This Ibis hotel is terrible!!
Check in was chaotic. I called earlier in the day to see if it would be possible to check in earlier and they said no, check in is 2pm. At no point did they mention rooms would not be ready on time.
So I arrived at 2:30pm and it was manic. 6 people were standing around asking when their rooms would be ready. I finally got my room key and left.
I got to the room to find there was 1 towel, no water, no hangers, hair dryer was not working and some lights did not work.
The next day, before I left the hotel for the day, I requested my room be cleaned. I arrived back to find my room had not been cleaned.
To make up for all the inconvenience, the manager offered me a complimentary buffet dinner.
I went down for dinner at 8:30pm and there was literally no food left at the buffet. When I asked if the buffet would be replenished, none of the staff knew. I left and went to reception and told them there was no food but many people standing around waiting. I was told it was just replenished. So I went back and they had replenished 2 dishes but a big rush to try and get at the dishes.
I left as I did not feel like fighting for food.
This is the worst hotel, I would not recommend!!

I found cockroaches on the table,
I think the time that I went for breakfast every table was full , I couldn’t find any plates , they didn’t have enough staff to prepare the food , to clean the table, to fill out juices jar to bring the bread. Lots of guests complained. Staff nice .

We arrived at the hotel around 0300am and the reception member of staff was helpful and checked us in.
The room was clean and more than enough for a one night stay after a late flight.
Our room included breakfast but was disappointing, it was very busy! We had to ask for plates and cups etc. and when my partner asked for clean cutlery this was slammed down on the table. The breakfast options were very limited and they had no soya milk. Although we managed to have a hot drink and some toast.
I would say this hotel is ok for one night but definitely not a holiday.

This is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The customer service is absolutely terrible. The front desk staff are rude, unhelpful, and always seem annoyed whenever you ask for anything. Their attitude alone is enough to ruin your stay.

The room conditions were disappointing, the service was slow, and nothing about this place made me feel comfortable or welcomed. For the money they charge, you expect at least basic respect and hospitality, but you won’t find that here.

I definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually values their guests.

I wrote a review and it got deleted somehow so here’s the second one.

The hotel was nice. The room was big and there was a safe in the room. The staff was exceptional, especially the girl from Nepal, but there’s several things that need to be addressed in my opinion.

I was freezing when I first went inside the room and I had to call someone to come upstairs to fix the temperature the maintenance man came immediately and everything was OK for the remainder of my stay

The shower floor was very slippery and I had to put the towel on the floor in order to avoid falling I mentioned this to them, but evidently they didn’t come to address it they also don’t give out hand towels, so I had to use a bath towel all the time and that’s fine

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable There were no problems except for the two mentioned above the other issue had to do with the free shuttle to the airport. It took a long time for the shuttle to come when I landed and as for departing, I was dropped off at the wrong airport terminal. I should not have been dropped off at terminal three but a terminal one since I’m flying.Qatar. So as a result, I had to find a way to go to the other terminal.

If you want a hotel close to the airport, which is very convenient then I recommend this hotel sorry about the typing of this, but I’m running out of time and I can’t go back and fix everything and since I lost the first review, I am not going to do it again

Unfortunately, we were surprised to hear at the reception at 1 o’clock in the morning that our reservation was canceled because they have difficulties credited with the bank. The hotel was fully booked as well as all the surrounding hotels and we have a hell of time to find a room at that time of the night… that was really unprofessional and unpleasant attitude for a well-known hotel chain.

Don’t risk the shuttle

The shuttle was non existent, as a solo female traveller who waited from 1.15am to 2am (waiting outside so it was so hot) I gave up and got an uber. The shuttle came for all the other airport hotels, one came twice. The AC didn’t work, I set it to 18C but it never got below 23. There’s only an overhead shower, and no shower cap so good luck if you don’t want to get your hair wet. The breakfast is ok, I saw photos of great looking coffee but that is a separate shop which is not included.

The welcome reception by Mr. Haris and Mr. Syeed was excellent. Their smiling faces and willingness to offer help, even without being asked - was a great gesture. I must especially highlight my multiple interactions with Mr. Haris; he was consistently professional, highly accommodating, and a true asset to the team. Housekeeping staff were also efficient and courteous, which added to the overall positive customer experience.

That said, in a few instances, I observed some managerial-level staff (judging by their attire) who appeared to take customers lightly. They did not smile - perhaps due to being overwhelmed and at times did not take the extra step to guide or resolve minor issues. While these were rare occurrences do not overshadow my overall positive impression, management should take note of such small lapses. In a competitive market, especially during off-peak seasons when it is truly a customer’s market, these details can make a difference.

Finally, Room 343 offered a reasonably good view, but it was not ideal for sound sleep, as the nearby metro trains serve as a constant reminder that life in Dubai is always vibrant! 😩

My booking was canceled for this hotel since it was late check in after 6pm. But the hotel staff never mentioned this once during booking or even when I called to enquire about the booking. They straight rejected to give a room when we came at 3 am in the night extremely tired, but there was no concern from the hotel staff none so ever.

Upset with the service not front desk

1-Requested for no connection room was not available.
2-Toilet flushing unit, no water going to the tank. Called service Center junior technician came and checked, sometime can and he cannot do any thing and will inform his supervisor to come. After one hour supervisor did not turn up. Called again the service Center. After 15 min the supervisor came and checked the water pressure which was choke.
3-We left the room at around 10am and highlighted to make our room. We saw the cleaner 2 rooms away from our room when we left. When we came back our room wasn’t make up yet. I saw the person in charge of the cleaner out side my room and asked him and he said 15 minutes the cleaner will come. We waited for I hour n called the housekeeper and he said the cleaner is on the way. We were very upset after spent a few hours outside and when we came back our room was not ready.

It is convenient to the airport but it’s a cheap small hotel where no one really cares about you. I left my baby car seat in my room and nobody could tell me where it was, wrote emails came in person on this trip but nobody showed interest in helping. If you looking for somewhere to rest before your flight this hotel works but other than that go elsewhere they have plenty more options

Upon entering the room, a bug was crawling on the ceiling. We asked to move rooms immediately. A domestic fight occurred in the lift and the toddler pool/play area was closed. The breakfast was very expensive. The worker that helped us was very nice and quick.

Not bad for price and airport access

My wife did not sleep well because she said the bed was uncomfortable. Then the hairdryer did not work the next morning, but it was quickly rectified by staff. But I think my wife was most disappointed that there were no washcloths in the room. Maybe it’s a cultural thing in UAE but I do not think so because we had them in our other two hotels in Abu Dhabi and downtown Dubai.

Shuttle bus advertised. Contact hotel several days in advance and they never replied. When I landed and called hotel they advised it was for drop off from hotel only. Hotels.dom or hotel need to correct the details.

Breakfast has a large choice but the quality is poor. They could maybe offer less options and improve quality. Didn’t use after intake visit.

Did a very short stay - in late and out early. Airport shuttle is free but only one way - To the airport, not from. Desk lady was not very helpful when I asked for ice for an injury I had - good eco-friendly, but wouldn’t figure out how to get me an ice pack. The room service guy brought me a bucket of ice and then found a plastic bag to help me - much better customer care.
