no response on approval for a refund. I travel a lot for my job and usually stay at certain hotels but this was a last minute thing and never had such bad experience with a hotel before. The room was also dirty, and had a strong odor. Very disappointing experience — poor cleanliness and no accountability.

When we first got to our room in the second floor we were worried because there were so many spiders outside on the building. We walked into a nice clean room. Our keycard stopped working and had to be recharged two different times. There were not a lot of options at breakfast. The pool was nice as were the staff.

The rooms are disgusting, even the non-smoking room smell like smoke. The photos on the website for Expedia do not represent the rooms at all. None of the rooms look like this. When I brought it to the staff attention, he said a third-party site puts the photos on there and they didn’t provide any photos. So they are aware that’s not their hotel. I told them that the Benning and the non-smoking room spelt like cigarettes. I was not given a new blanket that was freshly laundered, but I was given new sheets. On August 10, 2025, I arrived at the hotel at 5:00 PM to check in, although the official check-in time stated by the hotel is 3:00 PM. Upon arrival, I was informed by the front desk staff that no rooms were available because all rooms were still being cleaned. This is a clear violation of the booking policy.

During my visit, the staff’s attitude was unprofessional and unacceptable. I was told that my reservation would be canceled and my payment refunded. However, this turned out to be false — the hotel simply canceled my reservation without issuing any refund, wasting my time and causing significant inconvenience that day.

On the following day, August 11, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, I contacted the hotel again, only to be told that no one was available to assist me with the refund process.

I am requesting an immediate full refund of my payment and appropriate compensation for the time and inconvenience caused.

I know it was a cheap room but the ratings seemed decent enough to give it a shot based on its location. I regret it. The room smelled like urine and there were drywall patches. Insufficient soap, the tub didn't drain, the curtains didn't close all the way, and there was no refreshing at all over multiple days.

Not as nice as the pictures made it seem. Beds were, meh. Pillows were like half sized. They never once came in to clean the room in the 5 days we were there. There was no card to indicate that we wanted it cleaned either. There were white spots on the wall from patching holes. The shower curtain was moldy. The window curtains were crappy and often had to be readjusted so no one could peak in. My door card kept erasing. (I kept it away from my phone like they said and it still did it). We were very disappointed. We almost left early and got a different hotel.

This facility is going through major renovations and upgrades. The room we had was clean, modern and comfortable. The included breakfast was scant, however for the price it was welcomed. I would absolutely recommend this place and would return if in the area.

Room was obviously in the middle of a renovation, with plastered holes in the walls, mold and gaps between ceiling and walls over shower. Bed was firm and clean, but not enough pillows or towels for 3 people.

The place is going through construction so there were a lot of issues. The room was pretty worn looking and the bedspeads looked dirty. There was only one electric outlet on the nightstand so hooking up a laptop to sit at the desk was not possible. They do not have smart TV so you just have Spectrum basic. Breakfast was toast, bagels, and waffles. Before checkout on the day I was leaving the staff tried coming in my room without knocking and then the manager came to see if I was staying another night ( my stay was 2 nights). The pool was nice though.

The over all experience was ok for the price. The room had the ceiling over the bed falling in from a possible leak above. Breakfast was supposed to be from 630 to 930 when I got there at 745 there was only cold cereal,waffles, and white bread for toast. Coffee and OJ was out. When I checked out I let the attendant know that everything was out in the breakfast area and about the room. All he had to say was oh yes we have been busy ,but did not make an attempt to refill anything. Probably will not return.

Needed accessible, at least bottom floor facilities and got 2nd floor stairs. Room looked clean, but when I spilt water and dried it up the cloth was filthy. The railing on the stairs were too high making it unsafe. The breakfast was laughable. There was no restroom near the pool, was told to use the one in the front office, but they didn't want water dripping everywhere. He told me to use the restroom in my room which was the other building and up stairs. I think this just promotes people peeing in the pool. Not very customer oriented.

The first impression was run down and dirty. The door was dented with chipped paint. Once inside the bathroom was dingy and old. The beds were like sleeping on concrete and the floor was dirty. The walls were thin; I could hear everything going on in my neighbors room.
The parking lot was frequently patrolled by the local police; that did not make anyone feel safe.

This is an older motel, so it is not as clean. The bed sheets and towels were clean. Liked that i could park the car in front of my room. Area was quiet. Was able to have my dog and a smoking room which was a big plus. The cost was cheaper than surrounding hotels. Would stay again.

Also be careful, a massive pothole at one if the entrances blew out my tire. I had to pay 400.00 on a Saturday evening to have it replaced repaired. Do not stay here. I reserved two nonsmoking queens and received two very smoky fulls. Since we arrived late, I was going to discuss this with them in the AM. However, my sleep was interrupted by a male screaming getout of here you dumb b****. And in the AM there was a roach in our cooler. They would not refund the following two nights that we prepaid so hopefully expedia will do what is right and refund them as we checked out as soon as we could get dressed. Also, the door was not all the way to the door jam and you could see outside, which meant the outside could see inside.

We checked in late and we had to use a bulletproof drive through window. 🚩 We went around to our room and noticed that people were hanging out in front of their rooms… almost like this is where they lived. 🚩 We got into the room and the walls had patches all over them and it wasn’t fully painted. 🚩 I noticed a massive wolf spider in the ground and leaned over and smooshed it. That’s when I saw THE COCKROACH! 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

The front desk agreed to refund us but it was very obvious he wasn’t shocked we found COCKROACHES in our room.

When I say we ran out of that place as fast as we could, I want you to imagine frantic grabbing of bags and literal running out the door. I haven’t stopped itching yet!

Overall the inside of the hotel was generally clean, but the outside and pool area had a lot of litter and needs cleaned up. Garbage dumpsters and trash cans were all full to the point of overflowing. My only complaints about the inside was there were big holes in the walls left unfilled where pictures had been taken down and headboard was dusty, something spilled all over wall behind door that obviously wasnt cleaned up, and the comforter on top of beds were both stained and looked liked old used retro curtains! The man at the front desk was pleasant but was not allowed to give more than 2 towels/wash cloths per day per management, meanwhile there were 5 of us staying so that was very inconvenient. The hotel is in walking distance to some nice restaurants and pretty quiet. With a little TLC , time and effort, landscaping and better management this could be a great place!

Avoid this place! There were holes in the floor and wall of the room they tried to give us. The bedsheet was stained. The TV did not work. And it took awhile to check in, we had just approached the front desk when another woman barged in upset (now we see why) and the man at the front desk said she was first. He offered to switch us to another room but showed us one that stank, it was maybe cigarettes or animals or both (we had reserved non smoking). We did not stay but asked the man at the front desk for a refund. The room had been listed as non refundable but he said he refunded it on his end, we just hope hotels.com does too.

This place is a dump. I got a room for my daughter and her bf and 1.5yo. Room
Is musty and needs updating badly. They didn’t get in until midnight and there were several people just hanging around property, on balconies and in parking lot smoking and being noisie. There was hair on sheets and room was half ass cleaned.
