Bed bug alert! At first glance the hotel seemed to be clean enough to spend one night while my parent was hospitalized at Cleveland clinic. The staff was nice enough and you truly get what you pay for. However when I woke up in the morning there was a bed bug- live crawling on the bed. I had checked the mattresses the night before when I first arrived and no signs. The front desk clerk was very nice when I presented the dead bed bug. She said they have done things to get rid of them but it happens. They gave me trash bags for all my belongings and said they would reimburse my room. However they never did what they needed to on their end for Expedia to refund mr. Despite calls to the hotel. My $59 room cost a purse, suitcase, and clothes that needed to be thrown away. Bad choice on my end- you get what you pay for.

Pool was closed and not listed on the site. But they will let you know after the room is paid. And unfortunately my stay was non refundable so I had to just deal with it. Also when Expedia contacted the manager they just hung up on the lady. Very unprofessional!!!!!

This was our second time staying here on the way back from NY. Location convenient (is right off Freeway). Lots of restaurants and shopping available in area. Hotel room was clean. Breakfast was good. Only thing that could be improved was Lobby floor especially by entrance was wet and dirty from weather outside. Signs posted to use caution but perhaps fan to dry it. Could have slipped and fell especially carrying in travel bags. The floor was the similar when we left in the morning, was dry but still really dirty. Would stay here again> Can’t beat the price.

We booked the hotel for the pool for the kids. We were not informed by the website or upon arrival that it is closed for remodeling until April. The room floors were dirty and it smelled of cigarette smoke in the hallways. I also saw a cigarette butt on the hallway floor.

The pool is closed for remodeling until April. That was one of the reasons we stayed there. Work has been done on the hotel to remodel it but the rooms are kinda dirty and no stopper in the bathroom and a dirty tub.

After reading some of the previous reviews I was expecting some issues, but still booked due to location next to the hockey rink my son was playing at, and rooms at $45/night (on a Wednesday.) We were greeted with a cheerful and efficient front desk person, the lobby was nice, there were hot coffee/water machines, the elevators were fine, our connecting rooms were clean and bug-free, furnishings and carpet were clean, room temperature controls were great, all lamps and fridge and TV's worked, plumbing was fine, beds and pillows were comfortable, the entire place was quiet... I am still trying to figure out what people were complaining about. Maybe some rooms are more updated than others, and weekend nights are more rowdy, but I have no idea. At any rate, if you are staying mid-week, take advantage of the amazing rates.

The first room they gave us had a sink that was very slow to drain, along with the drain plug wasn't attached, that you couldn't close the drain. There wasn't any maintenance person on site to fix it. They then gave us a different room. That drain plug didn't close completely either, but the sink did drain well. Neither had curtains that you could close, just real thin see through ones.
The swimming pool was closed because of maintenance both in the evening and also, in the morning. The pool is one of the factors when we book a motel, so this was very disappointing.

Property is well-maintained, but old, so some areas seem to be below expectations. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were very small in size. We had already checked in online to save time, but when we arrived for check-in at night, people were lined up waiting for their turn to check in. Very slow process to just complete the registration and hand over the keys. We booked 2 King bedrooms, but the lady at the reception told us that they don't have any King bedrooms available. I told her that we already booked via Expedia and paid in advance, but she said that they have only 2 queen bedrooms available. Later, she arranged a King bedroom and a 2 queen bedroom. Staff were courteous but seemed to be less professional or interested in serving us. During breakfast, no one was there to answer any questions. Had to reach out to the reception for some questions regarding dietary restrictions. Pool timing advertised 7 am to 11 pm, but it was open from 10 am.

As a whole, it was a nice stay at this hotel.

The only issue with the stay was that there was a hair on the bed spread when we arrived at the room. This was obviously very disappointing as it questioned the cleanliness of the room immediately after arriving. There weren't any other issues with the stay, but the arrival was a little disappointing because of this.

Room was immaculate, bed was very comfy, nice large pillows and hot breakfast was great. Only negative I can say is I wish the indoor pool water was warmer- I would estimate the water temp was about 82 degrees- a lil chill getting in. Also there are NO STEPS to get into or out of the pool- only ladders which is very difficult for us old ladies and disabled hubby. I would stay here again though just based off the cleanliness and comfortable beds.

Overall I was very satisfied with my experience FOR THE VALUE, which was very good compared to other choices & properties anywhere in the area. Room was acceptably clean; bed was quite comfortable. NO BUGS, no overpowering or funky smells, and NO CIG ODOR which is very important to me.
The room was HUGE, honestly almost a WASTE of space because no real purpose for all the extra room. But SHOCKINGLY, there was NO MICROWAVE in the room!!!! I was very disappointed by this as it would've been very helpful, and I don't think I've EVER been in a room at any other hotel that didn't have at least a small one (and I stay in a LOT of economy hotels). The fridge was TINY, probably smallest I've ever seen, but at least it HAD one, which was helpful. Would have HAPPILY taken a smaller ROOM, as a trade-off for a microwave & bigger fridge. I roamed the hallways the next morning when all the doors were open to have the rooms cleaned; out of at least 20 rooms I went by, only ONE had a small microwave in it. ??

The only other real complaint was the bathroom only had one VERY DIM LIGHT - around the very small mirror, above the very small vanity. The light was SO DIM I could hardly see my hair to comb it. I've never experienced this in any other hotel.
The sink also seemed to have problems draining if water ran a couple min, it would start to fill up & take 10 min or longer to go down, but did this sort of intermittently, not every time. FOR THE VALUE, WOULD STAY AGAIN.

I reserved a king accessible room for my wife who has trouble walking. When i arrived the said they didn't have any available even though that is what i reserved. Then they proceeded to give us a room on the 4th floor and in the rear and farthest portion of the hotel. Just the worst spot for a person with a wlaking disability.
