This place was very convenient to both the historic sites as well as the beaches area. The pool was peaceful and quiet. So was the property. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I was able to use the cart to bring my personal belongings to the elevator into my room, both upon arrival and departure. Very convenient. I would stay again as well.

I went down over memorial Day weekend. The location is very good if you want to go into town or go to the beach you're kind of in between. Easy to get to. The issue is with the towels and the room. We're only given two towels, and they were thin as paper and as scratchy as glass on sandpaper. The air conditioner was very loud and to make the room comfortable it had to be set very low. The TV remote control was just basically a pain in the ass. And the TV was poor quality .

Checked in went to the room to find it smelled of mold and mildew, there were stains all over the comforter in one room and the other had holes burnt in the blanket. Sheets and towels were dingy yellow room just appeared to be unclean and unkept. The shared balcony door did not lock and was difficult to open. There was no climate control. Went straight down to the office to notify them they got angry telling us nothing was wrong with the room. I tried to check out so we wasn’t charged for the rest of our stay they refused to check us out or give anything showing we wasn’t staying. Very disappointed with the entire situation. Do not waste your time or money at this place. 3 other families were experiencing the same thing in the hour we were in the lobby trying to resolve similar situation.

Room smell dusty, But that's the least of the nightmare, I drove 3 hours all I wanted was peace a retreat on my grief to commemorate my belated husband and connect with Jesús at the beach. Everything ruined. I was crying of course when I got there I was hugged in appropriately by the co manager. I went to the room and took precautions closing the door with extra security. Next day I was going to the beach after 11 am and first thing out of my room he was cleaning the room before mine little I imagined it was him. Nexr thing I was rushing myself and he came and stopped me to ask if I was feeling better because he hate seeing women cry hugged me again. He told me that it's good to talk and find friends???!!! And said I have a wife but I can't stand her. This lady came out of nowhere like crazy started cursing and yelling. She made me go to the office I thought she was going to return the money and leave no!! She didn't let me go for o er 3 hours kept me in the office yelling and crying and cursing. For what I perceived it's an abused woman and he played innocent. To finish she followed me to my car when I finally got to leave and told me go to the beach your going to like it. Come back and I want to talk to you again. She went back to the office I ran and picked my stuff and called Expedia for nothing no replacement for the next night. I end up filling a police report against the owners. That people are CRAZY. My whole retreat was a messed.I just came back home and cried.

Awful experience. Booked through Expedia and when we got there found out the price was for 2 people not 4 even though 2 queen beds. So the hotel charged $50 more. Also the AC was off in the room they gave us and the hallways. It was literally 100 outside so that’s a great way to create humidity /mold in your rooms. Needless to say we left and because I booked through Expedia lost the $150 I put on the room. Worst experience ever don’t stay here.

Good for a budget and short stay

This is a Ma and Pa operation run by a couple. It's basically a two person operation, they run the desk, clean the rooms, do the landscaping and clean pool. Its chief value is that it's quite inexpensive, but fairly bare bones, Very clean rooms. No decorations or art in the room. But it's comfortable, albeit dated. Very small bathroom (even in the \"executive suite\"). But the couple is very friendly, and caring, and tries very hard. They want their customers to be satisfied So, if you're on a budget, and having a short stay, good choice on Anastasia Beach, practically next-door to a very nice park with a boardwalk that gives beach access.

The covers, towels, and carpets were not clean and they have huge stains and scorch that was probably because of smoking. The bathroom is not clean. There is no enough soap or shampoo. Even if we have enough of it, their quality is no good! The only thing that is good about the hotel is its location. Except for the location, unfortunately, it is a mess and a waste of money (really!). The people at the registration were helpful, smiling, and friendly. When we got there at 3:00 the gentleman stated he tried to run our card that morning and it was declined. Walked into the room stale, damp smell. There were holes in the sheets and bedspread. Stains on the sheets and shower curtain. I wanted this room because of the jetted tub. It is a big tub and my husband was going to be able to get in it. But it was nasty looking with multiple patching and stains. Towels were extremely rough and tattered. We went and got dinner decided there was no way we would be able to sleep so we left. Also, you have a small parking area and have to climb stairs to get to the 2nd floor. I guess they did not have elevators. I have arthritis and could not do it. We knew from conversations checking in the manager was not going to cooperative so just left that night and emailed him. Of course he replied and gave his side and said no to a refund. At least they can use new sheets bedspreads and shower curtains. It was disgusting!!
