Good for an overnight stay but the room that we booked on Expedia was unavailable when we can to check in. The room itself was ok but we only I had one towel. The halls however were filled with garbage and used towels and blankets and it smelled heavily of chlorine.

upon entry of my room, I had to push with my shoulder to open the door being stuck and broken. the carpet was super dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the bed side lamp was laying on the floor and broken at the base if it wasn't as late as it was I would have for sure asked to chang rooms

Not a very good experience at this hotel. The first room we had had a very strange smell, the second room we had the phone was not working, it had a nest on the ceiling, not sure if it was a spider nest, a wasps nest or an ant hill, on top of this we asked for the room to be cleaned and put extra towels, it never happened. When I went to the front desk and asked for a Manager they said she was gone for the day, the assistant Manager came and asked what was going on, I explained to her and said that we had to put our name in order for the room to be cleaned, when I showed her the nest on the bathroom ceiling she then changed her tone, she gave us another room this would be the 3rd time but the bathroom was dirty we had to put a towel in the tub in order to take a shower. At check out time we asked again to see a Manager but no luck.

Truthfully, the staff was the only “great” part about the stay. We had few interactions but when we did they were polite, respectful & efficient. As far as the property goes, it was easy to find & the parking lot was spacious. The lobby area wasn’t welcoming, it looked “abandoned.” Not bright, just eerie. The hallways were dimly lit, there wasn’t any “vending” despite having labels on the walls (at least on the 2nd floor there wasn’t.) The room was a disaster. Stains and hair on one of the double beds. Dents and dings on the walls, hair in the tub & on the walls. The sink AND the tub both didn’t drain. The lamp had one out bulb, and one was flickering. The television remote was sticky. The door stopper was also broken off. All in all, we had to make it work as it was a late night arrival in between travel days. However, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Very dark hotel lights in room very dim lights in hallway dim felt like u was in a dungeon 1 lamp light didn't work paid $200 for room then they charge u $100 deposit say u get it back at check out that was a lie no free breakfast so $300 for 1 night no breakfast hell u can easily find a hotel for $130 with breakfast the windows faces other rooms so if ur on a high floor u can look into other people's rooms I thought that was a bit odd I won't be going back save ur money I dont recommend this hotel

Didn't like, youth soccer teams playing soccer near pool in full view of front desk, we had to literally dodge balls and running kids to get in and out of our room staff did nothing. Air conditioner didn't work unless you put it on 61* then it worked... for ten whole minutes.

Not our first Wyndham stay but by far the worst. Steer away from Wyndham Garden Westlake, trust me. Way understaffed, lacking maintenance on everything, ie ceilings, walls, elevators and floors. Pool water cleanliness poor, hotub temp our first day was as cool as the pool, no pool towels both days,had to ask for them at the front desk. In fact, front desk Wyndham associate Gabriel was an absolute professional. Her gracious hospitality helped us and I'm sure others, get needed towels, sheets/blankets and soap products for our room. Will find a better place to stay in that area for future visits. Advise you to do the same.

When we arrived in our room, the air conditioner didn’t work nor did the phone. Maintenance came and they were absolutely no help. Basically we were told this is as good as it gets in respect to the air. No attempt was made to fix the phone because it would involve possibly moving a bed. There was peeling paint in the bathroom and in the room. The rooms are very dark too. The saving grace was that the front desk employee (Desiree)was super nice and tried to help us. Finally, the hotel advertises that they have a restaurant and that they serve breakfast and other meals but when we were there, the restaurant was closed for all meals. I would pass on this one.

Everything started out great when my girlfriend and I first arrived. This was a birthday present for myself and also a getaway trip from work/home life. I was so excited to be able to use a hot tub because of the type of work I do when I went downstairs around 6 PM to use the hot tub there was a family with 8 kids in the hot tub with four adults now hey I get it but when there’s a sign behind you that says no children under 18 and you have little children with Floaties on who can’t even swim that’s dangerous not to mention it’s rude. The next day, my girlfriend went down to the staff and told them how upset we were that we couldn’t even use that hot tub because they stayed in it all night. They went back and reviewed the footage and seeing that there were children in there and got very upset because it can hurt their bodies. They said they did make it up and switch our room to a nicer room. I don’t know I feel like that really didn’t have anything to do with the problem, but it was so nice and they gave us two free complementary breakfast tickets but then the next night we were able to use it and then we went and ate and then by the time we came back those same people and the kids were back in the hot tub, so I said something again so all in all it really wasn’t that bad if they just paid more attention to the people that are swimming in the pool and hot tub

I was very disappointed in my stay at the Wyndham Gardens in Westlake, OH. I was issued a room (by an aggressively unfriendly employee, I might add) that appeared as if it hadn't been used in months. It was actually dusty and there were only sheets on my bed, no other bedding. My room looked onto an inside atrium (vs. the outdoors) so it was also exceptionally poorly lit - which actually might have been a good thing, I wasn't able to see how dirty it was! Besides convenience to the event I was attending, I have nothing positive to say about this property. I will not be staying here again.

I stayed 2 nights in room 219. Room and bathroom was not clean. There was no hair dryer in the room and the hotel reception told me that they would call maintenance but I was unlikely to get one “anytime soon”. The bathroom toilet was dirty when I first walked in. The hot breakfast was not available on Memorial Day morning… the list goes on. Hotel is full on the weekends but their service must keep up the cleanliness and staff availability.

Upon arrival only 2 housekeeping staff on duty and our room was late being ready. Entering the room, we noticed the sheer drapes wete torn and tattered and the air conditioning unit was not functioning properly with a horrible noise. The bed was not firm and the other guests noisy. We checked out the next day...2 days early. Not recommended this property. There is a reason the previous owner...Hilton lost its rating. Do not pay for this facility. It is not worth the money. It clearly photographs well. But when you get there, you're welcome by the smell of what I'm assuming is mold. Very underwhelming experience. Quite a letdown. The room was dirty, multiple stains everywhere, including the sheeting we're supposed to sleep on. The shocker is how the towel rack fell apart as we were taken off a towel. It was barely hanging and closet door handles were swinging and broken. Human hair was stuck to the walls of the shower.
Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Again, I would expect this at a motel, not a hotel this level. And certainly not for the ticket price that we paid.

Will not repeat this experience again.

My room had a row of half-full glasses outside the door. There was someone’s shower cap bonnet left in the bathroom and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were half used. There were no sheets on the bed, only comforter to skin. The air conditioning was the loudest unit I’ve ever heard. They were charging $12 for the breakfast. The pool was incredibly murky. The mattresses were undoubtedly original to the hotel. I could feel every spring. The hotel is cheap for a reason. When I was going to my car, in the morning, an employee asked me if my car door was left open all night as they were told it was. I didn’t notice anything stolen from it though.

Check in went ok. Agent was kind but hotel is run down and you could tell even at check in. Main elevator was down. Finally got Got to our room.... bed looked slept in, and black hairs all over the tub, floor and sink. Drains obviously didn't work so the water backed up with even more hair. Absoutely disgusting.
We lowered our number of nights and promptly checked out. No one was at the front desk for over 20 minutes. We are still having issues getting anyone to reply and return our money. Manager approved the short stay and still having issues. Will never return. Choose some place else folks. Do yourself a favor.

In the midst of getting a refund for one day of a 5 day stay. Couldn't stay any longer because the room was too gross~unclean.
The front desk Gabby, asked for housekeeping to do a deep clean, but they did not do so.
Toilet paper roll fell off wall, towel holder fell off wall, but the dust, dirt in the room was just gross.
Very sad. When I stayed at Fairfield Inn at Chattanooga on the way back home, I was thrilled at how clean it was.
This is a management problem. Gabby was wonderful, she needs management to step up!

I picked this hotel excited about the hot tub. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hot tub was out of service and blocked off. Pool water was cold. I had a poolside room and the door key lock did not work from the pool side, only the outer hallway. Not well maintained. The restaurant onsite was really good. You can tell they tried to fix up the hotel at one point but didn't do a great job. I skipped the shower because the bathroom was kind of dingy.

Our first night at this location on Thursday was like youbwere in a motel 6. All we heard was loud people having a Good time( if you know what I mean). Then on Fiday morning got woke up by loud screaming that kept getting louder and louder after calling the front desk things calmed down. Really was afraid that something bad was going to happen. We got the place based on price, and were only passing through for the night. We checked in just fine. Nothing too exciting to report there. The elevator smelled like cigarette smoke, but it was quick and fast. There was music blasting from the pool area, but as soon as we got into our room, it was quiet. I think that was one of the very few positive things about this place: it was really really quiet once you got into the room. The room itself was not swept up. There were some paper shredding on the ground along with a couple finger nails that obviously missed the garbage. The floor was dark so it was really visible that it wasn’t cleaned up. The whole room was just really outdated and dark. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner, but we were tired and as long as we didn’t find any signs of bedbugs (or really any bugs for that matter), we were fine for just the few hours we needed to sleep.

Overall, service and cleanliness was subpar. I stayed for 7 nights and only requested my room be cleaned one time. They did not change sheets. The only supplies that were restocked were towels. No coffee cups or creamer, no plastic cups, no toiletries, only one roll of toilet paper, no tissues. One day when requesting a box of tissues I was told they didn't have any!
The bathroom cleaning was sloppy as well. Thick layer of dust in the bathroom vent. Bathtub stopper was broken so the water continued to drain. The bathtub was beat up. The couch and floor needed to be vacuumed. Several lamps but they did not provide adequate lighting. Mini frig was very small and did not have a freezer section. Furniture, carpet and curtains were old, worn and outdated as well.
No room service and you had to order food at the bar. The kitchen closed at 8:30! The phones in the rooms did not work .
Skeleton staff. My key got deactivated one day prematurely and I had to wait in a long line due to only one person at the front desk most of the time.
The elevators were sluggish and at times didn't work. There was a faulty fire alarm early one morning around 6 AM and the noise was deafening! It was a false alarm due to the hotel's faulty fire system.
The hot tub was not hot. A couple of times there were no clean towels by the pool but instead a large pile of used ones. When leaving the pool area one day there was a pile of feces right by the exit gate! Overall very disappointed!

When we first arrived to the room we noticed large white stain on the couch cushion. We had no blanket on our bed. The body wash in the shower had been half used. The bathroom floors needed to be swept and mopped. The air conditioner made loud noises. Overall the room wasn't very clean. We left after about 30 minutes.

Awful. Chlorine smell on one side of the hotel. Didn’t even stay for breakfast because the rooms were dirty including the bathroom. We changed rooms and at the same price the room had less stuff like furniture. There was an offer to have us switch rooms for a third time but no offer for an upgrade or points. They wouldn’t even see the rooms and clean them because they said the cleaning staff went home. Old and dusty fixtures and furniture. Torn ottomans in the lobby. Just an awful mess of a hotel.

Im sure this isn't indicative of a normal stay at this hotel. with that said, on this particular night, the fire alarm went off 2x in room and hotel several hrs apart overnight. the sound was excruciating and it took forer, 15 to 25 minutes , if not longer, for the overnight staff to turn off which made for a horrible rest and my ears are still ringing 12 hrs later

This was the worse stay I’ve ever had, a hotel from hell! I had to move rooms 5 TIMES!!
I checked in and went to the first too and it had broken nails in the bed and crumbs. The bathroom was dirty. Comment to front desk and she personally walked me threw 3 more rooms only to find things wrong with each room as well so she upgraded me to a suite however at night we went to turn the ac down and the ac was broke the room was hot as hell this was at 1am! I went to the front desk and I even had the security guy go into the room and check the ac and he told us it was in fact broke so we had to move for 5th time at 1am!! We finally got settled for the night only to be woken up at 6am to the fire alarm blaring!! I will never stay here again would never recommend it to anyone my opinion it should be shut down!!!

I have stayed at this property previously multiple times without issue and was looking forward to this trip. There were two large parties occurring at this hotel during our stay. We went up to the room from the pool around 9pm to get ready for bed and quickly realized there was a room party occurring directly next to us. By 10pm the noise had not subsided and the traffic in and out of the room was increasing. My 4 year old daughter and I went down to the front desk to request a room change as we needed to be up at 6am the following day and needed to sleep. The woman working the front desk, Latisha, was exceptional. She found a room for us immediately and apologized profusely for our experience. Her assistance with finding a solution quickly is the primary reason I didn’t pack our things and go down the street to another hotel. She was the bright spot of our stay.

Unfortunately, after this experience (loud, pool overrun with unsupervised toddlers which is incredibly dangerous, rooms in poor condition) I will not book at this property again. So disappointed to see how much the property has declined in the last couple of years.

From beginning to end, our experience was awful. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but only stayed one because we couldn’t sleep there 2 nights. From uncleanliness to no blanket for our kids to use on the pull out to security not coming up to check on the people next to us who were fighting and cussing at 3:30am to the pool being closed because of repairs when nothing was told to us about that at check in. The whole rep smelled terrible. There were lines each time we went to the front desk of people complaining. We will never stay in another Wyndham hotel.

There is a distinct odor near room 427. The bathroom floor-sticky. There was no blanket or duvet on the bed. There were iil fitting sheets. When we asked over and over again for a blanket we were told: be right up and also on other occasions that there are none. The filter in the bathroom doesn’t function and is an excellent dust collector. The bathroom mirror had two burned out lights. This was not the room I reserved. Worst room ever. Get it together. Be better. Families go there and deserve to be respected more. The staff was inadequate.

I paid about $200 for a private room for a swimming pool. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there are no rooms. I waited about 45 minutes. I took the room. It is not opposite the pool and not clean. Unfortunately, knowing that I have young children. When I changed the room, the same thing is not clean, especially the floor with strange things and the covers look not new. That's not what I was looking for.

The rooms weren't clean, hair in the shower stained sheets and towels. The sink leaked, the towel rack and toilet paper holders were broken. Cookies on the ground outside the entrance. Absolutely not worth the money.

Bath dirty, floor caving in, no ac, no towels, microwave dirty, very horribly smelling chlorine smell. I am thankfully they did allow me to stay the night with out being charged for the night and then I left with out being charged my other nights. Staff was very professional and how they handled accommodating for the issues. Also you will have to wait for staff to be able to handle any of the issues that I had that I needed fixed immediately since I was with younger children and the chlorine and no ac caused me to have issues with burning in my eyes but again very professional staff in the front end and allowing no charge for the night.

Overall a nice experience. There were two issues with our room. The bathroom sink had its stopper sunken in and stuck. Next the AC was not working. I alerted the desk and they did fix it in a timely manner. So while it was mildly inconvenient at first they did a great job fixing the problems.

This property has gone down hill. It’s just not like it used to be years ago. The rooms are very out dated. When i got Into my room the beds were poorly made. There was a half eaten candy bag inside the chair. There was press on nails underneath the bed. They have extension cords running underneath the beds. Our phone didn’t work. Couldn’t get any extra towels because they barely have workers to bring any up. No ice bucket in room. TERRIBLE STAY

The pool and hot tub water were extremely cloudy, there was unknown hairs in our bathroom, toiletries were basically water, tub backed up, sink backed up, only a sheet on the bed (no comforter), visible fingerprints and smudge marks on door knobs, windows and mirrors, curtains were stained, request for room to be cleaned and fresh towels was ignored, room service line was busy for hours (never got through) Will not stay here again.

Would NEVER stay here again! The shower had hair still in it from whoever stayed in the room before me. I payed for early check in thinking I would be able to relax and enjoy my stay and that didn’t happen. 2 different birthday parties where going on at the same time! The pool was so filthy and dirty and had 30 kids in it. Me and my children couldn’t even get in it. There were no clean towels in the pool area. In the pool ended up having to be shut down and closed due to maintenance needing to be done on it after everyone else got to use it. The hot tub had cold water shooting out of the jets so I couldn’t enjoy that either. One of the worst places I have ever stayed. It was a complete disaster and waste of money!!!

Entire hotel seemed very clean and well taken care of. We also liked that the staff was attentive in the pool/hot tub area and made sure that anyone under the age of 18 wasn't in the hot tub when they weren't supposed to be. Much easier to relax when you don't have to deal with kids that aren't supposed to be in there to begin with splashing around and screaming. Would definitely stay here again.

The room on surface looked clean. Once I pulled back the curtains I saw cobwebs and debris. There was hair in the shower and dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor. The microwave was also dirty. The water in the shower was lukewarm at best.

The pool was nice and the kiddo loved it. Staff was super friendly and nice, the only issue was some cleanliness of the property, could use better attention in the bathrooms and hallways. Other than that great inexpensive place to stay
