The staff at this resort are AMAZING. They are so kind and detailed oriented. I never had any issue getting what I needed. The resort is gorgeous and I love the location of all of the restaurants bars, pools, and Beach. The way the resort flows together so seamless. The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff came in to check on the room multiple times a day. They were not stingy with towels or bottled water, which I really appreciate and room service was quick! It was not the best food I’ve ever had, but it also was not bad at all. And drinks were great and I definitely would return!

Hotel is beautiful and room was perfect. Since the property is not too large everything is convenient and close by. The spa was wonderful.
There was a lot of seaweed on the beach but by thats part of traveling to the Caribbeand and by our last day they had cleaned a large part of it, plus the pools made up for it.
Food was ok with some major fails in the italian restaurant (plase remove the gnocchi from the menu, it’s atrocious). The staff needs MAJOR training on customer service and hospitality.
The only two redeeming stars were Confesor by the pool and Gerson in the French restaurant. They went above and beyond to make the experience a great one but they cant do it on their own when the people making the drinks or the food are not doing their part.
As a born and raised Dominican now living abroad for the past 20 years I want to see the greatness of my people shine through but when I dont see it in tourism and hospitality, the one activity we take the most pride on and which is also sustaining the country’s economy, it makes me sad when I see this.
Hopefully these are only growing pains and they’re working on better training the staff. In the meantime, please dont portray yourselves as a 5-star hotel.

Amazing!!! I can't never say enough about this resort. This is my second time there and as usual I had such an amazing time. Besides how beautiful and how it immerses you into a sensorial experience with how beautiful it smells, the peace you feel while being there the staff is just amazing!!!! Huge shout to Mariposa, Yohan, Redd and the rest of the entertainment team for being amazing and giving us a great time. Also Yandi, Aneudis, Edward and from the providing us with amazing service while at the pool and beach. Santos from the buffet he remembered me from last time, loved it made my bday breakfast special. Also Juan from the Spa and the rest of the team there really treated me and my niece like queens. Lastly Patrick from the Mexican restaurant thank u for the amazing service provided. I give this resort 10/10.

one thing drove me ballistic, went on the marketplace free excursion, thinking that we were going to an open air market in town... instead got trucked to what i call, a mini wallmart, (very mini).. walked in and almost immediately tuned around... then took close to two hours to get back waiting for a return trip...lost more than a half day on this trip...I was so angry it almost spoiled my whole trip....but our \"cultural\" excursion the following day was great and in the end was more than satisfied with all...

Live Aqua Punta Cana is a beautiful luxury resort with excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the dining experience became repetitive during the stay, as many of the restaurants seemed to rotate the same menu items without offering enough variety. Another downside was the wristband provided to guests who booked through Expedia, which stood out noticeably and felt uncomfortable compared to what other guests were wearing. Overall, it’s a nice resort, but there is definitely room for improvement in food variety and guest experience consistency.

Love love loved this place. Definitely the ideal adult kick back spot, prefect location right by the beach. Live entertainment, different activities daily. I’m a beach gal but if you’re a pool bae poolside with pool bar and restaurant , it is. If you’re a solo traveler I highly recommend you give this location a try. Staff was very helpful, my “butler” made sure my stay was one to remember, connected me with my excursion and added some razzie dazzle to my experience. Property was clean. Food was great. We had a great time! I went with my mom, a mother daughter vacation. It was a bit odd upon checking in, two different people said to my mom she should have came with her husband, kinda dimmed the vibe, as my mom just got a divorce. Buffet is very small compared to other resorts not many opinions, and close early only has breakfast and lunch.For dinner you have to go to one of their restaurants. The Mexican and Japanese restaurants was the best! The pool closes at 7 very early. I do think this resort is made for older couples, or just older crowd, it’s more mellow. Everyone was extremely nice, the food wasn’t the best but it wasn’t bad ether, it was good. Our room was nice, we had the swim up pool & that was luxury! they do have diffuser with sticks for aroma, it was strong we actually had to put it outside because it was giving me a headache, we tipped pretty well and the cleaning lady came twice a day never had to use a towel twice. That was sooo nice. Would I come back here with my mom .. yea maybe. Would I come back here with friends.. no.

We booked the room with the swim up pool. We weren’t aware it was part of the VIP package. It was beautiful. He loved it.
The staff were super welcoming and very nice. Our concierge was Raifer. He was awesome!! He was able to decorate the room for us for my boyfriend’s boyfriend. He also answered my messages in a timely manner every time I needed something. He even got us a a last minute ride to the airport when our transport didn’t come. He was great.
The hotel itself was on the quieter side and beautiful. Very clean and very nice. We were very happy.

We stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana for our honeymoon/anniversary and unfortunately it was one of the worst resort experiences we’ve had.
Check in was lovely, but everything went downhill after that. We booked the Viento Suite because the photos made it appear the pool below was included. It wasn’t. Housekeeping was consistently unacceptable: beds rarely made, turndown service only 2 of 5 nights, and we repeatedly had to request fresh towels and basic cleaning.
We informed the resort ahead of time about our anniversary. Nothing was done. Management later promised a special dinner reservation, but when we arrived the restaurant had no record of it.
The bathroom floor was still dirty and slippery one afternoon around 5 PM and I fell hard, spending the last 3 days of our honeymoon bruised.
The spa was the highlight. Excellent massages and beautiful facilities.
Management did try to make things right on our last night with a beachfront dinner. The food was good, but Spotify ads interrupted the music throughout dinner, which honestly summed up the experience.
We travel often, regularly book suites and luxury resorts, and are not unreasonable guests. We simply expected clean floors, made beds, fresh towels, and decent service.

The property promoted that it was a luxury brand and we did not experience or view and luxury services or treatment during our stay. The pool was dirty , our sheets had stains, the vents were dirty, the end tables by the pool and comp areas were not cleaned, the elevator had smudges and streaks. Good was undercooked or orders were incorrect. The services was inconsistent. We were bamboolzed to attend a time share which took away from our vacation.

Nice property but that’s about it! Poor service all around! Only saving grace was our concierge Raphael which I give 5 stars. Restaurant service was bad and food was not good! Room service took forever to come and when it did it was cold and un eatable ! They gave us cold soup!! Breakfast and lunch buffet was ok ! Pool was ok and not enough activities! Johnny was great he was our server! Spa was ok very limited! The best thing about this resort was the beach! It was beautiful and clean! This place is not on the same level as the live aqua in Mexico which we loved!

The staff was less than attentive, the food was mediocre at best, and there were very limited options included with the “all-inclusive” alcohol choices. We were forced into to a 2 hour time share pitch on the first full day we had on site, and ended up missing the few nice hours that day. When asking our “butler” for help, we were ignored. Our room was cleaned later and later each day causing us to miss a reservation one evening, and the foul sewer smell from the toilet and shower drain in our room was nauseating.

Great resort, didn’t spend much time at the pool but the beach is gorgeous with lots of chairs. The staff were friendly, the food was good. The rooms were great and the entertainment staff was good. Only bad thing I have to say was the service can be slow, I expected that but I’m used to getting drinks before my meal, that didn’t always happen and at times had to remind them about my dinner or lunch drink.

Very happy with my stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana. The hotel was beautiful and the customer service was outstanding. The food and drinks could have been a little better — I would recommend using more natural and organic juices instead of imitation juices, since many of them contained too much sugar. When visiting the Caribbean, I expected more fresh tropical juice options. That was my only complaint.
A special thank you to my butler, Mr. Smerlyn, who provided exceptional customer service. He checked on me every day and always made sure I had the daily program and activities schedule.

Mi experiencia en Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el momento en que llegué hasta el último minuto de mi estadía, el nivel de atención y servicio superó completamente mis expectativas.

Rooms are amazing! All of them have an outdoor Jacuzzi. Service is great! Food pretty good and consistent. We love the Japanese restaurant. What i loved the most is that all restaurants are walk ins and you do not have to make reservations.

We stayed in a Viento Suite. It is very spacious with plenty of seating options. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge was stocked with plenty of drinks to enjoy and this level also include bottles of vodka, gin, and scotch. The view from the balcony of the beach was amazing, but the view from the rooftop patio was even better. We also enjoyed the jet tub on the balcony. We had a “butler” (Reynaldo) who was very helpful any questions we had. The resort is rather large, so we certainly got plenty of walking in going back and forth to the main building at the back where most of the restaurants are. We had dinner in each of the four main restaurants (French, Italian, Mexican, and Japanese) with our favorites being the French and Japanese, where we went with the Hibachi option. The beach might be the best sand I have experienced anywhere. It did get hot in the dry sunny areas, but in the shade and along the shore it was perfect. The pool situation here is kind of weird, because there are technically so many of them. All of the ground level suites are swim up from separate pools along the front of each building. Then there is a “quiet” pool in the center, that didn’t appear to be used much. Then there is the large pool with the swim up bar, which is where we went. We have never had a desire to return to any reaort we have visited in the past, but this is certainly a place we will go back to.

Everything was great! If I had to change one thing it would be the live music would go longer. The staff was amazing! Our butler Reynaldo was the best and always available! The bartender in the VIP was our favorite one and so nice and helpful! Always made sure we got what we needed!

At check-in, I expected at least some recognition of my Expedia VIP status, such as a complimentary upgrade or added perk. Instead, I was offered paid upgrades ($120 and $360), which I declined. Shortly after, I was told that VIP benefits couldn’t be honored due to “availability,” even though upgrades were clearly being offered for purchase. The only gesture we received was a bottle of wine on the second night, which felt like an afterthought and didn’t add much value.
I also noted in my reservation that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday (and mine shortly after). I had seen the hotel do simple birthday touches for other guests, so I expected at least something small like a decoration or note. Unfortunately, nothing was prepared. When I reached out, the manager came to the room—not to resolve the issue—but to try to sell me third-party services like flowers, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional.
Another disappointing aspect was the aggressive sales pitch from staff promoting a subscription-style travel discount program. Fantastic, great walkable size, cozy, yet lively at times resort! I would definitely return! Loved our Butler Ivan! The absolute best! He made our entire trip special day and night as we came to celebrate our 10 year Wedding Anniversary. Highly suggest if booking to have aqua club access! Japanese restaurant was our favorite! And Liberi was nice for breakfast and lunch.

The gym equipment was modern with Ellipticals and treadmills with screens allowing you to work out virtually in various places in the world. The pools were very well maintained and the beach very nice and clean.
The shows were quite good, we saw a circus show which was impressive and a few shows with cuban dancers that were exceptional and a few bands. The music was a little too loud however, places to sit to watch the outdoor show registered between 89 and 94 db regularly, this is a level that causes short-term hearing loss. Our room was at the far end of the building closest to the show place and though well insulated we could still hear the music. The food at the restaurants was very good in general except one day when we had an undercooked chicken burger at the grill near the beach. The buffet was good if you had items cooked fresh, but some of the other food under the heating lights seemed a bit stale/dry.
Despite some of the slight negatives we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff and facilities were absolutely fantastic. When we arrived, they were always very professional and welcoming. Our shower drained was clogged and it was fixed within 30 minutes. The food and drinks were truly all inclusive and I cannot begin to describe how shocked I was from their quality. Their steaks, ceviche, hibachi, and buffets were next level for an all-inclusive resort. Their spa was great. I got a massage and they had hydrotherapy and dry saunas that you could use prior to massage. Would 10000% come back.

The Rooms are awesome but the outdoor surrounding features such as cosmetics outside of resort is nothing special. The restaurants are at best 3 stars maybe less The is not enjoyable. They nickle and dime you for any common amenities that are free everywhere else, such as beach accommodations, house wines are terrible they charge you 6,0000 to 7000 pesos for a bottle of wine upgrade that only cost $ 7.99 dollars anything that they can make money they charge you. Drinks are not that great weak and bad liquor. The beach view is regular nothing extraordinary. This supposed to be all inclusive $500.00 night. Not worth it. They are also building a family resort feets from the all adult resort which is suicide. I don't recommended it at all l. This is realy a 7.8*.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana to celebrate her milestone 30th birthday. While much of the resort was beautiful, our final night completely changed our experience.
We paid extra for a Romantic Dinner on the beach, expecting a premium four-course experience. Instead, we were ignored, skipped while other couples were served, and waited over two hours without receiving the meal nor any refill on drinks. We ultimately left without being served the full experience. The “replacement” offered was a standard all-inclusive dish in our rooms, not the private beach dinner we paid for.
As a same-sex couple, the treatment felt dismissive and discriminatory. Although management later apologized and promised a full refund, we had to follow up repeatedly & ultimately was ignored. I had to dispute the charge with my bank.
I’m sharing this so other LGBTQ+ travelers are aware. It’s not worth it, we even had Aqua Club. That does not guarantee respectful or equitable treatment.

They had more activities & fun things to do than I expected! Only thing missing that we would have liked was tennis or pickleball courts.
Restaurants were all good- especially loved the French restaurant (chez rose), the Mediterranean restaurant above the main pool (Huzur) and the Asian hibachi at Seishin. Also really enjoyed food at the buffet, sports bar and Italian restaurant too!

ERIC (the butler) was on point! I’ve never received such a great service from any butler in my past. He stayed on point with everything, making sure every request was accommodated, replied to our messages within less than a minute! He mentioned all the services offered in our booking and made sure we got to experience it!

As far as the resort - I stayed with my partner 3 nights at the TIERRA SUITE room for 1K per night. Communication with the resort prior to the arrival was hard so I had to go extra mile to get attention. I was disappointed with the quality of the room for so much money. The floor was dirty, had to change my socks 3x a day, we killed 2 ROACHES during our stay, missing shower gel, the resort could def improve as far as cleaning goes. When we reported to the front desk at the VIP section about roaches it seemed like the staff was not surprised at all. My boyfriend got bitten by a bug during our last night at the resort! The food was ok around the resort, could be better.. the outdoor section was the nicest in Tierra suite with private pool but I will not be going back to that resort for sure. The roaches are unacceptable for $1000 per night.
