Fantastic place to stay

We had a fantastic stay here. It’s a 5 minute walk to the MTR station. The size of the room is huge. The kitchen area was handy as we could make some simple meals. The staff were friendly and helpful. And, of course, the view was stunning. The government has initiated a new green policy so no toiletries are provided, although you do have the option to purchase some at the front desk or at nearby shops. No complaints at all. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing View and Apartment

Short trip to HK for work, chanced upon this place at a value price somehow with super spacious and beautiful view of the harbour.

Highly recommended if anyone is travelling with Family, slightly away from the city center but still not too far a distance. Despite that, the views compensate really for the need to travel 😍

I hope somehow I will get another attractive pricing once again, will definitely stay again...

We checked out and left something, they actually called and texted to ask if they can offer to send the items to us. Such hospitality!

Not as great as it seems

I chose the Connaught because I had my dog with me and they allow me to bring my dog into the room.The room condition is not as nice as the photo. The room and furniture look old and needs renovation. The receptionist is not friendly. So overall, it wasn't a pleasant stay but I was happy that my dog can stay with me.

The hotel room was nice and larger than expected. For me the location was not that great and was hard to get a taxi to take me off the island from here. Also the hotel room had a faint smell of fish when I got there late in the evening and did not realize getting there late in the night that a lot of seafood suppliers are very close by and maybe that smell just overpowers.

Unsafe to stay in this hotel !

Absolute nightmare!
From check-in I realised that the staff are rude and unprofessional (playing with phone while serving customer)
First morning, fire alarm went on at 6.00am and we had to evacuate the hotel with no explanation! We later figured out that a microwave exploded and a fire started on a room below us!!
No one apologies at any point of time, the hotel was at first smelling bad but after the fire it was smelling smoke everywhere as well our room and personal belonging as well!
No refund and/or compensation and the manager was gone missing for 2 days, leaving guest with no one to deal with the situation.
This hotel is unsafe and the new management is incompetent and putting life of guest by their incompetence (note microwave exploded and was not mishandled despite what staff told us) as we met the guest who were staying on the room below where fire started.
Never experienced anything like that!
After the fire was managed by the firemen they left fire doors open which is unsafe and made the smoky smell propagate at every floor!!!
Disappointing to see this hotel run by incompetent as it used to be well managed under citadines!
Paid for 2 nights where we were not really able to sleep with our 2 kids, who are traumatised by this experience!!!

An arrogant, unhelpful Receptionist met us upon arrival at this Hotel. The first room we were given reeked of smoke, although it’s a non-smoking establishment. We were given a second room which faced on to the flyover, which given that it sells itself as a harborview hotel is laughable. Both rooms were dirty and unclean. I would not recommend anyone to stay here, there are plenty of nicer hotels in Hong Kong

Easy to get to CBD, big space for HK standards!

Great! But most taxis won't know the name of the hotel, so better to have the address on hand. Tough to also get taxis. The hotel says they don't call taxis because there's no assurance they'll come. Wish they'd refill the lotion too. I always had to ask for that, even if clearly, we had finished the little bottle already.

I'm surprised at all the high ratings this property has.

It wasn't awful...but it was pretty darn dingy. Certainly the rooms are spacious, relative to the Hong Kong average size...but the building has the general character of an institution or prison.

Very dark...damp smelling...less a reception desk than a night-watch-stand.

And while the room *looks* nice on first glance...closer inspection reveals that almost all the cushions, sheets, blankets, pillows and linens are *very* used and almost-threadbare.

I've stayed in a variety of places before, but this was one of the first that genuinely had this sort of vibe...the kind of vibe you might associate with an inexpensive, potentially shady hotel near an airport.

I checked back out within ten minutes of getting to my room.

It might be a decent place to stay if you are only looking for a place to lay your head and pass out at night...but it certainly didn't feel very homey or comfortable to me.

Awesome harbour view, very spacious room!

The view from the room and the bed was awesome! Full view of the harbour, request for higher floors, it's really a sight to behold. Room was big and spacious, come with pretty well equipped kitchenette. Good as a place if you want to stay away from the bustling city and crowds, downside is not too many places are open if you are looking for supper options. There's a gym and laundry place in the hotel as well. Take Ding ding to Eastern street or MTR to Sai Ping Pun, about 3 to 5 minutes walk. Overall good stay, staff was friendly! Will go back again for the view!

I have booked this hotel for 3 nights to visit HK and the location was great , just 3 minutes walk from MTR with central line .

The view while you slept and woke up , it was nice to see .

I recommended this hotel especially the size If compare with another hotel and reasonable price . It was a good choice to book this hotel .

Allow to cook but cant open windows and no aircon!

With a window that cannot he opened(reasonable), the hotel claims that the rooms temp are centrally controlled. Because if our room temp is set for cooler, all the rooms will be affected. We cooked in the room, because they offer cookware, the heat cannot go away for hours due to these reasons. I asked for a fan if such windows and air con are not adjustable, they cannot even offer a fan for us. I said to the receptionist “so we just have to sit and suffer in the heat with no solution?” He said “yes... that’s basically what it can be..” what an answer! Thx for ur help hotel!

Another great stay!

The facilities and comfort of these apartments are excellent. The huge, comfortable bed, large lounge area and amazing view was stunning. We loved the area where we stayed - the transport systems are world class so it was so easy to get around. Get yourself an Octopus card for transport and paying is most stores. The airport express is fantastic to get from the airport to Hong Kong Central Station. Then there is a free shuttle bus service (H2) to the Island Pacific hotel from the Hong Kong Central MTR station. You just then walk round the corner to the apartments. What makes the stay special is the excellent staff who work on reception. They all went our of their way to welcome us and provide us with all the service and support that we asked for. Many thanks - especially to Richard, William and Stephany :-)

Spacious and gorgeous view, clean and convenient

This service apartment / hotel was called Chi Residence 138, now sold to Citadines. All staff members from Chi are replaced. The new crew is courteous and accommodating, as good as the Chi staff. The view is gorgeous, remember to ask for the higher floors if it's available. The 900+ sq ft space is generous compare to most hotels. What you sacrifice is the location, and as it is a service apartment first, there is little room service. However, MTR (subway) is about 5 minutes walk away. There is public basketball court and swimming pool right across the street, plus a free gym on 2nd floor. Roof was open to all residents, not sure if it is still the case now, did not check out this time.

When it was under Chi management, you get your own WIFI for each room, which allow Apple TV and Chromecast to be used privately. With the new management, now you connect to a global WIFI access point with same password, so you can connect to any other AppleTV or Chromecasts which is really bad. Also, the internal network has conflict with AWS (if you are an engineer) and it blocks me from working on some projects.

Despite the change in WIFI, this is by far the best apartment if you don't mind a little bit more traveling. It has a simple kitchen and feels like home.

Spacious Room for Short or Long Stay

This is our second time staying here. This time we requested one extra bed for an adult son. It was placed by the kitchen and worked out well, which proved to be a better option than booking two small cheaper rooms. The location is great: walk 30 sec to bus for Stanley, 1 min to tram, 3 minutes to MTR, and relatively easy to get a cab. Staff were all nice and very helpful. The view of the harbor was amazing. Heard some noises from neighbors at night but not a big problem.

Clean and spacious apart hotel

Booked 2 rooms for my family on 21st floor and we had the whole floor to ourselves. Pls take note that the doors do not auto lock. Need to use the key to lock it.

Room was spacious and great for people with kids. They provided Graco baby cribs. There was also a microwave and stove if you need to prepare food for babies.

The view of the room was magnificent! Was able to see a light show across the harbour. Will never grow sick of watching the cars,ferries,helicopters. The room was very sound proof so we can't hear the vehicles.

It's 15 mins walk to the Macau ferry terminal and about 5-10 mins walk upslope to Sai Ying Pun station. However, there's no must-try food around the area. Even the concierge has no recommendations.

Will definitely stay here again as it's so comfortable!

This property was called the 138 Chi Residence. It is now the Citadanece. The rooms could use some renovation. The walls need paint etc. The bedding is getting worn. Over all the property is well located and the rooms are large. For the right price this hotel can be a good value.

Spacious apartment-hotel with spectacular views

Location is not central, but easy access by tram, MTR & bus (or taxi though we only used public transportation) to anywhere you want to go. Just buy an Octopus card from Customer Service at MTR station & use on all public transport, so easy & convenient! Had an amazing view of harbour (ask for a high floor!) Staff was friendly & helpful. Room is very spacious & we made use of the kitchenette & saved some money by buying a few groceries. Good shower (including all toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, lotion, shaving kit, toothbrush, shower cap), good wifi, & was a bonus that there are free laundry facilities on site (you just have to buy your own detergent). Was great to have an apartment to come home to at end of long tiring days of walking & sightseeing, rather than going to a cramped hotel room! Was there on holiday, but I suppose would also be great for a business traveller. Even though it's like an apartment there is daily housekeeping, which is great.

Harbour View from the room is quite impress.
Room is spacious and full equipped with kitchenet.
Each floor has only two room with separate elevator. No noise disturbing from people walk passing your room or people chatting while wait elevator at the hall. Extremely private and quiet.

Stay for the view only, not for the service.

Good: Room is of good size, bathroom is huge. Bed has an amazing view of the Victoria Harbour. A small gym is available. You can relax at the rooftop. A smart phone is available for use during stay.
Bad: The shower area doesnt have a door so the water keep splashing out. No detergent and sponge provided for short stay guests. No Tea towel provided. The gym was rarely cleaned, not all equipment is working. Washer and dryer is not inside the apartment, I don't really understand as the room definitely has enough space for that.
Service: The staff never acknowledge our presence except for check in and check out. Smile is non-existent. They offered us a late check out when we check in but then they forgot about it and called us at 12:30pm on our check out day, telling us in a rude way saying that according to the hotel policy the check out time is 12pm. This totally ruined our mood of returning to this apartment as we felt like a second class residents there.
I would call this a no service apartment.

Nice place that needs just a few improvements

We stayed here for three nights. The place is more a serviced residence than a hotel, and well, while we liked the big size of the room, king bed, kitchentte, crib for our little one, location near the MTR and tram, and good housekeeping, we had a few issues. Our check-in was delayed because the room was still being cleaned, one of the male receptionists was really rude with HORRIBLE English I could barely understand, the power sockets were the HK standard and so I had to use an adapter provided by the front desk and the bathroom sink leaked (it got fixed fast). Would we stay here again? I think so but well, it could use a bit of improvement

皆さんが言うように、やや臭い匂いがする部分はあったが、部屋全体ではないので気になる事はあまりなかった。
夜景はきれいだし、スタッフは親切だし、部屋は広くて最高だった。

I would not recommend this hotel. The worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed. Hair all over the place, even in new towels. Body hairs were all tangled in new towels. Stains on new bedsheets. Not so friendly front desk staff. The ocean view was the only thing I can compliment.

フロントで前日にタクシーの予約をしたが、予約がされていなかった。
フロントに1名しかいないため、自分でタクシーを捕まえた。
これが2日続けてあった。
部屋からの景色は素晴らしいが、ビジネスでの宿泊はおススメしない。

위치는 번화가와는 거리가 있지만 바로 뒤에 버스정류장 있어서 이동하기 편리해요~! 어차피 더워서 버스타고 돌아다녀야합니다 ㅎㅎ 여긴 뷰가 다했습니다. 가성비 쩔고 레지던스 느낌이라 편안했어요! 커피랑 물 다 무료라 잘 먹었네요ㅎㅎ 추천합니다

古きよき街並みを背中に、現代的なViewを正面に！

カオルーン（自分的には新市街）より、ホンコン（自分的には旧市街）が好きな方には、超おススメ。半日滞在で満喫しきれずですが、ともかくビューとコスパが素晴らしい。ご飯食べれるところが施設内にあればなおのことよかったが…まあ外に行けばよいから never mind。

極度失望的飯店

訂了兩晚名字內含有：Harbor View的房間。對於我的英文認知裡面應該是帶有海港景觀的房間。
但在當天下午1:30check in，得到的房間樓層在五樓。景觀只有建築跟快速道路，完全沒有“HARBOR\"。
詢問了櫃檯，櫃檯説只剩5.6.7樓，高樓層都有長期居住的房客了。
我能體諒住宿景觀因人主觀不同，但預定房間前告知HARBOR VIEW最後一場空，實在失望，當初就是因為景觀房型才預定此飯店。欺騙消費者實在需要提醒大家！
另外房間時不時會飄著魚乾貨的味道，對於此味道不舒服者，請三思考慮，沒有景觀，整潔度也沒有，飯店唯一的優勢就是房間大。
希望飯店跟Hotels.com能給一個合理解釋。

후기가 없는게 이상할정도로 정말 만족했던 호텔

굉장히 만족스러웠습니다.

한층에 룸이 두개밖에 없는데 엘리베이터도 각각 있어서 프라이버시가 완전히 보장됩니다.
레지던시 형태로 필요한것이 모두 있어 친구들과 장기 숙박해도 좋을 것 같아요.
친절하고 영어가 잘 통하는 직원들, 룸컨디션, 창밖의 뷰, 조용한 주변 환경과 편의시설 전반적으로 모두 굉장히 만족합니다. 또 숙박할 의사 있어요.

望海的房間

這次已是第二次入住此酒店了！酒店職員十分友善，每個職員的臉上都充滿笑容。進入房間，發現地方十分大。廚房應有盡有，當晚烹調了一頓美味的晚餐。洗手間非常整潔，本人特別喜歡酒店所提供的沐浴露，很香的！睡床對著大玻璃，一睡醒就能望到大海，十分舒適。

Appartement spacieux avec une vue magnifique sur la baie (pour les étages élevés)
Très bien agencé avec plein de rangements idéal si vous restez une longue période
Cuisine assez bien équipée pour 2 personnes.
Clim un peu bruyante mais performante
Lave-linge et sèche-linge au 1e étage très commode
Salle de sport bien équipée
L’hôtel est idéalement situé à 2mns à pied du métro. À l’arrivée et au départ si vous empruntez le train express pour l’aéroport une navette vous conduit à 2 mns à pied de l’hôtel depuis Hong Kong station terminus du train express.
