Shops are down the hill. LKF is close if you’re having. A drink. Hotel is convenient but I went when it was relatively mild so it might be difficult for some to come up the escalators. Overall I will come again. Prices very wildly even in the same week so keep a look out and book when it’s cheap. 🙏

Once we get used to the slope and the steps, took a day or two, it is a lovely area! 10 min walks to convenience, to the garden, very nice setting. Also enjoy the convenience of buses to go to the city. The view of the city from our room was magnificent! They clean our room every day, provide drinking water next to elevator too. Smart elevator to limit over load. Our part of 7 rooms enjoy the stay. Friendly shuttles to the AirPort Express!

Courteous staff. However, rooms are a bit tight and dated. Especially the single rooms and the amenities need to be updated. Bit of a uphill walk from the train station which is doable, however, would recommend using their courtesy shuttle or cab if you have luggage.

Not a lot of food options around hotel but its quite and waa a good price. Room was a good size , larger than other hotels in HK at this price.

Dont try to walk from Hong Kong Station with luggage! Made that mistake and discovered there is a really long sloped road to carey luggage. Instead take the free hotel shuttle between Hong Kong MTR/airport express station to the hotel. Ask them for schedule or find it posted on L2 of the Airport Express station . There is a door labeled Hotel Shuttles. Very convenient if you time it right.

Would stay here again!

Staff were nice, professional. The shuttle bus from Hong Hong Station was on time and efficient, both to and from the hotel. View from the deluxe room, 16th floor was quite nice with beautiful cityscape and some water visible. Housecleaning kept the room clean. I would like to have hard wood floors; the carpet was ok, but carpet becomes quite dirty, makes me uneasy. The bed was not comfortable, it was hard; it seemed dated. And it made my hips and back sore during the 4 nights. Only 2 pillows on the bed, but more were brought promptly upon request from housekeeping. I vastly prefer hotel rooms that have a window that at least opens a little to allow fresh air in; this hotels windows are sealed (apparently for safety). The air con was ok, but also seemed dated. Would give 5 stars if windows at least opened a crack, and bed was updated. Location of hotel is excellent for my needs

Spotless room, fantastic location, courteous and friendly staff. The rooms facing the city offer incredible views of the skyline on Hong Kong Island, some harbor views and see across to Kowloon through the spaces between sky-scrapers. It is walkable to Zoo and Botanical gardens, which is worth a visit. Also, close to other nearby tourist attractions like station for Victoria Peak tram, 4 mins away by bus and Man Mo Temple, about 15 to 20 mins. away walking. Hollywood Road nearby also offers some shopping and dining options. Good Value, Great stay!

Great location & very convenient free shuttle bus. Only had 36 hours in Hong Kong but our stay was comfortable, combined with the ideal location we were able to achieve a great deal. Only downside was the small size of our room but given our short stay this wasn't an issue.

Overall very good hotel for the price. Good points are the staff are efficient and friendly, good value breakfast, and the shuttle bus to the airport station is handy. Bad point was that the shower in our room was very small and the temperature of the water was difficult to regulate. Towels were what you’d get in a 4 star hotel.

The only thing we were disappointed with was the size of the room.we would definitely book this hotel again but with a bigger room.The hotel was in easy walking distance from escalator to take you to the bottom for shops,restaurants and bars in the morning. The escalator then changes to take you back up later.

Best view in HK! Walk to Cnetral and soho, heart of HK...staff super nice, 'niceness' being rarity one will encounter in HK, where you get barked at casually...on most days.
But this is more 'motel' than hotel, from the universal generic beige decor to a sort of perrenial musty smell in the rooms since windows have been sealed - so no fresh air circulates, with many rooms needing upgrading around their faucets, bath tiles etc. I travel to HK frequently and always return here for the niceness and location.

Not as advertised on this booking site. There is no shuttle from the airport. They have a shuttle but it only picks you up at the closest train station... not a big deal but after adding in the cost of the taxi from the airport we could have stayed at a higher rated hotel with a shuttle for the same price.

Staff were nice but the Conserge was fantastic give us advice on how to get around.

Loved my stay here, facility’s were very good.
My only complaint…. Bus stop out the front one way which is great, if coming from the other way can be a bit scary crossing the road at times.
It is on mid level so need to be relatively fit for the thousands of stairs if you choose to walk…. Not far from the up escalator…. Just not one to go down.

This place used to offer a more standard 4 star accomodation. The hotel is very dated, and not worth the premium. I also find it a little insulting how they're cheap with things (e.g. charging guests for a photocopy of a page).

The view from the property is worth it!!

We stayed on the 16th floor Grand Deluxe room and the view it had was worth the stay.
The property is not located near any MTR station, but the hotels complimentary shuttle service makes it convenient.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was very nice. The staff are very friendly with excellent customer service. The hotel is okay, bed is a little hard, some room can be stuffy but the staff gave me an air purifier and moved me to a better room. I will definitely come back if there is a chance. Very close to the mid central escalators so walking commuting is very nice. And bus stop right in front of the hotel for those looking to use their compass cars to the max.

Great: awesome views of HK onto wanchai gap and beyond, depending on which floor you are on and not facing Robinson road.
Incredibly thoughtfully located power points with USBs, very intl friendly!
No beating this location, bus to Admiralty which is the nerve center to trains/ buses anywhere in HK and to China.
Not so great: property has aged and looks very tired. Rooms have that unaired smell,that doewnfeel great after disembarking from a long flight.
Unpleasant: my room was opposite the elevator, apart from loud tourists, cleaning staff was extremely loud too.

Disappointing Welcome

While the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, especially with the cab driver who would only take cash (lending me money), they also would not print me off a map leading to the telecom shop when I asked for it.

They said there were many around, and I got lost and walked around for hours. Also, the room I booked was sold, and they said I needed to upgrade (and charged me for this upgrade) I was tired and waved it through, but being that it was a mistake on behalf of their business I do not feel like I should have been punished for it.

Likewise, the room (for whatever reason) was/is on a floor only accessible by the service elevator and not the main elevators. Weird? Generally the welcoming process, although awkward when you dont share language, could still be improved for a place that claims to be an 'international' hotel.

I stayed 10 days at Bishop Lei and I loved every minute of it. I think it’s the cleanest and quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Staff were lovely and it’s a great location for walking to restaurants and shops. Easy to get a taxi. I loved the pool and swam as much as I could. Fabulous experience!!

I like my standard room..over view to the main road..and accessible to transportations, infront of the hotel is the bus stop..or if you like to walk..you can walk going to the nearest mtr...the reception staffs are approachable and helpful..and they have hotel shuttle bus that can take you to their designated stops..pick and drop..

The hotel is situated in a nice location in the mid-levels with stunning views of the city. The service was very good from start to finish. The property is in need of some renovation but considering the price I can’t really complain. Room is nice and clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast can be improved.
