Wasn't the best place to stay with shady/potentially dangerous people around, some who spoke loudly outside our room at all hours of the night so we couldn't sleep. Neither hubby nor I felt safe at all staying there and we were relieved our car was still there in the morning and to get out. No one on reception to greet, although responsive via phone. Pillows and room had black hairs on them. Bed was horrible. Would not stay again. Not safe.

Budget price - budget quality.

We stayed here due to location and that they were pet friendly.

Paid extra for a pet to stay - perhaps would have negotiated on that if I knew how bad the room smelt of cigarette. As a non-smoker it was overwhelming.

Being an older room there is plenty that could be picked apart - we only required a clean bed though as we had a full adgenda elsewhere and at the price we were not expecting 5 star accomodation.

Access to our room was good.

It was ok, room door faced a service station opposite which felt a little exposed, bed was comfortable, bedding clean but the bathroom was so run down and in need of a refresh that I didn’t want to use the shower as the base looked grotty. Don’t believe the pictures online!

The room is basic but adequate for a quick overnight stop when driving between Sydney and Melbourne. However, we arrived in Wodonga on a 43-degree day, and despite the manager calling an hour prior to confirm our ETA, the north-facing room had not been pre-cooled. Given the extreme heat and confirmed arrival time, having the air conditioning turned on ahead of time would have been a thoughtful and practical touch. The unit struggled to bring the bedroom temperature down, and we didn’t even attempt to cool the kitchen or bathroom areas. The other frustration was the unkept nature strip in front of the room which meant you walked in thorns/burrs into room and they stuck to carpet and were brutal on the feet. I might look at other motels next time.
Plus side it is dog friendly for $25 extra + CC fee

We arrived a bit early after a hot drive. The host was friendly and polite and let us check in without fuss. The property was clean, with an enclosed outdoor area. We will be staying at Warrina again.

Bed had only one very thin blanket. Room had no spare. A/c was not able to heat the room enough overnight. Inexcusable in the middle of winter in Albert. No knives and forks provided , only one teaspoon. Bathroom badly needs updating, body wash container in shower was empty. Cannot recommend.

Our room was clean but the light in the bathroom had issues and we needed to call for the wifi as it had been torn out of the book.
I’ve never felt water pressure like this before, it will blow you away.
Did it suit our needs, our budget, clean and comfortable inside. all yes. Would I stay again, not likely as I think I’d pay a little more to have a nicer setting. But if budget is most important then yes.

Not the best value for the money. Floors were a little dirty in the bathroom, the shower head was loose causing the hose to come off. Had to ask for additional pillows and no pool towels were available. TV would not turn off from the remote, only way was to use the wall switch.

If a serial killer was hiding from the cops, he'd hide here! Rooms dark, gross, outdated, dirty, depressing. Reception was a strange setup, dirty also, unmanned (you have to call a number to check in). This motel is the kind of place that wouldve been lovely in 1950, hasn't been cleaned or updated in any way since then though! Avoid!

Do not, I repeat, do not book accommodation at this place I took the reviews and photos etc off the Wotif app believing that what was described in the description was positive therefore booked a night. Unfortunately for us this place is in a very run down state needs a coat of paint to the whole premises, office was closed when we arrived had to chase up someone to book us in, room stunk of overpowering incense, the shower screen was a curtain from the 60's, complaint to Wotif fell on deaf ears I am told to deal with this property's management what a joke.......

Excellent value, spacious room, comfy bed & convenient location. There's a pretty lake plus a dog park within easy walking distace from the motel.
Negatives: bathroom was ancient & in need of renovation. Water pressure & temperature in the shower were poor. Flywire on the door was broken, so lots of mosquitos in the room.

Stayed at the Warrina-
On arrival, went to office for key pick up.
Was mid conversation when receptionist took which seemed to be a person phone call, with no apologies.
On collection of keys, there was an extra fee for my pet to stay. Which is charged Per night/ Per pet. (Just to inform people, as the site I booked on didn’t inform me prior)
Rooms are very outdated.
The room was clearly not cleaned properly before change over, as there was empty food packets around.
Bathroom appeared as it hadn’t been cleaned properly- Tiles had disgusting black mould build up on them, aswell as the WHITE curtains being disgustingly dirty and were brown!
Toilet facilities were also not flushing properly, and appeared like they needed a SCRUB!!

Otherwise… No other issue.

The entry was too hard to spot, very easy to overshoot.
The parking is one way, but roomy enough.
I found there were no face washers offered in the guest towelling, which was weird.....
The step down into the shower was dangerous, especially for my elder mother.
Power points were also oddly laid out.
Having said that, the room was spacious enough, clean, and suitable for our needs at the time.

Family stay with a separate Bedroom

The unit was large enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably with a separate bedroom for the married couple. Amenities for coffee, tea and microwavable food was sufficient. The negatives were that the room had a musty smell and the bathroom lock was broken. Very easy check in and check out. The outdoors area was nice.

Lovely stay.

Great service, immaculate rooms. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. Great pet friendly stay with secure inner courtyard for pets to roam. Friendly reception. The only thing I would comment about would be the shower pressure and the hot water; took a while to heat up and minimal pressure.
