Clean room with comfy bed. TV was a smart WiFi one that kept kicking me off and asking me to sign in again every four minutes. Disappointing since we had an infant who likes to watch bouncing fruit videos on YouTube to settle down for bed. Elevator was down so we had to take the stairs.

This is a great option for an early or late flight. There is a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes, versus some hotels only runs every hour. Also, there is a restaurant/bar on property. Rooms are spacious and staff was extremely friendly.

I booked through Expedia. The dates changed in the app and I did not catch it until I got the confirmation.
I tried changing the dates as soon as it booked no one would change the dates - not Expedia and not the hotel. So I lost the entire payment because the wrong date was booked

Check-in. Did not get balcony that I paid for. Walking out of main entrance to car, slipped and fell on ground right in front of sliding doors A small mat was there but did not cover the whole area. They salted it, but when my hand hit the ground it was greasy. So obviously it was something else. Shuttle driver was right there and never said a word. Room- toilet had a urine spot on the seat. The seat was positioned up, so don't know how they could have missed the spot right there. The drapes and blinds had marks on them. No paper cups for the coffee or bathroom . Pool was closed, even though it looked clean. Parking lot was very full, however, hotel seemed empty. Restaurant/bar looked nice, but didn't eat here. Hotel is very dated. This hotel is convenient to airport,and restaurants and probably good for an overnight stay, but not much more than that. They did provide complimentary late check out.

This was an unfortunately absolutely terrible experience all-around. I booked easily, and everything was going according to plan. The evening my coworker and I were set to arrive, we experienced a flight delay and I called the hotel to ensure I could still check-in if arriving after Midnight. I was told they would
Check me in early, no worries, and received an email confirmation of check-in. By the time we had finals made it to the hotel, we were told we couldn’t get keys or check-in, the manager who had helped us had lied, and we wouldn’t be able to check-in the following day. I am out one night’s stay for following their policy, very disappointing from this Crowne Plaza and IHG. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel with some complications.

If I can recommend you do anything before you stay here, it is to call ahead and make sure you have a room. Myself and a lot of other people showed up yesterday to check in and the staff said they oversold the hotel by a large number. People traveling were stranded with no transportation or options. I was fortune to have my vehicle and drove 1/2 hour away and found another hotel

Our room didn’t have a lock on it, there was mold on the wall by the windows, there was holes on the bed frame. The lobby was dirty, overflowing garbage that was not being cleaned. The staff at the lobby desk didn’t know a thing about how breakfast worked for the guests. The hallways smelled like marijuana, the elevator wasn’t working, the bathroom was dirty, our room didn’t seem like it was cleaned. Very poor hygiene overall

Cold air was coming in through the exterior doors and door frames of the rooms. The second room had the same issue. We were only able to sleep in a third room at around 3:00 a.m.

The bathroom only had two hand towels and one washcloth. My requests for full sized bath towels were ignored. The room itself smelled musty, and there were stains on the curtains and walls. I had to scrub a medium sized yellow spot out of the bottom of the bathtub. When I left to check out, the elevator smelled like weed.

This was genuinely a terrible experience. The place wreaked of marijuana smell… the doors literally would closed shut, and the key had to be reprogrammed three times only resulting in the maintenance guy literally taking a crow-bar to the lock to let me into the room. This place truly sucks.

The main reason for booking this hotel was for my kids to swim. The website didn’t indicate the pool was closed, telephone number was wrong so I couldn’t confirm and I was not told this at check-in. Don’t stay the night but still charged full price. Refund request was not responded to.

The key machine was out of order and our rooms were moved twice just get working keys. Terrible runaround. Awful shuttle ordeal. Had to leave 1 hour earlier and get up at 3:15 am to make a shuttle. Ridiculous. No staff working restaurant and all we wanted was a quiet night in after traveling in an ice storm. Between the key and restaurant fiasco, we didn’t get to bed until 9pm when arrived at 6. Just terrible.

The day we were headed to the hotel we called to see if the room had a refrig so we could bring snacks since it was not listed as an amenity. We were told no. When we got to our room there was a refrig but we hadn't brought the cheese and crackers we had planned for a snack. We were told by the deck \"Oh we have a bunch of new people!\"
We also pd in advance for the breakfast buffet.
Next morning we went down to the restaurant and there was no buffet. Our two choices were an Omlete and potatoes or eggs and bacon and potatoes. Though the food and service was good it was not as advertised. We were told it was because the hotel was booked under capacity.
The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Though we did wonder the choice of the soap and shampoo bottle holders being centered right in the middle of the shower wall. So you have to stand far away from the showerhead and try and direct the water on you to shower. Or you have to stand right up against the wall the showerhead is on otherwise is you are bumping into the bottles on the wall.
Oh and there was the elevators. Out of 3 only one worked and moaned and groaned the entire ride. Since we were on the 5th floor and elder we didn't have a choice but to use it. We laughed and prayed when we did.

It was not the best day of anywhere we’ve been recently! Their Keurig coffee maker only had pods for decaf. The entire hotel only had decaf pods. That was a big no !
The back door key wouldn’t work – so therefore I had a really long walk! I walk with a cane – so it’s not that easy for me to walk long distances. Our room was right by the side door and we couldn’t use it!
Wi-Fi didn’t work in the hotel. The shower went from hot to cold all the time while using it.
And I don’t know why hotels do this, but they should have an opportunity to give someone a stepstool to get into the beds! They are way too high for normal size people
Sadly, also the only day that the front desk was nice, was the very first day we checked in. After that they couldn’t be bothered.

Upon check-in, we noticed that we did not have any towels for drying off after taking a shower. I called down to the front desk. They said they would have them brought up nothing happened. We also asked for hand soap as they have liquid hand soap dispenser mounted on the wall. They had plenty of lotion, but no hand soap. Also, the shower caddy that holds the body soap. Shampoo and conditioner was not mounted on the wall. There is mold on the ceiling. Looks like a toilet or the shower above is leaking, causing mold. Overall, this looks like a nice property on the outside yet. It is definitely mismanaged and not well maintained. I have stayed here at least five times in the past 10 years and I have to say this is the worst condition I’ve experienced. I will not be staying here again until Something happens in a positive manner.

One worked and it stopped for a while on 2nd day of our 5 day stay. Restaurant sucked as ran out of menu food. Didn’t want maid service in room but set out trash cans and the maid service didn’t take it for 2 days. Only pleasant thing was the service desk as the guy covering during the day tried to be friendly and accommodating. Never staying at this hotel again!

They did not post any signs stating that the elevators was not working. Horrible communication with there customers. Also, the staff did not feel any urgency in calling to get the elevators fixed.

Toilet seat had a large crack in it, looked dirty and to have been like that for a long while. Trashcans down the middle of the hallways with water and garbage in it. No bulb in bedside table light or the main overhead light. Hair was in the shower like it hadnt been cleaned. Bed was fairly comfortable, but everything else felt dated, dirty, and like the staff didnt really care. Only one of our key cards worked as well.

This place is very outdated. Only one elevator working and it’s very shaky. Waited a long time every time for it. Elevator smelled. They need serious renovations. Not sure why they gave me a handicapped room. They should have gave that to someone who really needed it. The bed made noise with every movement. Bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned and old. No bags were in the garbage cans. They need to replace the shower curtain. Breakfast wasn’t great. I will never come back here.

It was an inconvenience for him to check to be sure we were on the list for airport shuttle the following morning. Dumb waiters were in terrible condition. So, it was like the twilight zone where no one was working. When we first got to our roomI noticed that the toilet was running and then it started leaking. I tried to call down to the desk five different times to report it and no one would answer the phone. Then when we went downstairs to the restaurant again the twilight zone no one was there. The TVs were on the bar was open. Just no one was working. It was the weirdest experience ever the room was clean however we had to make sure that we didn’t slip and fall in the bathroom because there was so much water leaking everywhere, but I couldn’t get a hold of a staff member to even tell him that there was a problem. The TV couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi the entire time so therefore we couldn’t even watch anything on TV. I just think this property needs a serious renovation.

This property did not have the room I booked, I was supposed to to have a king bed with tub- I got a crappy full bed with shower, a room where the TV didn’t work, couldn’t get a drink because bartender had left,couldn’t get a meal because cook wasn’t there, couldn’t get in pool because it wasn’t open, and didn’t get a refund because Expedia CANT GET A RESPONSE FROM PROPERTY MANAGER! The pool & sauna area was not useable during my entire stay. The microwave was always nasty inside & the top of it. Reported to desk but no one cleaned it. When I came back later in the evening it had not been cleaned still.
Dirty linens & towels stayed on the hall floor in front of several rooms for day & half. I reported it to desk but those filthy bed linens & towels was still out in the hall when I left my room to checkout. One of the elevators stayed out of order. The ice machine on the floor out stayed never had ice when I went. I had to go to the main floor ice machine. I paid a $50 refundable deposit and I am still waiting for the $50 refund to my card. This was an unpleasant stay for my first time in Ohio.
The rooms were extremely nice inside. I was hoping for a nice experience for my stay at the Crowne Plaza middleburg.
I really would like to give this place a second chance if I ever visit Ohio again. Hoping that all these negatives mention are resolved.

This place is really bad. This is an old Motel 6, nothing is updated. This is not a Hotel - its a motel.
On the way to out \"room\" we passed piles of garbage. Some were out side the rooms, but they had huge piles around the full garbage cans. The room floor looked clean, but the chair had some red stains on them. The linen had holes. It didn't smell bad, but with some of the people walking around there I wasn't comfortable leaving my car sitting outside all night.
From the time I got my keys for the room to the time I went back to the desk, had to be under 20min. I let the front desk know that we will not be staying here because of the condition of the property (DON'T BELIEVE THE PICTURES FOR THIS PROPERTY). According to the policy NO Refunds will be given. If this was a $40 per night motel, I wouldn't complain, but the price was over triple that price. Expedia asked for the refund and they wouldn't budge. Expedia did offer a $25 credit for my trouble, but I am out 6x's that amount, because we had to get a different room.

We were not able to check into our room until 10PM because the rooms were not cleaned. We were supposed to wait for a call to tell us when we could check in, that never came. We finally just went to the counter and asked. The pool was closed and we were given no heads up. We booked this hotel strictly because it had a pool. There were dirty linens all over the hallways. There was mold on our wall and what looked like blood spatter on the wall. It was terrible.

Not a royal experience at the Crowne Cleveland

Reserved online, arrived 5 hours after check in time only to be told there were 15 reservations ahead of us waiting for the 2 queen room option. At this point we just wanted to go to bed so we took the room offered. No adjustments were made to our bill. The room was in total disrepair. I had a reservation for 2 nights. Upon arrival at 7:00 pm there were no clean rooms available. There were a lot of angry people waiting in the lobby for their rooms also. I finally got a room at 9:00 pm. The halls had dirty bedding & towels laying in piles on the floor which were still there in the am. The parking area was a bit of a walk in the dark, with no security. There was only one garbage basket in my room, without a plastic bag, in the bathroom, along with one box of kleenex, also in the bathroom. Also, not a single box of kleenex in the lobby. Getting into a room at 9 pm is unacceptable. They should have offered something to make up for it.

First of all we did not get the room that we reserved. The only rooms that were available were king size beds which we did not have a reservation for. When we got to our room I looked down the hall and there was dirty linen all the way down the hall and made it look like a flop house. Our night bolt was broken on our door. From what I understand there were staffing problems which I can totally relate to however would probably never book at a Crown again.

This was one of the most disappointing stays I've had in years! Everything about the property exuded an air of neglect & an \"I don't care\" attitude. Here's a partial listing of issues:
1 - Broken elevator
2 - Bed made in a sloppy manner & with missing sheet
3 - Belligerant attitude from one of the desk clerks
4 - Bundles of dirty bedding & a large trash receptical in the hall of the floor on which we stayed.
