The room was clean but it was very small-a bit too cramp for comfort. There were also few if any amenities. But it is conveniently located. I km walk to Central. Tram nearby. MTR not far and plenty of taxis. I had a particularly fortunate encounter with the manager Anthony who was extremely helpful during my stay. The check-in person Jason was also friendly and pleasant but there were also a couple of other employees who were not pleasant to deal with.

We enjoyed staying together the whole family in a 3 room suite. We had previously done so in the iClub Wanchai and iClub AMTD Sheung Wan and this one is the smallest of all. The sofa bed was in very bad shape and we had to put the mattress on the floor. The manager Antony tried to make amends by offering some small gifts but overall, the space was too cramp.

The washroom supplies are very poor.

For washroom supplies, we have only the toothbrush and the toothhpaste in pill form, very poor. Will try another hotel next trip to Hong Kong. This hotel is becoming old. There is only one USB outlet. All the power outlets are only in Hong Kong Style, and the hotel does not provide any help for converter. The point is, this is not suppose a cheap hotel in terms of prices, and yet the power outlets are not up to international standard. That is very disapointting. I know tha there are a lot of visitors trying to go out to buy converters at the midnight time, and of course they cannot find one!!

Room not as described, elevator waiting time is too long, waited 20 m in the morning. Overall I would def. look for other options. Don’t book the room 1 King, 2 Queen bed option, it does not exist, given a terrible sofa bed indeed. And they don’t accept refund and Expedia is being expedia ‘apologies but you booking is ….’ you know how it ends. Avoid pls

Convenient location. Hairdryer works for 3 mins, stops for 5min, then works for another 3 mins and cycle continues. Aircon not easy to control, sometimes hot, sometimes cold, so ended up falling sick during this biz trip

The Sheung Wan district is perfect to get a feel for Hong Kong. So, staying at iclub was perfect. And when all you are wanting is a clean and tidy hotel with a comfy bed, then there is no need to look any further than the iclub\. Stay and enjoy.

Oh boy, this is the tiniest hotel that I have ever been to. I reserved 2 twin sized bed room. We can barely fit in with 2 regular sized luggages. The toilet, the sink and the shower are all clustered into a square box. The layout is so tiny and I was told that our room is one of the two biggest rooms in the hotel. BTW, the hotel is next to the public restroom. We smelled everything unpleasant every time coming and going. I have been to HK for a few times and this was the worst experience in staying at a hotel in HK. I picked this hotel due to convenience to the harbor. I am sorry that I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location and reasonable price. Staffs are lovely and helpful. I will come back and stay here again. Rooms are well nice and clean. The only downside is the only power source is at the desk which is far away from the bed.

I have stayed at this property before . The employees are pleasant and helpful specially Arthur at the front desk and the night staff . Rooms are bright well laid out and location very convenient .

My favorite hotel in Sheung Wan

This is my favorite hotel in Sheung Wan. It's right in the middle of everything. Has comfortable beds and rooms, and friendly, helpful staff. I prefer this hotel to the newer iClub ATMD which is literally across the street -- the beds are more comfortable for me, and the rooms seem to be better designed. This one is often, but not always, a bit less expensive, too.

It's surprising nowadays for any hotel not to have a decent wifi connection. Unfortunately, this is the one. Wifi connection was constantly extremely poor almost anywhere in the hotel. Asked for help, but nothing improved. Eventually, had to upgrade the cell data plan to keep connected with the world...

Very minimalist but clean and efficient. The lifts are about the only negative as they only have 2 servicing 35 floors and they are rather slow. Apart from that just a good convenient place to stay. Basic with no frills but good value for money.

Room was fairly large, paid extra for the Queen size bed.

Pros:
Central City Center location
Mattress and pillows were comfy.
Water pressure in shower was good and hot. Strong Wifi.

Cons:
Washroom glass sliding door has significant gaps.
No Electrical Outlets close to the bed, only Electrical Outlets were on the desk far away.

The room is big and tidy. And i was luckily upgraded to a bigger double room. Thank you for the nice arrangements. The bed is a bit high but it's alright for us to reach it. Generically there are essentials unavailable for a short stay. The location is quite perfect as we are able to walk to IFC mall.

This is the first time I’ve stayed in this hotel. I was so lucky to have Irene (Assistant Sales Manager) who answered my phone and taught me how to get to this hotel. Irene is super nice, friendly and extremely patient. I really appreciate her hard work and excellent service!!!

Don't count on breakfast.

Breakfast is just croissants and coffee-- not even yougurt or fruit-- so just don't count on it. Also, there is no tea or coffee in the room-- one has to take rhe elevator to the lobby to get it. Other than that, no complaints and the lovation is super.

The locartion is good, easy walk to Sheung Tan MTR and ferry terminal. The room was not as small as I expected in Hong Kong, it didn't feel small at all. And it was, or at least seemed, clean.

On the downside only minor things: The lifts can misbehave sometimes until you get the knack, and breakfast is lacking in options (not a big issue for me but may be for others).

We upgraded to an ibusiness room on the basis of the picture for it online. In the advert for the room it showed a bed that you could get out of on both sides.

In reality we were given a room with a bed against the wall. This was not what we had booked. Staff on reception told us they had even upgraded us to this room! They were polite and I'm rubbish at complaining, they tried to move us to a room with access both sides but could only do it the next night. As we were only staying 2 nights we stayed were we were. We felt we'd paid too much and the room did not met our expectation. Not the end of the world but annoying and a waste of money for upgrading!

My stay at the iclub Sheung Wan Hotel was one of my worst client/guest experiences I have ever encountered. Front desk staff; and the manager I spoke to, were simply uncaring and unprofessional. Next, we reserved a room with one bed, but we were placed in a room with two single beds pushed together. This is acceptable, but both beds constantly and easily separated - why would the hotel think this was acceptable without having a system or design in place to keep this from happening? This was simply just one of several issues that we experienced during our stay and itself was not a serious problem. Again, the problem with this hotel is the horrible front desk staff - simply the worst I have ever experienced. Last, why would any hotel design a room where there was essentially no separation of the bathroom from the rest of the hotel room? Please note that for anyone reading this review there is only a thin sliding partition that separates the bathroom from the rest of the room which is already incredibly small. I would never recommend anyone stay at this hotel and will certainly avoid doing business with any other iclub Hotel in the future.

Well located boutique hotel in Sheung Wan and within close proximity to Central. Free airport shuttle bus to and fro from station is located close by. Good sized room with basic toilet amenities provided - slippers, toothbrush, comb, body and hair shampoo. Good hotel for a short stay.
