No hot water on a winters morning is a major service fail. Especially whilst watching the motel provide cafe coffees to the tradies on site.. hot coffee would have been better provided to your cold unwashed paying guests.
Kind people running the property, but sorry I won’t risk no morning shower again next trip.

Claudene
The room was clean and had everything we needed for a stay. Staff were very friendly.
Brendan
Room was clean and quiet, host was nice and friendly will definitely stay again.
Hayden
No fuss, last minute booking, and did the job. Kids had a quick dip in the pool before dinner, and room seemed clean. Only thing that was a tiny annoyance was that we needed to wash the dishes before use as they were all sticky, but if that's all we have to complain about, it was fine! I'd stay here again.
Sophie
This was a lovely spot to stay for the weekend. The room was very spacious and the kids loved the pool and playground. The playground could probably use some new wood chips or soft fall of some sort but otherwise was great. The bathroom was big and hot water was basically instant! Has cutlery, plates, cups etc, dishwashing liquid, kettle, microwave and toaster in the kitchenette. The beds were comfy and it was quiet overnight.
Jannette
Quiet area.
Lynne
Very clean, easy checkin, lovely staff - so close to all your need, without being right in the centre of town. Would stay again for sure. Very quiet as well.
Keira
It was a clean place to lay our heads
KERRI
This motel is a favorite of ours as it is always quiet and convenient for us when we are travelling thru. Staff are great and very helpful.
Andre
Excellent place, very quiet until other visitors arrived with noisy children. One problem with the room was that the mattress seemed to have very old springs and was very soft, I didn't sleep well because of that.

I recently stayed at this motel for a short weekend trip and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth and quick. While the amenities were basic, everything I needed was there: a comfortable bed, clean towels, working heater, and free Wi-Fi that actually worked well. It’s not a luxury hotel, but for the price, it exceeded expectations. I’d definitely stay here again for a no-frills, comfortable, and very clean experience.
Lynne
Handy to our destination....
Yvonne
Very clean, large rooms well set out, excellent staff very friendly, plenty of parking, convenient to where we had to go
Yvonne
Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Property is convenient for our needs, very clean, big rooms, this is our second stay and we’ve already booked in for a third.
Darren
Stay here all of the time
Brett
Comfortable bed
Shay
Whilst a bit off the Hume, the quietness was well worth it. Lovely and clean. Nice hosts. Happy to recommend.
Quinn
Really a nice and well taken care of property and it shows. Super nice staff.
Mark
This property is a distance from the center of Albury, and is not easy to find, even with navigation. It's on a hilltop and far from any restaurants or amenities. But if you only want quiet and don't care about amenities, this isn't a bad place. The manager leaves at 7pm, not a convenient time if you arrive in the early evening. Most motel managers are there until 8pm. The room itself was fine and convenient. But due to the remote location, we would not stay here again. We would stay closer to the center of Albury where the restaurants and cafes are.
Linda
Property was clean and quiet. Not near any dining or other facilities.
Paulette
Very nice place to stay for the night.
Fiona
Property was lovely and clean bed was comfortable good size room crockery was provided had a kitchen sink which is better than just having the bathroom to get water from mircowave toaster kettle everything you needed from a motel would definitely recommend and would stay there again
Vince
Very easy to a late check-in
Aaron
Nice place to stay, would definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area
Sarah

Was pretty clean. Pool wasnt great and had too much chlorine in it.
Other guests were very loud.
Room needs to be refurbished.
No breakfast available, as per description.
Heafty price for the basics overall.

Do not believe the reviews - Go elsewhere
The current owners took over this hotel just over 2 yrs ago, and have inherited the previous owners positive reviews... unfortunately the place old, run down, dirty and requires vast amount of upgrades and maintenance.
Upon arrival, I was getting a few things together in my vehicle before checking in, and I had the owners mother rudely come and ask what I was doing, why I parked out on the street, when I replied that I was staying at the hotel she quickly backed off.
Booked a spa executive room, obviously because I wanted to use the spa after a long day travelling. Before using any hotel bath I always rinse it and run the jets, says alot about hotel cleanliness when my rinse flushes out the dead skin from previous guests...eeewww. Something that housekeeping should be sanitising after each guest.
Refilled the spa, used it, then pulled the plug to drain the water. Within a min the water going down the bath drain, was coming back up through the floor drain, quickly flooding the bathroom and drenching the carpet. Called reception, the whole family had to come have a look (including their mother and kids) owners we quick to try a blame me, that their dodgy plumbing is somehow my fault. I even got questioned if I used the spa??? Well of course I'm going to use the spa, that's why I booked this room type.
Moved to a family room, so old, so dated. Most uncomfortable bed, could feel the springs. This was apparently a free 'upgrade'. Owners keep pestering me all night.

tahlia
Nice enough place to stay for the night. Nothing interesting surrounding area.
Jennifer
Great place to stay for one night on our way to Melbourne. Clean and nice. We came in late so reception left our key out for us. Would stay again.
JULIE
Motel is a bit tired and in need of an update but bed was comfortable, free parking outsider your door, free wi-fi. Microwave and small kitchen is handy.
Adam
This accommodation suited perfectly for my weekend in Albury. It was clean and comfortable, a good sized room, and easy to check in and check out.
Armilla
Old looking room but its very clean and comfortable. We stayed in room for 4 people. Very spacious and clean. We love the separate area between kitchennette and the bathroom.
The sheer curtains needs to fixed or replaced as it started to looks tired.
Playground and pool just behind our room
Foods and restaurant was only 8 minutes driving. Not far from city centre. Overall the accommodation is recommended

Loved this well priced motor in at a convenient location for the drive between Melbourne and Sydney. Although it is an older building, the owners keep it spotless, well supplied and the sheets were extremely clean and crisp. Very impressed and may even stay on the way back home.
Stephen

Very clean. Housekeeper does excellent work.
Check-in experience was terrible, as the receptionist pressured me over the phone into paying the entire 6 night stay prior to arrival, even though the arrangement through Wotif was 'pay at hotel upon check-in, 1 night penalty applies if there is a no-show'. I relented because I was afraid they would otherwise cancel my booking. Definitely felt bullied in this instance. Will not stay here again because of this experience.

Nice quiet location. Easily accessible and only a short drive to city centre
Lauren
Fast check in, good size room. Everything i could need
Rachel
I don’t know how this motel has high ratings. I booked because it had good ratings, but I have to be honest rooms very outdated and doonas on beds so grubby that has to remove them and the quilt cover over the top of doona definitely not clean and obviously a cheap option of bed change. The location lovely- out of town, but beautiful surrounds. Photos look so much better than actual pool and grounds. Rooms very outdated and shower was mould ridden. Little kitchenette had dishcloth kindly folded - however had been previously used?? Not cheap and clear that management cutting costs. Would choose to stay somewhere else next time.
Peta
A great place to stop over. Nice comfy bed. In a lovely quiet location.

Bed was very comfortable, rooms was large, even with an extra single bed in it you had lots of room.
Ariane
Lovely clean and quiet. Unfortunately the shower head was broken so difficult to use but overall very good.

This property is in need of a bit of an update.
The TV didn’t seem to work properly, it maybe be the reception as the picture and sound kept dropping out and pixelating.
We couldn’t wash the dishes properly as there was no dish cloth available and I was unable to wipe the table after we had dinner.
The curtains were not up properly, they need to be attended to also.
For the price I suppose it was adequate.

Great service, nice room with most things you need.
No meal options or snack bar, no close food shops.
Banging pipes in the walls were quite loud on and off through the night, a bit annoying.
Overall a good stop over.

The office looked liked it was locked up but upon waiting for a while and then calling, I found out the office was actually open but there were no lights on and no one in the office.
maybe a note on the door saying We are open , Please come in would help.
Also I had no towels.

Management were very kind and welcoming, however they don't do breakfast anymore and unless you have a car, it will cost you $20-$30 each way to venture out to get food. Very comfortable and clean. Dates but spacious. Fabulous if you are passing through, need a bed for a couple of nights and have a car.
Glenn
Very clean, warm and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Manpreet
Really good. Highly recommended.
Leanne
Walls very thin.

Unable to have most television channels and then regular power outages on the television. The room was cleaned only once in a four day stay. The pictures on the website were not representative of the unit. The location was much further out of town than thought to be. I felt that the managers/owners were trying to do everything on the cheap and were short of the staff needed to run the place properly. The fire extinguisher at the front to f the room was last checked in July 2022. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

I was disappointed that the room staff didn’t come in and clean the room even though I was there for two nights. Didn’t replenish the towels or anything. The motel was not near any shops etc. Room was comfortable that was a bonus

The staff were very welcoming, even their little daughter made us laugh by opening the door for us.

It was mostly a very nice place to stay. Nice neighbours.
Andrew
The room was fine, a little dated but very clean and everything you need. My only complaint was that I could not find a pillow that was comfortable for me which gave me a poor night sleep and a sore neck the following day. I usually bring my own pillow however could not this time around. While I could have improved the situation by bringing my pillow surely a decent nights sleep is what we are there for and therefore the should do more to help with that. I do recommend staying there just bring your own pillow if a
good night sleep is paramount.

Perhaps the cloth hangers have not been touched for a while therefore had some dust on them, otherwise everything else including the room carpet, bed linen, kitchen area and bathroom were spotless. There were some noises heard from the outside when people nearby checked-in/checked-out. Though it was a very comfortable stay with our 3 young kids.

Everything was good. The family room was clean and had everything. I would have given it five stars if the Wi-Fi had been working. Luckily the 4G coverage was good.
Michael
Just what we needed for an overnight stay.

Old fashioned motel. spotlessly clean and well maintained. All we needed for the night . Little kitchenette and comfy beds and my son enjoyed the pool.

Peaceful position, a short drive to the CBD. Manager was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Parking is at the front door to the room. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay during roadtrips
We've stayed at the Hume Country Motor Inn twice and we have decided it will be our go-to motel for trips through Albury. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy. This motel is great for an overnight stay while passing through the town.

Quite and safe spot in Albury. Good views and friendly staffs. Comfortable stay but the aircon in my room is bit noisy.

The staff were very friendly , professional and welcoming despite the fact we came from Victoria and the NSW Premier had stated we were not welcome in NSW . !!!!!

Lovely large room, fabulously comfy bed, impeccably clean.
Geoff
Large clean rooms with everything you need, with good outside facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.
Quiet location within easy driving range to shops and eating places.
Excellent continental breakfast included in our room rate.
The only issue was that the rooms aren’t very well soundproofed and we had a very noisy family in the next room ..... but this can happen anywhere.
This is the second time we have stayed here, and we would stay again.
