I have to say most coffees when you travel in your room is awful and I need to tell you the coffee in this room was excellent
I didn’t like several things though
I didn’t care for the shower because the showerhead was too high and no grab bars at all. You don’t have to be disabled, handicap, or old, to need grab bars.
Next is no microwave in the roomand I was told it was because they didn’t want to smell of food in the hallway and then I saw on a review that they say they don’t have them because it’s European . To be honest, I don’t care all I know is there was no microwave and I’ve done a lot of traveling and there’s always been a microwave..
It also advertise that there was breakfast and yet we didn’t have a voucher so you didn’t get breakfast.
I didn’t see anything online about needing a voucher. I just saw that they had breakfast..
We also have to pay for parking which was $10 a day. I’m not sure if it stated that but I do know that whether you got a space underground or outside yet pay the $10 where’s the fairness in that?
I can understand if they had limited space in the underground and you’d have to pay $10 but if your car is out in the elements, why are you paying $10?
I just think they need to look at what they offer and either change it or add it correctly to the description

I had an emergency and spoke directly with the manager. During that conversation, he told me that if Expedia approved the refund request, he would honor it. However, when Expedia contacted the property, I was informed that he repeatedly disconnected the call and later stated that he never agreed to approve the refund. This directly contradicts what he told me during our conversation and has left me feeling misled and disappointed.

The check in area was a little hard to find but the check in process was easy. Room was surprisingly roomy and very comfortable. Bed was awesome. Location is walkable to downtown. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff. We are coming back next month for a concert and definitely will stay here.

The location was great. The decor inside the hotel was great. The made-to-order breakfast was wonderful. Most of the staff was great. The covered parking was nice. The entrance is on the side of the building which was not easily visible at night. The bathroom towel rod was rusty and the drain in the shower was lower than the shower floor which made the floor uneven. The TV service was very slow. There was no dinner option at the restaurant as advertised.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bar and pool areas were nice but the terrace was closed to all guests, there was no restaurant for dinner and unfortunately the location of the hotel was not really within a comfortable walking distance of anything of interest. The hotel design, on the outside, could be described as nautical deco and a wonderful piece of preserved old Floridian architecture! It is worth a stay just to experience that history. However, on the inside it is a want-to-be funky space, that when it had been redecorated sometime in the past, I am sure it was amazing, but now anything that once made it comfortable, homey, and welcoming seems to be long gone. Such as the over-sized pots throughout the entrance and lobby that once held beautiful tropical plants are now empty and collecting dust and the faux boxwood wall coverings that are now dull and old or the outdated lighting fixtures all help to make the space feel a little sad and does not reflect the beautiful architecture of the outside of the building. On my day of check-out I was surprised to find that there was no staff in the building that could check me out. So all and all some disappointments.

Cute & swank but for the price? Never again. Breakfast costs $30 extra, parking another $10. Don't boast about breakfasts then sneak a charge for it. And for the love of it, do not boast about a rooftop pool.. I've seen kiddie pools that are bigger. Loved the Nespresso machine in the room but overall, this hotel was not worth the money when ADA accommodations are needed and requested before checking in. The hotel room was too small for even a walker to get in past the tv/dresser to get to the sleeping area of the rooms. Other than that, loved St. Augustine.

The AIRPLAY in room 202 was not working. Frustrating because I was trying to stream some work but could not. The bridge is not too far - you can walk, takes about 20 minutes to walk to the bridge down to the main St Augustine area - not too far at all.

We did not like the fact the bar was closed due to some license issue, the terrace was closed also. There was no microwave in the room, they said it is a European hotel chain and microwaves in the rooms are not common. The coffee options were a weird coffee machine in the room that made horrible coffee or you could buy coffee at the restaurant for $4.50. No complimentary coffee. The menu options in the restaurant for breakfast were very limited, I think there were 3 or 4 options and nothing was less than $18.

It's a pet-friendly hotel, and in the mornings, some neighbor with their pet would wake me up early. However, if the children or we raised our voices even slightly in the hotel lobby, where the bar is also located, we would get scolded... Unbelievable!

It took a while to get checked in because the desk clerk couldn't get logged into the computer. The room was fine except the bathtub had either rust stains or ground in dirt inside it. We prepaid for breakfast that was until 10am, yet got an attitude when we arrived at 9:15, being told we just made it on time. They only had a few meals to choose from and were out of a couple items so we were limited. My husband ordered and I said I would have the same thing, but when the food finally came out over an hour later, there was only one meal. The server stated I said I didn't want anything, which is not what I said. She was very rude the whole time we were there and argued about the mistake she made. We ended up having to go somewhere else to eat. The manager was nice and refunded our breakfast, but didn't make up for our waste of time. I usually stay at IHG hotels, but was quite dissappointed with this one.

Some things they don’t tell you - parking is NOT free it is paid $10 per night. I am not sure why the reviews and things said it was free. It was also so loud I couldn’t sleep. There is a super busy bar right next door and the hotels windows are paper thin you hear all the noise. The AC in the wall is also loud. I would not recommend for those who are sensitive to noise.

The staff were attentive, but it clear that the hotel has seen better days in terms of the upkeep and property maintenance. I also did not appreciate being nickel and dimed over every service, including a $5 fee to park my car when parking was not an issue in the area. The breakfast was also very limited, and I did not learn that the meal was not included until I after I ate.Moreover, the price of the meal was a bit shocking, especially since I told them that I did not want bacon.

We arrived on the premises a little prior to check-in time and we were delighted to see our room was ready. When in St-Augustine last time prior, we had stayed at the famous CM hotel but weren't enamored with the $500 room so decided to try something else this time around. Although this hotel is located across the bridge from OLD St-Augustine, it was totally worth it. Let's start with the manager, Erick. He made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. They have a nice Wine & Beer area and right on the other side of the doors, a nice pool area. The atmosphere is fresh, clean and modern, properly taken care of. I don't think you can find a better managed hotel for the price. Staying on the \"other\" side of the bridge was well worth it, especially with the FREE Parking ( most hotels charge $25/night for parking ) and would definitely recommend it to anybody who is looking for a great and affordable hotel in St-Augustine.

The hotel is new and fabulously kept up. The check-in host was fantastic and we took advantage of two of his recommendations which ended up being amazing! Dinner at the black flag was so wonderful and the staff there was amazing too.
