Slow check in was keen I was given a rating card without telling where my room was. Room was not clean wrappers and rubbish in the bin, tried to order room service rang out several times no answer. I went down and ordered my meal directly with the bar, After a 40 minute wait it finally arrived old and missing items. The curry was more bones than meat and missing nan bread, the cheese board no chutney. Again tried calling no answer. I tried to discuss this at check out. Was told I wasn’t alone many customers complained about missing food, no refund offers for missing items or apology

One of the most terrible experiences I have had in a hotel . Booked two nights on Expedia and the room given was noisy , poor heating . Complained and nothing was done . Felt like I was sleeping outside.No breakfast for the two days . Paid for extra night and then room was changed and this time was told could have breakfast the following morning . Told breakfast was meant for 1 and that we should pay for second person despite the fact that I booked the room for two. Never going back there

Got stuck in the lift at one point and couldn’t go to any floor. The tv wasn’t working aswell so had to call staff up. And overall cleanliness was okay. Got woken up by a loud bang at night time. Staff were okay, at reception I told them I paid for parking already through a parking app and one of them said I had to pay £2000 fine as it wasn’t their policy, which I didn’t find funny.

Staff was lovely and very helpful, however the room had terrible WIFI and no cell service. Room was also tired and had stains on the carpet. Fine to stay at but not worth the money.

Initial GB£ 50.00 deposit required at reception, even though room booked and paid for in advance, advised approx 7-10 days to credit balance back. Disappointing room located directly behind the lift shafts, needless to say made for broken nights sleep. Bathroom, shower door wouldn't close wet bathroom floor, reported to reception on check out. Limited bar menu for food, car parking expensive (very expensive at GB£ 26.00), overall very average, especially for the price and star rating of the hotel chain.

The quality of this hotel is of a high standard. I have stayed here before. This time round the only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars was that there was a party on one of the floors and some of the music bass was audible and affected our sleep. However the quality of the shower alone would make me come back

The cleaning staff would replace towels and tidy the bathroom, and make the beds, but consistently ignored my requests for clean sheets. Awful Queue management but otherwise good hotel
Come to park Regis often. Normally everythings great top to bottom. This time crazy queues waiting to be checked in. Guy and girl at reception were jumping between queues. Proper amateur hour. Wasted 15/20 mins standing around. A lovely Asian lady with a head band/scarf came out of the office to serve me. She was so professional and genuine. Gave me choice of room, made my poor start so much better. She was top drawer. Wish I got her name. Everything else was decent as it always is.

I stayed at Park Regis on Friday 11th July, a one-night stay booked by my partner as a birthday treat. While there were some positives, unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.

However, our stay was let down by the quality of sleep. We were given Room 1101, which is positioned directly beside the lift shaft. After returning late from an event, I was hoping for a restful night, but from around 7:30am, the sound of the lift going up and down became constant and disruptive. I wasn’t able to get back to sleep and started the day feeling tired and frustrated — not ideal on what was supposed to be a relaxing occasion.
I shared this feedback with the hotel, and while they responded politely, they incorrectly stated that I had booked a standard room and recommended upgrading to a Deluxe or Executive room next time. In fact, I had booked a Deluxe Room. When I raised this point, they stopped responding, which I found disappointing and unprofessional.
A good night’s sleep should be the bare minimum expectation when staying in a hotel. While the service and cleanliness were good, the layout of the room, the lift noise, and the lack of proper follow-up from staff meant that the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations.
