From the time we checked in, which was later than expected and after office hours, we were given easy instructions to pick up key and enter our room. The manager was very helpful and we felt very welcome the whole stay… Rooms were amazing for the low price to stay and very close to the places we needed to attend over the weekend. Highly recommend staying here for a laid back and hassle free weekend.

I was involved in a 3 car and a Sami accident on the way to my hotel, I could not find a phone number to call to advise them and when someone from the hotel to see what time I would be arriving, they weren’t the slightest bit interested.
I finally found the number and called the next day to say that I would be arriving the next day and was informed that I would have to book another room and pay again, the guy I was talking to said the he would check with the manager and call me back and did not receive a phone call, I stayed at a nicer hotel in Albury and will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Centrally located. Quiet. Clean. Very basic kitchen facilities provided (microwave, a few plates and cutlery, sink). Comfortable beds. It appeared to be well maintained. In the end though, don't get too excited - it is a motel, though perhaps a cut above the average.

Upon arrival the person at the front counter did not seem to know what was going on. They were dressed in filthy clothes and the foyer smelt terrible. I basically had to figure out finding my key myself and telling them how to do it. The property was not well kept with random pieces of furniture left around and sheets up in the office windows.
The room was very run down and dirty. Definitely not good value and not like the photos. I can appreciate that motels can be older but as long as they are clean then no troubles. This room didn’t feel nice to be in.
There were dirty pieces of paper around the room with instructions. The back glass door opened to an awful patio with overgrown weeds and a walkway that anyone could go past meaning you couldn’t open the blinds.
Something had been spilt on the carpet and when I put bags down it soaked through to our clothes making them dirty. Yuk!!
In the morning I found a bed bug in my daughters bed - we couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
I will never stay here again.

Overpriced accommodation

For the price point this was disappointing. We travel regularly in regional Australia, and were surprised what we paid for a quite ordinary room.

Things that we noticed, tiles that were a tripping hazard, tv we couldn’t get channels, it just lacked care in presentation

Yes we could have approached reception but there was never anyone there

For a motel it was quite good. It certainly needs a facelift, but given the age it is still clean.

Staff were lovely. However, there was a family next to use who were very loud late into the night. Given most people in Albury accommodation are travelling to/from Sydney or Melbourne and have to drive the next day, you would think they would police this.

Overall convenient place to stay overnight. Has the basics of what you need. Electrical work needs to be looked at considering there were extension cords handing from tv to power outlets etc. Also returned back in the evening and there were no car spaces so we had to park on the street. I would suggest to the owner to number the car spaces for the rooms and take down number plates as it is unfair to book a place with a car park and have others use it.

Reception was helpful when I arrived with fast check in right at closing time. Receptionist directed me where to park (right in front of my door) and walked me into the room and turned on the heater - who does that - it was awesome. Ammenities included dental pack, white slippers, and convenient dispensers in shower and vanity for body wash, lotion, shampoo, etc. When I went to check out the next morning I found the reception was locked. He called out to leave the key in the box - because he was cleaning rooms - I think this guy either owns or manages the complex and here he is staying up late, treating me like royalty and turning around and doing the thankless work of housekeeping. Hats off - my family was impressed. My only recommendation is to get new mattresses and pillows when you can afford it.
