It was disgusting. The mattress was filthy, had stains lots like blood, and fecal matter. Peeling paint above bed that you are supposed lay under and breathe in while you sleep. Dishwasher had a note inside that said it was out of order. Chirping microwave unless completely unplugged.

The lobby stank. The corridor carpets were dirty. The oven was dirty. They had the nerve to have a posted sign about their 10 point room safety/cleanliness inspection completed on the room.

I wrote a full review about this o. Yelp 24 hours ago. I was embarrased and upset about the hotel. Extended Stay America in Middleburg Heights Ohio, harns the Extended Stay America brand name. I paid for 3 days, exhausted from grief and the funeral of our beloved grandmother. The children even recognized how poor the accommodations were.

Absolutely not as advertised. Not like the pictures where they make it appear clean, not health hazzard. Even when I reported the disgust and had the hotel staff come view the room, We were switched to the only other family room they claimed to have available. That room had broken microwave, smelled, and a dirty old stove. You could see rust around the cook top, and the oven was dirty.

I want all of my money back. My \" Public Service Announcement is that you do not Extend your Stay at the Extended Stay America. I posted pictures on Yelp that substantiate our deplorable experience. It was a nightmare. In humane environment, not fit for an animsl, much less a human

The room was clean, however the dishwasher had a note that it was out of order. The knob’s on the stove had no marking to know what temperature you were cooking on. Sofa bed mattress was awful and shouldn’t be listed as an option for someone to sleep on.
The staff was very friendly and the area felt safe. The elevator made a loud bang when going down but staff stated it was safe and being worked on.

This was a poor stay. The beds were not comfortable, the hide a bed couch was so uncomfortable my 9 year old chose an air mattress instead. The hotel has an awkward layout. The check in was slow. I would not stay here again.

The carpets looked dingy the bathroom floor and Kitchen floors had linoleum like floors and they hadn’t been mopped or cleaned because we took a wet rag and rubbed the floor and it was black from all the dirt on the floor the hallways and stuff smelt musky

Well the overall stay was ok. The property should actually revamp and actually have a mini breakfast. What they consistitute as a breakfast is literally auffin and some coffee.also didn't care for the fact I checked in for one night and although the room they gave me was infact very spacious, having to fill up ice trays for 1 night seemed idiotic,we ended up going to dollar general down the street . But really wish they had ice machine .overall 3 stars

This place was nasty! I have a one year old and two year old….. I basically made my baby stay in her pack n play since I didn’t want her crawling on the nasty floor and kept telling my two year old “stop touching that” lol……Thank god this was just a random stop while on our roadtrip and we just used this hotel to sleep. When booking this, I was aware this wasn’t anything fancy. But I have a problem when I see crumbs on the counters, sticky smudges on every surface & questionable bed cleanliness. The only thing we really liked was how big it was. Full size fridge and it’s not your average sized hotel room. But the dirtyness that was left behind kind of over shines any good. Also, they advertise breakfast but there is none. Which I probably wouldn’t of even wanted after how dirty this place is! lol

Anyways to leave off on a positive note, the staff was friendly!

My wife and I ended up with a suite that we didn't need but it was the last room available. So with that being said the kitchen looked like it was last updated in the seventies because of the cabinets and countertops. However although we didn't use anything except the refrigerator it seemed to be all very clean and functional. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean but again dated and only came with a bar soap and a small bottle of shampoo no other amenities.

Friendly service, couch bed was broken in my room, and ceiling vents could use a good wipe down. I liked the fact that my room was like a small apartment. Full kitchen off set living room and bedroom section. Just have to bring your own kitchen essentials. Other than that I will be returning!

The loading process is simply frustrating with broken cheap cartswhen people pay more than enough money and they should have simple doorstoppers for people. Needs better customer service and better cleaning.Some people were awesome.Some people were not. .

The leadership was disappointing and the whole the trolley process was simply frustrating. I'm a very optimistic person. So the week became unnecessary and then to not receive a reimbursement.

The hotel needs updating really bad. The rooms need cleaned a lot better than they are being. Need to leave enough towels and rags for the amount of people that are staying. Need to offer more breakfast items and replenish till time the breakfast time is done, including drinks.
Just a thought, maybe your extended stay people or permanent stays don't get the breakfast. Let it be for your hotel stays only, even if you have to give them tickets for the breakfast.

The bathroom was nice, but the drain didn’t work well. The room was spacious, but had no coffee pot, nor coffee. Also, someone in the adjacent room was smoking and we smelled the smoke all night long. Outside, you could smell marijuana and cigarettes smoke. A LOT of it. It was okay, but for the price we expected a lot more.

It was a mixed bag of good and bad. The bed and the room was spacious. The carpet was dirty and old. We have no utensils at all, unless you went downstairs and purchased them. The elevator was very sketchy. There was something wrong with the hydraulics and there was a huge bump/bag just before the 2nd floor. I told the front desk about it. Others who stayed there said it was a frequent problem and that the elevator shook sometimes. Would I stay again? Only if I couldn't find another reasonable hotel in the area.

There was a lot of room. Which was so nice since we had a newly crawling child. The full size fridge and kitchen was great to have. The floors were very dirty though. We had to put down flat sheets and blankets for the little one to be able to play. Breakfast is a joke. There is no pool. The hallways in the second floor always had a strange smell from people cooking. The people at the desk were very nice. I have mixed feelings about this place. I don't know if we would stay here again.

Glad it wasn’t an extended stay

Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast is coffee, muffins and instant oatmeal. The bathroom sink in the room leaked onto the floor; we didn’t realize this until we had already settled into the room. We were offered a different room but decided to stay and just put towels on the floor. The oven/stove in the kitchenette was worthless, the oven barely reached around 300 degrees and the stove couldn’t boil water. Also, I could never turn the oven off, no matter how I turned the knob. When I complained I was told that the ovens don’t get very hot because it’s a fire hazard. That would have been nice to know before I bought frozen French fries. :-( Went to the fitness room, the treadmill didn’t work. A three-night stay was too long, I couldn’t imagine staying longer.

I loved the sign that read \" no smoking within 100 ft of window or door of the building. If caught a $250 fine\" Appon arrival there was multiple people right in the walkway of the entrance of the building that I had to walk through their smoke. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at an extended stay. We will never stay at one again. The owner of all extended stays should cut his losses and burn every extended stay down. Absolutely filthy and disgusting.

The night time employ was very helpful at check in and when we needed extra items. 10 of 10 for his professionalism.

The staff was great at this site especially since we were a large group of 15. They were super friendly and willing to help when we had a mishap with the names on the room reservations (must be 21 to book this resort). They were very accomodating with extra blankets and towels. The rooms were very spacious it felt like we had our own apartment with a full kitchen and small living area. The downside to this resort was the upkeep and the breakfast. The resort is spacious but its cleanliness was questionable. The grate of our AC unit had crumbs of food and fake nails in it, the floor was sticky, the fridge/freezer were not wiped down from the previous guest and we could tell because there was popsicle juice in the freezer, and the pull out bed was very stained. The amenities in the rooms were a little dated and our microwave did not work (it would beep at random rates and times even though no one touched it, we had to unplug it) and for the 3 rooms that we had there was a different model of TV in each room. Of these TVs 2 worked and one of which was of very poor clarity. Breakfast at this hotel is in the main lobby and it consists of a prepackaged muffin, hot water, and coffee. There were packets that you could use for hot chocolate or oatmeal. Breakfast hours are 6:30 AM to 9:30AM so be up early. Just a heads up if you are planning on having multiple rooms they did not adjoin.

A VERY SUPER HOTEL & VERY AFFORDABLE!!! *****

Took some time to get checked in as the front desk employees spoke very very limited english & it was extremely difficult to get an understanding of what he was trying to say & ask of me... Once we got through that, everything else I encountered was fantastic & over my expectations!!! Room was 100% a home type of environment with a stove, fridge, dishwasher, sink, a nice bar on the other side & this would be nice for a longer stay, other than one night... Made for a travel person who works on the road & has to stay in that area for a few days!!! I have nothing but high regards for this place & will look into the property again next year, when I take my yearly trip to Stromgsville, OH!!!

We stayed to sleep only. Breakfast was coffee, tea, oatmeal packets, granola bars, and prepackaged muffins…majority were blueberry. The room was clean, however needs major maintenance. No utensils or dishes. We had an extra guest…a huge cockroach! We smashed it and didn’t encounter any other. The pull out mattress was stained yellow so one of the guests slept on the sofa only. No phone in the room to front desk. The entire place needs an upgrade. Crazy thing is that there were 3 work vans and a cargo van with “Terminix” on them in the parking lot. Hope they were working and not just staying there.

This place was full sketchy people. The room was falling apart everywhere. They have roaches and bed bugs. We left the second day because we seen roaches and bed bugs. The front desk clerk illegally asked me for proof of my service animals and everyone knows that is against the law. The night clerk that I showed the bed bug to acted like he didn’t have a clue what to do and told me to wait until the morning. I was not sleeping another second in that room with my family. I will never stay here again. They are the worse. If I could give no stars I would.

Ro start the property and walk ways w we're not plowed. Check in went smoothly until I got into the room. Smelled like nasty food and air/heat was stuck on cold. Kitchen counter top was coming off the wall. So I switched rooms. Second room was dirty and noisy as well. Rooms have kitchen but no house wanted to cook or dine on. They do not offer coffee makers or any drinks in your room as well. It's ok if your just staying for a night or two. Just not for me.
