The accomodations were above my expectations. Rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast was as expected.

Parking is by valet only and an additional $29.00 a night plus tax. This is not fully explained on their website or at Expedia. Having said that there was never a delay to get our car and the valets were very courteous.

On check out there was an error on charges for the valet service as we had 2 rooms and only 1 car. Both rooms were charged. Front desk person couldn't reverse and manager was not on duty. This did get corrected by end of day.

I would stay here again and factor in valet service. The surprise left a damper on our stay.

The hotel was very nice. It was clean, the rooms were spacious and the patio/pool area were very nice and welcoming to hangout and enjoy the view of the river. The gym had everything needed and it was modern and spacious.
The property was only a few minutes away by car from downtown, which was ideal for our group, although be aware that parking at downtown can be a bit difficult at times.
The breakfast was nice an d fresh, however the two nights we stay there they were missing waffles. They could also add more topping for the oatmeal.
Lastly the only thing that I did not like was that valet parking is a mandatory. There is no option for self parking.

The rooms were really spacious and nicely decorated. The parking attendants were super friendly and helped the guest find cool places to check out in St. Augustine. The property was well maintained. The bridge to the downtown area was closed, so it was a little longer walk than we planned for. My only complaint was the lack of waffles in the breakfast area and the breads were not well stocked. I ended up with oatmeal, which could have used some brown sugar and/or nuts. The breakfast area was clean and offered a great view of the river. If your room sits on the river side, you should be able to see the historical area. Otherwise, you have a view of the parking lot and a road. The rooms were quiet.

Management wasn’t truthful or helpful when I needed help adjusting a rate. I downgraded from what I was charged and she said she didn’t see any change in price on her end, that they didn’t price match and made multiple excuses not to help me. Hilton does price match. I would think they’d definitely price match their own website. She stated she couldn’t go off their website. The place was lovely, but don’t expect management to help if you.

Slightly run down rooms that need to be better looked after. Shower was filthy with water residue buildup, dirty spots on floor annd walls and paint falling off the ceiling. Bed and pillows lumpy and old. Breakfast and front desk staff was the only thing going for the hotel. Plus they charge you a valet fee which is not really necessary at the hotel since there’s plenty of parking to do it yourself and this isn’t a fancy hotel. They should also put on this site that the road is blocked off to walk to the downtown area because of construction.

The free breakfast was what you would expect. The property was clean and updated. The room had a nice kitchenette. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was that the bridge closest to the hotel was closed for construction. Made it a bit harder to walk to the town center. Only a short Uber ride though. Would book this property again.

Good service. Nice staff. The parking is very expensive at $29 per day. We didn’t expect to even pay for parking. It would be good to get better paper towel holders. Beautiful courtyard with nice outdoor clean pool. Good breakfast, with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage and all the usual good stuff. Very good oatmeal with nice toppings. Nice size room with nice furnishings, including a desk and nice desk chair.

The room was clean, but not enough towels or toilet paper. The one time I depended on a hotel for their shampoo/conditioner/body wash that’s usually provided, there was no conditioner when I needed it. The kitchen had utensils, which was nice, for the ice cream treat we picked up, though.

One major complaint, is that we had to park our lifted truck ourselves, but were still charged a valet fee, which is complete nonsense.

Also, breakfast is only okay. Not the best, not the worst.
Staff is great.
Room is very clean; however I did notice the tub was quite slippery. I'm an older person so it did cause a concern.
Would stay again, however, and proximity to historic downtown is close.

Loved the space but absolutely did not like the open sink area, sleeping people do not want to hear your noise. The shower/ toilet area was not enough space for privacy, just very disappointed with that bathroom/ sink layout. Another, very obvious issue was the smeary cleaning job on the appliances, didn’t look clean at first impression upon arrival, ughhh….
Otherwise the staff were courteous and very accommodating, we enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay at homewood suites in St Augustine. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit St Augustine.

PS I hate the valet parking, not worth .the money.

Stayed there a week and while while looking for houses in St. Johns and the stay was nothing to write home about. The House Keeping and the communication between and from the staff at the hotel does need improvement. Even though room \"refreshing\" is said to be done every alternate day, we had to chase these guys to get our room \"refreshed\" after 4 days. The pool was nice, but make sure to ask for towels before you go, as there were many times none were stocked by the pool. Lastly, if you are planning on working form the property, be prepared. Not only is the internet not great but we had a whole day of no internet (where folks could not check in and had to be escorted to their rooms to open them). So, I used my phone as a hot spot. Definitely an eye opener.

The bridge was closed so you had to walk out of your way to get downtown, this was not mentioned on the web site. The bathroom sink did not drain, and the bathroom light made a a small sound when ever it was turned on. If you were using it as a night light it was very annoying.

This hotel was well located IF you have a car to get into downtown St Augustine. They have a valet service, but honestly it is much quicker to self park. There's a daily parking fee so be mindful of that. Hotel overall was good and the breakfast options were varied.

Valet is not optional and an additional $29 per night plus tipping. Arrived @3:30. Had to wait till exactly 4 to check-in. By 4 it was 6 people deep and only 1 employee to check in.
Hotel was nice and clean otherwise.
Wish we knew bridge was closed prior to booking. Could not walk to downtown.

Required valet parking for this property feels like a complete rip-off. There’s just a very short walk from the parking lot to the main entrance. Bathrooms are starting to show age. Decent night stay but also wouldn’t go back.

Ladies worked hard to keep breakfast foods available and to keep the area clean. Staff was excellent. Pool area clean, towels provided. Nice place and fun to sit on patio in the evening. Will be nicer when King St. bridge is open and the crane is gone. Be aware there is a parking fee!

We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable room overlooking the bay…only one complaint - we hated the valet service for parking ! It was bad enough paying $29 a day for parking (tips extra), but having to submit to valet service every time we went out and returned was a bummer. I dont like anyone driving my car except myself…

Breakfast ended at 930. 2 of the 3 mornings majority of the breakfast was put away by 845. Also when booking the reservation it said valet covered parking. Multiple times my vehicle was just in an open parking lot connected to the hotel. Definitely not covered. 29 dollars a night and I have 2 dings in my door. The room was nice besides a musky smell when the room got warm.

The staff was great but for the nights I was there I was not able to get a comforter for the sofa bed and my kids were covered with towels for 2 nights. I kept calling and asking for a comforter not an extra one just one for that bed and they told me the last night they didn’t have anymore and apologized. I feel I should get a partial refund of $250 for the discomfort my family felt during our stay at the hotel. We actually like it and it is our second time at this location. Terrible. $29 for parking which Expedia did not announce. This was for valet parking, but I had to park my car? Rude front desk service. Breakfast was below average. They allow dogs, but there's no place for a dog to go. There was a park nearby, but a mentally ill homeless person was staying there in his office chair. The bed was very uncomfortable and the fitted sheet never stayed on the bed. The had two buses full of high school kids that over ran the pool and hotel with little to no supervision. I will never use a Hilton hotel or Expedia again!

It’s a good hotel, but I don’t understand why a pet-friendly hotel has carpet in the rooms. I also didn’t see the need for valet parking, especially with a $29 per day charge it didn’t seem necessary. But overall, it was good for our family to stay there for two nights.
One more thing: when we arrived after 4 PM, the room wasn’t available. They ended up putting us in a room for guests with disabilities.

Had somebody bang hard and loud two times on my door. Called the front desk and after three times calling someone finally answered. I ask for security to come check out the floor and the front desk did nothing. I slept with the light on. No resteraunt and no room service that sucked.

Food from previous guest was left in refrigerator. Told the desk clerk and she called the manager; we were told we would receive extra points for the problem. Did not happen!
Breakfast had no boiled eggs and only oranges and apples for fruit. Oatmeal was instant packets in the crock. Eggs and pancakes were cold. Not a good selection. Very disappointed!
