Hotel came highly rated and is not a budget hotel. With above in mind we had several complaints. Lightning not user friendly and was either all on or off. Sink/toilet/shower area very tight more suitable to single traveler. Toilet ventilation did not function. Sink has cabinet protruding into sink making use of sink difficult. On 15th floor street noise was bothersome.

This little hotel is in a great location except that it is on a hill making it difficult to walk with luggage from the train station.

Very close walking distance to Hong Kong station for the airport express and also the central line subway. The personal hot spot Wi-Fi they give you is a huge help for sightseeing. Lobby decorated for Christmas with Harry Potter was awesome.

A convenient spot for exploring central Hong Kong on foot. Located off D'Aguilar Street, a popular night entertainment spot with lots of bars and restaurants. Despite that, the room was tranquil. The area felt really safe and friendly, like most of Hong Kong.

Stayed here for 3 days. Staff is friendly. Location was convenient. Walking distance for dining, shops, and public transportation to where you need to go to. At night this area is very lively. We stayed on the 20th floor and you can faintly still hear the outside festivities going on. Didn’t bother us much cause at the end of our day we were to tired from our day going about the city. There are 2 rooms per floor and the room sizes is descent for 2 people. We rented 4 rooms for our family during our stay and had no issues. I would go back when visiting Hong Kong again.

This hotel was a great find! The location in LKF couldn't be better for accessing the area's restaurants and bars. The room, while compact (as expected in HK), was spotless and perfect for our needs as a central hub. For the price, it's definitely the best value we encountered, and we wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

I did arrive earlier than 3pm and since it was possible to check in earlier I took it.
I got a room for handicapped ♿️ which I would be ok but there was literally no space on this room besides the bed. Extremely ridiculous small room.
I complained about this and not a single gesture was made.
There is no water on the room so either tab water or take a floor lift to get water ( guys make an effort and place some jar with water ).
Bed was okayish and room was cleaned.
But the noise? Unbearable. I only slept 2h due to all the bars and people on the street and I was placed on the 9th floor...
For the value paid I felt robbed.
There is no breakfast, no coffee, no water, 10m2 room... staff irresponsive to my complain.
No. I wont come back. No need to get one of those typical google reviews \" dear customer let us improve and come back again to show we improved. \"
No gentleman, i won't let you steal from me again.

The hotel staff were amazing and the property condition was great. But be aware this hotel is in the heart of soho so is quite noisy on the lower floors. However the upper floors are more comfortable and as long as you’re prepared for the level of noise from being in party central of Hong Long you’ll have a great time. We had a great stay, although we did ask to moved rooms after the first night. However based on the number of reviews that state this, this is really our fault not the hotels fault which is advertised as being in the heart of soho. If you’re looking to go out in LKF, great but probably not the best for family’s

It was close to everyhting on Hong Kong Island, but also off the path a bit. Tons of bars and nightlife nearby, but being on the 26th floor i never heard any of it.

The location of this hotel is perfect - a few minutes walk to Central Station and surrounded by tons of great eats and drinks. Yes, it's right in the heart of the main party/nightlife area but as long as you're on one of the higher floors (18+) then you don't really hear the commotion coming from the streets. The staff is very kind.
The shower design is horrible - our first one leaked so much that we had to move rooms. And then in our second room our shower still leaked as well. Carpet/furniture is very stained in both rooms we stayed in.

Fast check-in. Kind and efficient staff. Checked in 10 minutes to 2:00 pm so had to stay on a low floor (9th) with a handicapped room, would have preferred higher views. No more than two people can stay in these snug rooms. The shower was uncomfortably low and made a mess because there was no tub or barrier for the water. However, overall the stay was comfortable without noise issues or anything. Amazing central area for a day of being a tourist before a flight.

The design (boutique hotel) starting from my hotel room door is modern and edgy. The room is surprisingly spacious for its location and i got the room with a 4G portable Wifi device which is really helpful when navigating outside. Having just come from an aged hotel in the Wanchai area, checking into this one was like a breath of fresh air. And even though i stayed here on Sunday night in LKF, being on the twelfth floor i could not hear any noise from the ground so soundproofing is good too. Lastly the one con is that the hotel entrance on the ground can be a little hard to find so look out for the sign, and then take the elevator up to the 8th floor where the hotel lobby is located.

Prime location, located on one of the busiest bar streets in Hong Kong. So super convenient, I was hungry at 2am and got some Thai BBQ 2 mins walk from the hotel. Staff members are very very nice and polite.

Its located up the hill, quite tiring to walk back to the hotel after a long day shopping in HK. Worst when the cab is unwilling to drive all the way in. Famous food chains are just around the corner.

Hotel room was bigger than usual. 2 rooms per floor. Lobby/Front desk is on the 8th floor. 2 elevators. Although the hotel's location was good, the service was very disappointing. Check in time was at 2:00 pm. But at 3:30 pm, I still didn't have the room. No explanation. As a frequent traveler, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Location at center of Lan Kwai Fong was great. Restaurants and Bars abound. Walk up the road on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights though as D’Aguilar street where the hotel is at is closed to vehicles. We arrived on Thurs night and left Monday, so that was not a problem. No bell service. Daily cleaning service. Daily bottled water. Pocket wifi provided and that was convenient when out of the hotel. Hotel has no restaurant. Room is clean and well appointed. Although small, well thought of so does not feel cramp.

Very disappointing experience! Checked in at the evening and was told only 1 room left which is the handicapped guestroom! besides being told by the receptionist that the only difference was just the extra handrail in the bathroom, and in fact, the bathroom is meant to be for the handicapped guest, where mirror and sink are built very low, no extra door or curtain in the shower area, therefore the entire bathroom is all wet whenever showering! Further, the air-con in the room is designed in a way that blowing against your face when lie down in the bed! A very unpleasant experience!

Right in the middle of Lan Kwai Fong, this hotel is very conveniently located near the restaurants and bars in LKF and SoHo. The rooms are a very modern, minimalist design. The only slight negative was that check-in was a little tedious. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Butterfly on LKF Boutique 晉逸蘭桂坊精品酒店 中環 Hotel Central Hotel in Hong Kong. The place exceeded our expectations including a comfortable bed, clean and stylish room, wonderful showers, and cable television. We chose the place because it was near the subway Central and Hong Kong Stations. What made the place extremely memorable was their warm welcome and hospitality including free rentals to various travel items for the day including a giant power bank and portable hotspot device. The place was convenient located nearby touristy places including the Peak Tram, Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens Green House, and the Harbourfront. On the ground floor, the place is surrounded by nightlife but the room was far above the ground so that it's very quiet. All in all, we would love to stay there again and we would recommend it to our friends and family.

Only issue is the noise - I was staying on the top-most floors and still had my sleep disrupted from the music coming from the ground floor. If you're good with earplugs (provided) then it's not a big deal. I would stay again for the location, comfortable room and ease of stay.

Affordable and convenient
The staff were wonderful. You’re provided with ear plugs because you can still hear the thumping music from LKF even several stories above it. The rooms were comfortable enough but the air conditioning blows directly in your face as you sleep which is bothersome if you like to sleep with it on. It’s affordable and central which is convenient. Would stay here again for those reasons.
