No the kitchen was missing items and the dishes were dirty in the 3 rooms I had to be moved to because of filty conditions. I just had a mastectomy and going thru breast cancer treatment. I expected a clean and safe environment. It was awful. By the time I went from my original room then to 2 more, it was 2 hours later. It was stressful

This room needs updating, holes in sheet, doors need attention, had no hot water for three days, dirty dish in microwave, some sheets were dirty, chair was broken, tub was dirty, blinds need replaced! Have pictures for proof! Front desk attendant was argumentative about the hot water situation. Asked them to go to room when checked out so they can see the hot water problem and refused!

It was super easy to check in…they do require a $100 deposit that I wasn’t aware of until checking in. The room was very spacious!! The bed was very comfortable!!! I loved the kitchenette!! My only two complaints would be that the TV was a pain to get on the cable, and I could tell that they didn't clean the toilet at all! Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay!

Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. They always had fresh coffee downstairs when i woke in the morning. The sidewalks were cleared and salted for safety and the parking lot was plowed quickly. I had full control of my room temperature.

Room smelled but the worst part was the bed. The sheets where stained and looked like they had not been washed. There was hair in the bed. It was so gross we went somewhere else.

Also, was told I could not have a refund as a manager had to approve it so I'll be calling tomorrow to get it. Not worth $107 for one night.

We went for a one night family trip to Ohio from Michigan. I was expecting for the hotel to be just okay. But to our surprise Mainstay was clean and most importantly smells clean. I recommend and will definitely booked it again if we comeback to the area. I recommend you brinf your own toiletries. I.did anticipate for it while i was booking for a $90/night stay. There's fridge, microwave and range. Bring your own hair dryer too.

Walked into the room and the broiler for the oven was broken off just laying on the floor…
There was blood or something close on the all drapes, black mold all over and dripping down the mirrors in the bathroom which is literally a health hazard. Someone BURNT A HOLE thru the microwave…. The dishes were not clean at all and clearly just placed back into the cabinet. Bathroom shower curtain was ripped and patched. Entire hotel smelt like weed and there was a lingering weird smell in the room itself. If I could give this zero stars I would. I expect a full refund and will be following up until I receive that. Completely unacceptable.

Gosh, I have stayed here many times. Gave them pass after pass for odd things like the TV not working, forgot to clean the room, dirty sheets, etc. Now I’m done. Never again will I spend a dollar here. All previous passes in one stay PLUS I paid for a bigger room but the cleaners live in them so obviously we can’t have them, but we can pay for it. They’ll say my mistake whilst taking your money. The fake spray to cover up the smell should’ve told me all I needed to know. Bumpy beds with dirty laundry is what you crave! Pick this hole in the wall.

The room was spacious. Kitchen was sufficient. Everything was pretty clean. Linens and pillows were very nice. Plenty of hangers and places to put clothing and such. There was a TV in the living room and each of the bedrooms. A/C was great. They were also able to put my son in a room right across the hall from us, which was perfect.

Only things I could complain about were that the phone did not work, the extra fan they brought me didn't work, and the water smelled very strongly of chlorine. Oh, and the task chair at the desk was dangerous to sit in.

Otherwise, the room was lovely. :)

I looked at the reviews ahead of time and I hope we got a fluke of a fail for the room and floor we were given.

The 3rd floor of building B smelled like sweaty body oder as we stepped off the elevator.

Our room smelled worse, it smelled of old cigarettes and Marijuana. (We were told it was a non-smoking room) No other rooms were available to meet our needs per the front desk.

The AC units throughout the room were hit and miss if the wall controller worked or the controller on the unit worked. It was back and forth.

Our kitchen wasn't a need but dangerous as the drain was missing out of the sink and exposed the garbage disposal that was full of mold.

The bathroom was missed after the last cleaning, toilet showed evidence of last users #2. The shower had loose dirt and dead bugs in it.

I hope it was a fluke based off what others said but we wont be back and we are in the Cleveland/Lakewood area at least a few times a year.

In our room, the fridge worked the first day, then would not cool or work after that. (could not make ice either). There were ants inside the fridge and on the counters, too. I bought ant traps, which seemed to help.
To be fair, I was working long hours and was unable to reach the front desk when I did return, so did not report the problem until check out. Front desk made a note and said they would take care of it for the next guest.
I return to this hotel this upcoming weekend, and had requested a different room.

The room was clean but an unpleasant odor lingered in the room, I couldn’t tell if it was the soap or something the maids used for cleaning but they should use more odor neutral cleaning products. Also the soaps in the bathroom were equally malodorous and left me with dry skin I recommend bringing your own soap if utilizing this hotel. Everything else was fine the room was clean the staff was friendly, and the coffee was good .

Facility needs upgrade. Room was not as clean as I like, mirrors in bath had not been cleaned well. Property is quiet, we slept well but the rooms need to be upgraded to include USB ports on electrical plugs instead of the old phone connectors. Also a remote for each of the TV sets, instead of just 1 remote for 3 TVs.

Older hotel with poor remodeling. Room was spacious and accommodations were nice. Room was not clean. Only place that I didn’t have socks on was in the hotel room and they were so dirty they left prints in the tub when I got in. Found a dirty pan in the stove and sticky spot on the carpet. With a little TLC rooms could be great. Seems like the housekeeping staff need a refresher!

If you are looking for hotel amenities, you won't find any here. This is a bare-bones kind of place. You get 1 roll of toilet paper at a time (other than the roll on the wall). You can't ask for extra towels; you only get new towels if you bring them the used towels (there are 2). If you want hot water to take a shower, you need to call the front desk and have them turn it on. There are only 2 small garbage cans in the kitchen and bathroom. There is only 1 box of Kleenex in the bathroom. There is a very small bottle of generic 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner and a small bar of soap on the shower and the bathroom sink. There is no dish soap only 1 dishwasher tablet. And there are only 2 of each kind of dish and silverware stocked in the kitchen (dinner plate, dessert plate, bowl, mug, and glass; fork, spoon, and knife). Oh, and I would check those dishes before you eat off of them, ours were dirty! Also, there are stains everywhere, on the curtains, carpet, furniture, and bedding. And the rooms smelled... I don't even know how to describe it, but it was not pleasant. And lastly, he mattress in the master bedroom was decent, but in the other room, the mattress was substandard. It was also very dim in the rooms due to bad placement of lamps and lighting fixtures on the wall or ceiling. And some of the lamps were even missing lightbulbs, so they did not work. Do yourself a favor and spend a little bit extra to stay at something better, like a Residence Inn by Marriott.

I booked 2 rooms. 1 of them smelled so bad of fish we couldn't even stay. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower had hair all over the ceiling and the floors were not mopped. The oven was filled with grease.

The other room was acceptable but the bathroom definitely needed more cleaning. The floor needed mopped and the bathtub was not clean.

This hotel provides minimum amenities. No breakfast, tiny bottle of shampoo no conditioner.

It's dated, but if cleaned better it could be nice.

Front desk staff was very good. The location is good and the area around the facility is good and seems safe and convenient. Parking was easy and convenient. The only deficiencies were the kitchen in the room which was dirty and required cleaning by me to be usable, and the room had a strange odor which never abated. I even bought an air freshener but it didn't help.

The property manager accused us of smoking when we were not she entered our room and started going through our belongings , when confronted she stated she could, she would not close the hotel room so my boyfriend could get dressed and tried to make him come out the bathroom naked ,after
Not finding anything she proceeded to call the cops for another issue, after speaking to the cops they told me that this is a common issue at this hotel , and told me to proceed with legal action in civil court.

The toilet handle fell off and to stop the toilet from running you had to remove the lid and adjust the stopper manually. Most everything was dirty. We notified the desk, left for four hours, came back, and nothing had been addressed. We requested a refund and checked in at a different hotel.

It could be a nice hotel, but I don’t think it gets cleaned in between guests. My bedding was clean, but that was the only thing thankfully there were crumbs on the floor in the kitchen, a dirty pan in the oven, and the bathtub was obviously dirty. The room I chose online was not listed as handicap, the room we was given was for a Handicap person. The oven door was broken, there was food crumbs all.in the kitchen and under counter, the curtains was dirty, the couch had some type of white substance on it. The pots and pans had old food on them. I have never experienced this before at this establishment. My stat has always been great until now.
