The hotel is under complete renovation and from the outside looks like the hotel isn’t even open for reservations. There was holes in the
walls/ceilings of the room/bathroom, bathroom sink had what looked like plaster covered all in it, shower was dirty and covered in dirt, and just looked like housekeeping hasn’t been in the room.

The hotel was under construction so the outside didn’t look the best. They upgraded me to a suite which was nice but the ere were a few issues. The water was slightly brown which made me not really want to shower in it. The tub was not the cleanest. The room was not thoroughly checked as there was still trash in one of my trash cans. The light bulbs in the room also needed to be changed and the remote for the tv did not work either.

People are very nice. They did not have any handicap rooms, so no seat in the shower and difficult to get out of the tub. Nice lighting. Excellent refrigerator. Nice alarm clock. Clean. Very comfortable beds.

First of all the entire place is under construction which would have been nice to know before booking.. the grounds were not kept and it looked like an abandoned building.. everything in the room was broken, drawers broken, fridge didn’t work; and the smell was awful it smelled so musty. The entire hotel was falling apart under construction. The gym and pool were closed. Everything was falling down. I stepped on a nail walking around the hotel. The baloney was covered in construction stuff falling off the hotel. Very unsafe. The room smelled disgusting. The ice maker didn’t work. Stains all over carpet in room.

This place looked like it was closed down, grass overgrown, parking lot had glass and trash all over. It was under construction! I walked in and wasn't sure if I was in the right place. They ran out of my room I requested so they upgraded or should I say downgraded me to a suite. the suite 436 was horrible! very dirty/dusty, the balcony windows had bird poop all over it and the balcony roof was falling down, walking around the room I stuck to the floor, the fridge stunk and had sticky stuff on the handle. the Hotel should be closed down until it is remodeled and cleaned.

I assume the hotel is under construction, because there is no way that anyone would stay in a place that looks like it was a surviving building in an apocalypse. The pictures on Expedia, are 100% wrong, old, or just from another location, because that is why I chose the hotel... until I saw it up close and could not believe I was being sent to stay at a place like this. It looked abandon. My husband convinced me to approach the door that I thought was not going to open. But we went in, and the young woman at the front desk was nice, gave us our room keys and when we got there, we had to turn around. It was supposed to be a non smoking room and it reeked in the hallway. The room stank like stale cigars and it was dirty. We did not stay. It was a very creepy experience. Please don't lie to the public.

Hotel RL is an older, well-used property. In its day it was stellar. That is part of its charm. Staying in a hotel so many people have enjoyed staying in. It is currently under renovation and will be becoming a Holiday Inn property. The location is amazing; close to 480, mall, Walmart, Red Robin and a ton of other restaurants. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff was excellent!

I’ve never stayed at this location but I was traveling an booked a reservation online paid for it an all I got the email for the confirmation for my reservation an I noticed the date was wrong which I know I put the date for the 17th an here the date was 16th last night so when I noticed I contacted the booking agent an he told me that the hotel was not refunding my money nor changing the date an marked my reservation as a no show so for that I will never reserve an online reservation due to no matter what you will never get refunded

At first I did not think it was even open, renovation is still going on, the building looked like it was abandoned for months and looks like they just reopened. The room was old and average, the bed sheets had hairs on them, and the pillows didn't smell washed, like someone had just slept on them the night prior.

This property is under construction. Nothing online was correct. We had no choice but to stay because we would have our money. The hotel said they couldn't do anything for us. We had to stay elsewhere after the 2 days we had endure. My wife was scared especially they called us to move our car, which was in the parking lot of the hotel because they were in a construction zone. The manager from red Robin offered us appetizers after he realized that we're were actually paying to stay there. The worst experience ever!!We were mislead by the advertising that your website showed.

I've always loved this hotel regardless of its condition. The architect understood hospitality. It's quiet, with comfy dark rooms and a dog owners suits on the first level. It's being remodeled under new ownership and I hope they keep the aspects that I love - especially the mirrors! When I have to look my best, I would stay here for the mirrors! A nice young man made sure we had plenty of towels. The service is always polite.

Worst booking places and hotel I have ever stayed

This hotel was full of mold dirty and everything was broken . Called hotel.com / Expedia and they said the morning we checked out that they where going to refund us then we waited called back two weeks later now they want me to pay them $20.00 to get a refund I will NEVER book with hotel.com or Expedia ther eran by the same people there rude and can hardly speak English. Don’t even stay at the hotel rl Cleveland airport hotel it is horrible nasty dirty moldy .. zoom in on the roof it was water damaged and bulging out ask front desk to switch rooms she laughed and said they where all like that .

This hotel is so run down, not recommended at all no amenities pools not open no restaurant very limited supplies. The hotel is very dirty inside . It is not what it seems online. The hotel was saying they are under renovations but not until you are there they should let you know this before booking. I was completely disappointed. My door did not lock from the inside. My window did not have a safety lock on it. We were on the third floor no screen there was also no fire route plan on the back of the door. We did not have a fire alarm in our room, very unsafe! the hot water took forever to become lukewarm. The list goes on and on.

It was ok i just wish that these hotel stop saying free breakfast or they be specific when they say breakfast alot of times customers patronize business due to what extas they come with. I personally did I thought I was gonna get real good food it was dry cereal, dry bagels, dry muffins and oh you got to make your own dry waffles no eggs no meats nothn with moisture for your throat everything made your mouth dry and to not have any liquid to wash it down. It was horrible to say the least smh... I told them they could of least put some fruit or yogurt out. No juice bar no waters put only coffee, hot tea everyone dont drink that stuff

An old property but this might not be fair as I understand this property is going to be totally renovated and converted to a Royal Sonesta soon. Very few people stayed in hotel so the Internet works great. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is excellent with bus stop for 55 Cleveland line to downtown taking about 60 min. The hotel also has shuttle to airport. There are Walmart, Target, a mall food court within walking distance. Overall the property is old (but with 1980s-1990s nostalgic feel) but the stay is pleasant. Before I forgot great American breakfast every morning with eggs, hash browns, sausages, bacon and waffles.

This is one those \"in transition\" places that has probably been sold,bought/sold a couple times over, but no one is investing anything in the upkeep and it shows ... Service for the most part was good, but the airport shuttle service is only available 8am-8pm and as the front desk person relayed to us, it cannot really be relied upon as in her words, \"we don't know if or when we will have a driver so you should probably download the Uber app\".A couple of the employees are pretty unhappy with their workplace, and again, it shows...

They did not hold our reservation. We had no where to stay at 3:00 in the morning. There was garbage spilling out of can in the doorway to the lobby. Cracks in the facade, paint was old. Overall the place needed to be updated and cleaned. Honestly, we were better off, we found a MUCH better hotel that was modern & clean with professional, warm, friendly, helpful staff

Oof y’all. This was like a crusty twilight zone hotel situation. First, I drove right past the building because it was so falling-down-looking on the outside, I thought my maps app misdirected me 😬 Quick note: this isn’t a Radisson anymore. That’s how it’s listed on Hotels(.)com, where I booked, but it’s been purchased by Sonesta / I saw a lot of Red Lion Inn branding. Not worth the one hundred I spent but couldn’t get a refund, unfortunately.

The lobby looks nice! And the girl that checked me in was super nice! And that’s about where it stops. Can’t speak to the pool or fitness center but the room was just … crusty. I don’t know that I’d go all the way to a “gross” rating, but definitely on the way there. I just spent 2 months living in a cabin in the woods for a summer camp that I think was less crusty. I wore slippers + shower shoes, and didn’t touch the couch. Have a peek at the pictures. They say they’re renovating, which is understandable to a point. No working ice machine anywhere but the 2nd floor.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was giving motel vibes at hotel prices. The pictures of the property are very deceptive. I was not comfortable at all. I struggled even sitting down. When I asked for a partial refund I was told by Expedia that there was nothing they could do unless I left the hotel altogether and booked somewhere. This was impossible considering the events going on in the city during my stay. Most other hotels were booked or their rates were extremely high. Also, Expedia referred me to the front desk, but the front desk said I needed to talk to Expedia. So, since I was pretty much forced to spend 2 nights in this dump. I went and complained again. I ended being switched 3 times and this was after getting in late from flight delays with Frontier (terrible airline). The first room was terrible, had a spider crawling across the wall. The shower curtain was nasty/smelly and the towels. My second room had a rusty toilet and rust around the tub drain. My third seemed sub par until I reached for a towel and the whole rack fell, only inches from my foot. I ended having to spend extra money to get cleaning supplies to disinfect and clean. I would not recommend this hotel at all. This building needs to shut down and condemned. The staff was ok. They all seemed very nonchalant which I guess matches the deplorable conditions they have to work in. I am still waiting on a refund because this was absolutely horrible.

This is the dirtiest hotel ive ever stayed at. The soap from the people before us was still in the shower. There was some dirt clumps still on the shower wall. Mold everywhere. Wall paper stapled on, or scotch taped on. The #4 doesnt light up on the elevator. The pool room was extremely hot and once you got out there was a slime left on your body. Pulled back the sheet and there were crusty blood stains underneath. The balcony we never used because the door was dirty to open it. The tv sound cut out, off and on the entire time. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed with the condition of the property. Despite the promising pictures online, the reality was starkly different. The hotel felt practically abandoned, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. The walls in the room were visibly dirty and the overall ambiance was uncomfortable, with a pervasive smell of mustiness. It was disheartening to feel the need to clean just to feel at ease in the room. On a positive note, the service at the front desk was decent, with no issues to report there. However, the state of the rooms seriously detracts from the overall experience. The best aspect of this hotel is undoubtedly its location, which is ideally situated and convenient. I would recommend being prepared with your own cleaning supplies if you choose to stay here.

From the moment we checked in and used the lobby bathroom, it was evident that this hotel is awful. We told the maid they had no soap in the bathroom and as she jist stood there for 10 min of us checking in, her reply was \"I know\" and she didnt make a move to go fill it. Disgusting! When we got to our room, the matresses were completely stained and gross, the sink hadnt even been rinsed as there were CHUNKS of toothpast in it!

I stayed to be close to the airport for an early flight - the only issue I had was that the shuttle advertised as 24 hour didn't start until 8am and I had to be at the airport at 6am. First room had a bad odor. Staff quickly switched rooms. We arrived at breakfast latish and the food was lukewarm at best. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had to leave 1 day early unexpectedly late in the afternoon but didn't get charged. Plenty of parking. Room only cleaned once every 3 days. Room had refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Pool was unusable due to the musty smell. Advertised airport shuttle only runs 8:00 to 8:00 and my flight was at 6:00.

Was very quiet over a three night stay. Breakfast was good. Facility is in need of serious interior renovation. All in all it was worth the money.

Took one hour to check in. Feontdeak kept on saying we cannot check in as it is after 12 in night. Our flight got late and we were tired. Finally we entered our room at 1:30 in night.
Also no shuttle was there to get us from airport.

Don't stay here if cleanliness matters to you.

I checked in at 11 pm and was assigned room 216 I think. I went to the room and when I entered the bathroom, remnants of poop were still in the toilet, 4 pieces of twisted toilet paper were on the floor. I went back to the front desk and asked for another room that was clean. She gave me room 316 I think. I went to that room, walked in and the bed was unmade, sheets and comforter were as if two people had just gotten out of bed. I went back to the front dest asking again for a clean room. By this time I'm little upset because this is costing me sleep time as I had early morning meeting to attend. She gave me a room on the first floor. The bed was made and bathroom was clean. It did not have a hairdryer. I called front desk to ask for one. The housekeeper personnel brought a hair dryer immediately for which I was grateful and knew I had everything I needed to present myself for the morning meeting. The front desk personnel had been curious and helpful in resolving the problem. The carpets throughout the hotel and dirty and stained and smell badly. The hotel itself is well constructed using quality materials which have lasted well throughout the years and are solid even though dirty. The continental breakfast seemed to be a good one with eggs, bacon, French toast offered. I did not eat there. I did not get coffee because I don't like the idea of coffee from a machine.

The first room we were in was really misty , furniture and bed were damp to the touch .
Was moved to another room which was fine .Had issues with the door actually latching and locking
And can. Or
Get the tv to work.
