Our first room was on the second floor, above the entrance to the hotel. Right in front of the turn about to the highway! Super noisy, we asked to be moved, they said they were full. We asked to be moved the second day, they moved us into a different room. It was better. The staff is super cheerful and accommodating. I feel like the hotel is outdated, there was a huge washing machine in the middle of bathroom. The bathtub in really high off the floor (old tub covered) it felt a little scary and unstable to be honest. Great staff!

Great room, friendly staff, good food, location is fine, close to the shopping mall, metro, shops, bars and restaurants.

The bar is a little pointless, better going to another hotel bar with more room and variety, but that's not really a negative.

The pool was warm and quiet, plenty of machines in the gym, both on the top floor.

Overall, excellent value and I would definitely stay again.

Being an Apartment Hotel the expectation was for the room to have all cutlery and Utensils. This was not the case.
A call to request for some was not acted upon, quite dissapointing given this used to be such a good Apartment Hotel.

Though the TV system and channels worked very well, wide variety.

The concierge team was very helpful corteous always.

Restaurant quite disappointed ordered a mixed grill, was not up to standard at all, completely overcooked and dried up.

The hotel is fabulous located within 5 minutes walk of Deira City Centre Mall and the metro station is within 5 minutes walk too.

The staff are very friendly, responsive and nice and the rooms are very clean with excellent service.

The breakfast is available at property and it’s fairly good though it could do with more continental options.

Overall I loved my stay and look forward to going back soon.

Whenever I go Dubai I try to stay in this hotel. My first stay was in 2001. I was very impressed. The management is changed now but still service is good and staff is very friendly. Main shopping centre is only 5 minutes walk.

The design of the room was perplexing. Except for the coffee machine, with one spare electrical outlet, none were visible. The spare outlet couldn't be used because it had a local 3 prong plug, and a travel adapter would not fit because the outlet had been carved into the stone fascia and blocked the adapter. I have never before seen a washer/dryer in the bathroom. This was located in front of the toilet, leaving the guest with less than 15 inches for his knees. What were they thinking?

The customer service here is beyond words. I got food poisoning from another restaurant the night that I arrived. The hotel helped find me a clinic, a taxi there, and proceeded to check on me a few times throughout the day and even sent me a fruit bowl with a get well soon card. There’s no price for that kind of hospitality. Forever grateful and will absolutely be returning.

Business trip for a week, couple of small issues with requests and only negative is the gym doesn’t open until 8 so couldn’t use before work but over all clean hotel, attentive staff, comfortable rooms and good facilities. Breakfast had a good selection, didn’t eat evening meals there. No issues when there and would stay again.

The studio room i booked was a good size at a very reasonable price. The kitchen was well equipped. However, the staff was awesome!!!! They could not do enough for me including checkin at 1030 am. The property, although old was well cared for. The buffet breakfast is small but food quality and service was great. I highly recommend this property

We enjoyed our stay because of the staff, front desk, security, Ruben, Arlene, Karim everyone were so helpful and made our stay pleasant. The only complain was the room we stayed in. The bathroom specifically the shower, water leaks so the floor was wet every after shower.

J5 A 3 STAR HOTEL LIKE A 5 STAR

I had a pleasant stay at J5 Hotel airport. The staff were all very accomodating. From seurity, to porter, to guest services, cleaners and pool attendant.
The room featured a clothes washing machine (bathroom)
had a small kitchen with stove, microwave cutlerries etc. the only complain i have is the bar fridge was locked where i could not keep my water and drinks cold.
Room was facing the Highway airport wards facing.
since i was on the 10th floor it was quiet for me on the corner end room.
pool was temperature controlled which was soothing to swim in as i did in the evening.
The Mall Dreira is approx a block away.
I will return should i need to stay by the airport again.

One of the best interior designs, 12/10 for my room. Sofa, lamp, pillows, window, flooring, table all top notch. Excellent location. Great AC system, great window air flow, good shower head. 10/10 for cleanliness.

One big issue was front desk 5/10. I asked them to remove and empty the fridge, which was not done. It created discomfort as there were alcoholic beverages, ... in the UAE for a Muslim customer. Imagine if beef jerkey was left in the fridge in India to a Hindu customer or dog meat, or poison for anyone else...etc. Also, it created a sense of uncertainty with all the unpaid expensive products; I did not feel comfortable when I left the room that something would not go missing.

Good value for money. Deira Mall and metro are walking distance. Room spacious, with a microwave, hot plates and a washing machine. The pool is nice but noisy from the next building’s AC system. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast is fair and served at the table. Overall a very good deal in this price range, although it remains a relatively small hotel.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the Dera city center, Very clean & comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the hotel manager. Friendly reception staff makes our trip more interesting. , shops, Restaurants bars are within walking distance. Restaurant staff are great and Swimming pool life guards are very helpful.
