The hotel only has rooms above 38 floor to ensure your view of the mountain/sea, large room compared to other hotels. It is nearly a shopping mall and easy to travel to.

The Upper House has several great things that come to mind when staying at the hotel. 1) great attentive friendly staff (Jess Ma and Rhoda Chan were exceptional), unique modern tasteful clean design, great location on HK Island, excellent fit and finish to the rooms and the quality of every little thing seemed effortless but perfect.

The property is at its finest by the design and its location at Pacific place which you can do shopping and also dining without going anywhere else. In room dining sucks. Room layout is a bit strange. The front door is practically next to the bed. Some staff were nice and some were stuck up. Clean and Comfortable environment to stay
This is a really nice stay. Got upgraded to the Upper Suite and the environment and service are super good. A little comment would be it is a little bit hard to find the equipment, like wine opener. The breakfast quality can be improved as well. However, it's great that the room already included 800 HKD of meal charge. If I had the chance I would definitely choose this place again.

Definitely the best hotel ever!!! Staying in this hotel will ruin all other hotel stays. Never have I seen a hotel that has spoiled us from the exchanging of emails even before we arrived til we checked out. Hotel staff even went out of their way to check on us if we got lost or if we’re ok as we went to a place unfamiliar. Staff at Cafe Gray was also super nice, oh and the food was amazing! I want this to be my default hotel in HK!

The only hotel or \"House\" in Hong Kong that had the largest room size starting from the most basic room category. Stayed at the Upper Suite where every room had a view of the island. Every other aspect of the house were pleasant and delightful.
Such a shame though, that no complimentary champagne/wine/any other alcohol was offered to us for celebrating our Special Occasion at the House. The MaxiBar was free and restocked daily except for wines and champagnes. What the House can do is offer free wines and champagnes in the MaxiBar for a day, or at least have a bottle of champagne served for guests ready in the room.
Pretty shocking also that the roses decoration in the room were not real petals.
Some misunderstandings occurred where I received black tea instead of green tea when I ordered a green tea at the Cafe Gray Deluxe, and every table there by the window was reserved and I was told the guests will be arriving soon but after having dined there for over an hour none showed up. Beautiful, comfortable, unparalleled service. Our Studio 70 harbor view room was spacious and stunning, with a bathroom I wish I had at my house; wonderful bed and linens; and the service....oh the service was incredible!!! They went out of their way to take care of us, from paying for our taxi upon arrival cause we had local currency yet (which they later charged to our room), to packing for travel a delicate object I purchased, all without asking! Staff was just very attentive. It is also very conveniently located across the street to a subway station.
A few minor downsides in my opinion: it sits on the Hong Kong side, which doesn't have the spectacular view as those hotels that sit on the Kowloon side, although it's not bad either. I was surprised that the tub was not a jacuzzi, just a regular soaker tub, modern looking but not a very comfortable one. Also, being a recently built hotel, I was surprised it lacked convenient outlets to plug in cell phones, which have become sort of the norm in most hotels. All in all, a wonderful experience that I recommend wholeheartedly and look forward to staying there again.

It's a great hotel, and probably the best in HK. However, there still are something that could be improved. First of all, there is no swimming pool in the hotel, which seems unusual for a luxury hotel. Second, I called 'Guest Experience' once, between 8 to 9 AM, no one picked up the phone immediately, it rang like 7~8 times, I almost hang up the phone. Third, you don't need a key card to get to the guest room levels, although it seemed pretty safe for us. And one more thing, I like the canvas tote with the hotel's name on it very much but I couldn't find any place to buy it. There are candles, bracelets and some other stuff near the coffee bar but no canvas tote. But don't get me the wrong way, we enjoyed our stay very much, I just hope one of my favourite hotel could be better and better.

We had the best experience while staying with the upper house hotel for the past few nights. They had a crib set up for our baby when we arrived, baby bath tub and full range of baby products for us to use, they even prepared a Phillips steam sanitizer for baby bottles! Receptionist brought us up personally, showed us around the room and all the things that we can use. And the staff are all very friendly, attending to our every needs in the promptest time. Needless to say, the room itself was excellent, view was superb and bed was so soft we fell asleep very easily. They really gave us the feeling of staying in a home away from home. We will definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location near Mall and MTR. Very personable staff. Great layout of room and outstanding view of harbor. Our suite (#09) had great view of city and harbor, and gave a spectacular view of firework during Chinese New Year (so we didn't need to go to the Bar Lounge to watch the firework). The restaurant had excellent menu and unique dishes. Truly a very enjoyable stay and experience!
