The hotel is easy to find and its location is convenient. However, Registration is actually on the 3rd (?) floor but there is no sign at the entrance of the building/hotel or by the elevator to direct or instruct guests.

The check-in process was inefficient because the staff asked us to type in all the required info. This should be the job of the staff who is familiar with all the required entries since they would be dealing with it day in and day out. As it was, my husband had to ask the staff what he needed to type which prolonged the check-in process. Not to mention that we were tired from traveling and we just wanted to go to our room!

We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was even though it faced the street. I personally didn't like that there was a big step to enter the bathroom. That can be hazardous!

You would NOT want to stay in such small rooms. Think about those little campers behind cars. However, the location is good, the staffs are friendly, and foods are fine. By the way, they never tell you that only UK-style electric outlets are available for charging your phones and computers, so, be prepared.

Check in was a nightmare asking for passport and credit card details to be sent in a chat to someone remotely checking you in.

Otherwise the room was ok, the queen exec the bed was only 6 inches off the ground which was a surprise but pictures showed that.

Road noise eventually stopped late but can hear it when trying to get to bed.

Give credit for decent quality pillows but duvet was lacking

For the money good value regardless of these things that can easily be improved.

We are both non smokers and stayed for 2 nights . First night on F5 was awful as we could smell cigarettes as soon as we turned on the ac. Complained at the front desk but realised reception was staffed by security (possibly an after-hours arrangement). He accompanied us to our rooms with a room spray which masked the smell for 10 minutes. We advised the day stime staff the next morning who quickly switched us to F10.

The bathrooms in both rooms needed better cleaning, the entrance to the bathrooms also had thick layers of dust and crumbs.

Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the location. It was close to many bars (if you don't mind a few flght of stairs), convenience stores and restaurants, walking distance to the Hk-MacauTurbojet. Also liked the communal kitchenette equipped with water and microwave.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay here. The room is clean and what I expected. The issue was the check-in process was a bit confusing. There is a reception area but it's located on the 3rd floor - this is not very clearly marked in the lobby with more prominent signage. I believe the photos of the lobby area are old and still show a reception area there. Instead, there is a large sign instructing you to check in with the Dash Living mobile app. If this doesn't work for you (as was my case), you are pretty much out of luck until you find Reception. I was only helped out by another hotel patron who clued me into this as she experienced the same check in problem as I did.

The location of this serviced apartment was really good, with many eateries nearby. The common space at level 3 also provided extra space beyond the room. However I may not come back due to the hard bed, very soft pillows, road noise (poor sound insulation) and general maintenance (while I think it is clean, does not give the impression of a well maintained space).

Location, location, location. This hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the MTR Sheung Wan station. It is also about 10 to 15 minutes from the Central pier complex which you can use to go to Kowloon, Lantau, Macau, and other places. There is a western style market maybe 30 feet from the entrance to the hotel. The \"cons\" are that they don't offer traditional hotel service like everyday cleaning although the towels are changed daily. There is no room service and its kind of a DIY hotel. I think the 30 HKD charge for the washer and 30 HKD for the dryer was steep. I've been to worse for sure but I don't think that this is a four star hotel by U.S. standards for sure. This is more in line with HoJo's or maybe La Quinta in the U.S.. I chose it for the location and the convenience and it more than fulfills that criteria.

Good value in central location

Stayed for 3 nights and no issues. Clean and comfortable room. With other hotels being so expensive this was one of the best deals we could find in the city. The room itself is very small and we couldn't fit both our suitcases laying down (we did book the small room, but this was smaller than we expected). The smart TV didn't work for us but there are instructions on how to fix it we just couldn't quite get it to work for us. No breakfast or on site restaurant. The road it's on is pretty busy so can be loud at night, but a fairly central location so easy to get around the city. Was a 5 min car or 15 min walk to the metro stop. Overall, good value for money and very clean and comfortable, but in general is a pretty basic room / hotel!

I recently stayed at Dash Living on Queen’s and found my experience to be underwhelming, particularly when compared to its once-glorious reputation. The hotel seems to have shifted its focus from providing quality service for hotel guests to catering more towards long-term tenants, which has negatively impacted the overall experience.

Cleanliness:
Upon entering my room, I noticed that cleanliness was below average. The bathroom had stains and accumulated dust, particularly in the toilet area, which was quite off-putting. It was clear that the rooms were not receiving the thorough cleaning they deserved, detracting significantly from the comfortable atmosphere one expects in a hotel setting.

Service:
The hotel staff, while helpful, lacked enthusiasm. There was a sense of indifference that made interactions less pleasant than they could have been. While they did respond to queries and requests, the lack of warmth made me feel more like a nuisance than a valued guest.

Location:
On a positive note, the hotel's location is a major advantage. It’s situated near numerous fantastic eateries, bustling shopping areas, and convenient transport options like the MTR and the ferry terminal. If you plan to explore Hong Kong extensively and need just a place to sleep, this could still be a viable option for you.

Only 2 redeeming features were day staff and walkable to MTR.

Night staff - so rude and surly! Same 2 staff each night during my stay. Large group of us travelling so we’d often hang out in the communal area on level 3 after each day of activities. Both staff would use their shift to sleep! I understand night shifts can be tiring but to be so fully asleep that we, as guests, we have to open the door to new arrivals is a joke. Even when we let people in, they’d wake up the staff for them to tut in annoyance. They would not speak a single word and simply point guests to a tablet to speak to someone online. In one instance, the male staff member on nights was visibly annoyed that our group was keeping him awake. He left the desk, for an hour! Again, we had to let guests in but didn’t know where he was. Turns out, he’d locked the toilet and was inside sleeping!!

Room - I expect a small room in HK as space is at a premium but wow, small! Double bed had no space to get to the far side and there was no storage so we were falling over suitcases. 1 leg of the bed was broken on arrival, it was fixed to then break again. Fridge was under the countertop in the room but under so far you had to get on your hands and knees to reach it. The door also opened the wrong way to where it was placed.

Cleaning - aware that English may not be the first language or staff may not speak English at all but when they knock and you say no, perhaps come back? No, they walk in regardless.

Property location good, lots of restaurants and easy access to MTR. Hotel was basic, rooms are small (not a big problem as you don’t go to stay in your room) the beds are so hard that it was uncomfortable to sleep. Outside area is noisy (earplugs recommended)
Main concern with this hotel was the stairs (main fire exit) were used as storage, any emergency would be a major hazard. Night time staff slept every evening at reception, there is a communal area (nicely kept) but we did have to help out and let people in whilst the reception staff slept!

Conveniently located in Hong Kong center. Within 10-15min walk of Hong Kong mtr, AirPort Express, and even the ferry. It’s also very close to Lan Kwai Fong, where there are a lot of expats and areas to explore. Lots of small streets, shops and hills to explore, and also amazing restaurants around the area. The hotel itself is being renovated from now until June. Had I known how extensive the renovations were, I probably wouldn’t have booked with them. To be fair, the hotel did notify me that they will be renovating but I thought it was only 2 floors, but the whole building seemed like a mess. The room itself okay. The bathroom needs a more thorough cleaning though. There was mildew and rust, and when I pulled the shower door, the door seal came off. Multiple lights in the room didn’t work either. Hopefully they’ll fix up the rooms during this renovation.

Very good hotel in the middle of the Sheung Wan area. I recommend it for short trips. Rooms are small but it is comfortable and ok if you’re going essentially only to sleep. WiFi works well, and bathroom is nice and not too small. The location is close to an MTR station and several restaurants, so it’s very convenient.

A great location for exploring the Central area. My 3yo daughter and I had a King room and it was as spacious as we needed. Reception staff were helpful. We walked everywhere - shopping along Queens, Central Market, SoHo and Hong Kong park. Also highly recommend breakfast at Oolaa, about a 10min walk - they have a great menu and even kids colouring in.

This hotel is a great choice for visitors who like the Central-SoHo-Hollywood Road area of Hong Kong. Easily walkable to two subway stations (10 minutes?) and cabs abound in the area too. The price was very reasonable for a safe, quiet and comfortable room. Onsite bar, restaurant and gym also were plusses. One elevator was not working one day, so a minor inconvenience. Front desk was always staffed with someone helpful.

This is so convenient with the MTR and the iconic Hong Kong trams just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Sheung Wan is a great area with lots of traditional eateries plus lots of other dining options. So much to explore.

Great that there are washing machines available for guests to us but we discovered a laundry service nearby and used that instead.

The hotel itself is clean and the staff are friendly. And love that they have the jars of local sweets in the lift lobby. Those mango gummies are addictive!

I booked the loft room for 8 nights and unfortunately it was not a pleasant stay.

1. The room lacked ventilation and the windows were bolted shut so you could not open the windows for air ventilation.
2. The bathrooms were small which combined with a weak/small fan, resulted in the room getting moist and humid. With the window bolted shut, we asked if there was a way to improve the humidity in the room to which we were told to turn off the a/c and put it on fan mode. This did not work either.
2. The room appears to have mold all over the floors and ceiling near the windows and curtain. This is likely from the humidity and lack of air ventilation in the room.
3. The daily room service was prompt but they did not change bed sheets or pillow cases despite our long stay. We had to request new sheets. The bed was also made in what looked like in a rush.
4. There was work being done outside which shut off the water supply. We were advised it would only be shut off for a few hours. Upon our return back to the room that night, we were told we would not be able to use the toilet until further notice.
5. No hand towels were provided as part of our stay.

Overall the stay was unpleasant and would not recommend.

The rooms are very, very small. We had a “medium” room, and there was about a foot between it and the wall with no closet. There was not enough room to open a suitcase, and my partner is claustrophobic, so we had to get out. They refused to give us any refund due to some small type that it was past their 48-hour policy (which Expedia ultimately fixed in part on their end, since we’d paid extra to cancel if we needed to).

That being said - if you’d like to stay at a chic, refurbished hostel, this one’s for you. It’s centrally located, the decor is cute, and we wish the best for all Hong Kong’ers trying to keep the hospitality alive in challenging times.

We stayed at the Mojo Nomad Central from 13-15 June. Our room was very small but otherwise fine. On 14 June we went out during the day and returned in the evening to find that all our luggage (and its contents), which we had left on the floor, were wet. It wasn't clear how the water had entered the room but we couldn't see anything dripping from the ceiling and as the floor beneath our luggage was also quite wet, it seems likely the water came up through the floating floorboards, or entered through the gap beneath the door to the adjacent room. We informed reception and a staff member came up to look at the room. She was quite helpful in laying down towels, and also offered us breakfast and a late checkout. While we appreciated the gesture, it in no way makes up for the inconvenience and more importantly, the significant damage to our property. Overall, we felt the hotel's response was insuffiecient.

The hotel is new and clean. It is a very nice and exceptional 3 star hotel, but in no way a 4 star hotel. There are no real services that make you feel pampered like a 4 star hotel. No warm greeting at check in, no maps or information about things to do in Hong Kong. Nothing more than a clean nice (very small) room, a gym and a very decent restaurant. They barely have enough room to store people’s luggage, so everyone’s held bags are in the lobby. However, the room amenities are nice and feel more upscale. It is an odd set up. As a 4 star hotel it is disappointing as a 3 star it is good.

We stayed here for a week in Hong Kong and it was affordable and convenient. If you’re looking for a no-frills but good vibe hotel close to Soho and Central this is perfect. Their breakfast is delicious and they had a clean gym, convenient laundry and nice restaurant to recover from the hustle bustle of Hong Kong.

Excellent Budget Hotel in HK Central

Excellent inexpensive hotel in the Hong Kong Central area. Staff are supper friendly and helpful, room was great and it is close to so many great places tocal and only a 10 min walk to the Ferry Terminal. Will stay there again for sure.

Budget place with Warm service!

The housekeeper was great that every day they asked us if we need housekeeping services, and they changed our towel and stuffs provided from hotel, while our personal belongings are kept in same place, you know when you are in a long stay like half month, the room was messy, this need to give a big hand to them! A bit disappointing thing was the stand shower, water always came out from the glass door gap and the marble floor in shower room was quite slippy. Gym room and self laundry are 24 hours open for guest, comfy enough and it's in a great location with a special Mexican interior design, wonderful!

This hotel is very hip, probably too hip for me, but perfect for young travelers in their early to mid twenties. It’s located a few hundred feet from the MTR, and easy to walk into central within 15 minutes. The hotel rooms are small, but nice. Probably too small for two adults, but it still worked for us. The bathrooms are tiny too, but super clean and the shower is surprisingly spacious, given the size of the rest of the bathroom. Great water pressure in the shower too. Bonus points for the delicious smelling body wash they provide. I didn’t try the shampoo or conditioner, but I’m sure it’s also wonderful smelling. The hotel staff are so incredibly nice, too. I accidentally left something behind when we checked out and they emailed me right away to offer to mail it to me. Most other hotels would have just tossed it and kept going. So so nice and accommodating.

I have only two negative points:
-the bed was so uncomfortable. It felt like a slim futon mattress resting directly on top of bare mattress coils. We woke up a bunch of times on this bed. It’s hard and will leave you with neck and back aches. Some may like it, though!
- the walls are very thin. There were only 3 rooms on our floor, and we regularly heard the guests from the other rooms coming and going, the elevator door slamming, and the people above us showering.

Like I said, this hotel is great, but I think it’s best suited for people who are in Hong Kong to drink, party, and not sleep a whole lot.
