I had a pair of white socks and they were black like the floor was not clean. Shower curtain was mildewed. Bottom shelves were dusty on furniture just not clean. They never came into clean the room the whole stay. I had to go to front desk to ask for towels each day. They advertised coffee in the room but there was no maker and was told I would have to go to the lobby of if I wanted coffee but it was closed at night and not open until 6 am. So no early morning coffee for me.

We got 3 rooms for 2 nights and 2 out of 3 rooms flooded. Nothing was done to remedy this . Our 80 year old parents almost fell when they woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and the floor was completely flooded!!

This hotel is older but has been updated. The lobby was very pretty. Our room was very large and smelled good. The air-conditioner was probably the best we've ever had in a hotel room! Breakfast was basic - nothing special. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And, the Old Town Tour Trolley sent their shuttle bus to pick us up and then took us back. We ordered dinner from Carrabba's - delivered by DoorDash - and it was awesome!

Upon checking in, the lobby was clean and the staff member was pleasant. Check in was fairly simple. We were given our room cards and a slip with the wifi information/password on it. The wifi never worked. Room was clean, no frills, which was fine. First night, the Television stopped working. Next morning, went to the free breakfast in the lobby. Way below average. It is understood that typically the free breakfasts that are offered are not gourmet or fancy - that was not the expectation. However, this free breakfast was truly not good. The eggs and the sausage were basically rubber. We opted to go out to breakfast the following morning. We notified the front desk of the television issue and the maintenance man came out and fixed. He was very helpful and pleasant. No real issues with the staff, they were nice, however, front desk did not really want to help. Asked them how to get to a certain tourist spot (which was only about 8 minutes from the hotel and was told to Google it. They do allow dogs, which is great for dog owners. We had some dogs below us and all night heard barking and whining. Was not the right hotel for us and we will more than likely not be back, even though the price was fair.

This was my 4th trip to St Augustine. .decided stay on the outskirts, as the Flagler offered on site parking+ got good reviews . Most of those reviews must’ve been written by friends /family of the owners the breakfast was disgusting, I got sick after eating a bagel with cream cheese. Do not stay here!.

We booked 2 nights but left after the first night. The bathroom was so small you couldn't even turn around and was filthy. They painted all the rust around the shower which was all chipped away. There wasn't a coffee maker or coffee in the room and when we went to the desk she said they don't offer it in any room. My advice is don't stay here. Live and learn

We had such an “amazing” experience that we lasted a full 4–5 hours before leaving.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear cleanliness was more of a suggestion than a standard. The floors were sticky, the headboard looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in years, and the sofa was covered in stains that I didn’t even want to think about. The bathroom? Let’s just say the mold in the shower was thriving.

The room also doubled as a walk-in freezer thanks to a broken AC unit that was stuck blasting cold air. Naturally, the bed came with what can only be described as decorative sheets—no real blankets. When we asked for another blanket, we were given a thin, stained sheet that somehow made things worse.

After a few hours of freezing, avoiding surfaces, and questioning our life choices, we decided to cut our losses and leave.

If you’re looking for a place that redefines “basic cleanliness” and “comfort,” this might be for you. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend staying literally anywhere else.

This property had very nice common areas. We got in very late and think because they were likely fully booked and we needed an accessible room we got a room that hadn’t been used or cleaned thoroughly for a while.
The sheets were stained. We requested clean sheets and were some new ones right away. But because of the musty scent in the room and my asthma I couldn’t sleep in the room and kept having asthma attacks all evening. I ended up sleeping in our rental van outside our room. My husband said he slept comfortably. If my health was better I could have possibly stayed as well.
I am not sure that the other rooms would have had the same issues as the other reviews are good.
We ended up moving to a different hotel because of my health.

Our room was clean but the shower was in poor condition and not clean. The water at the bathroom sink did not drain. The air condition was wonderful and the mattress were extremely comfortable. There are chairs outside the room with a table and ashtray, we did not use them but there were too many people sitting outside our room smoking which freaked me out.

it's an old building and they try to keep it clean. The shower mixer could not be fixed so I had a cold shower day 1, scaling shower on day 2 and very hot shower on day 3. with no water pressure. its a big room with a refrigerator and microwave. it's an old building- kinda a cleaned up dump. I think they should have offered something for the shower issue. but nothing..

The lady at the front desk was not overly friendly. She did give me a downstairs room because I am a bit older and I have a bad knee. The room did not look bad. A little outdated and the bathtub was clean but you could tell it it was just old and well used. I did have a puppy and she could get in places that I guess they didn't clean regular. So there was all sorts of things that she got from behind the bed. And my towels, They were clean and rolled up but they were still wet which was a little bit gross. Breakfast was ok. All in all the place was decent

First room AC was broken. Moved to a new room and bathroom light broke at 10 pm. Had to shower and use the bathroom in the dark until the following morning when it was repaired. Mold growing on bathroom wall. Other than this, clean room, good location, and super friendly and helpful staff.

First, the on-line photos never revealed this was a motel. The photos of the rooms were not truly representative as our room was severely dated. One of the 2 queen beds in our room was on a makeshift frame that kept moving.

Then learned of much nicer places in the area at comparable prices that were actual hotels!

The shower curtain and floor had mold.
The stairs and landing were in need of sweeping. We were given one washcloth with the towels and one roll of toilet paper for the room.

The room was big but, the floor was filthy. I wiped up some water that fell on the floor and the paper was black. That floor had not been mopped in weeks. The sofa bed had crumbs all over the it and the mattress was all springs and full of stains. Absolutely disgusting. The furniture in the room looked like they got it from a dumpster, The breakfast was okay. If the room would have been clean and the sofa bed in decent condition it would have been so much better. I guess you get what you pay for. My mistake, never again.

I did not use the pool or activity room.
The Internet was unstable when I was there at night.
My room was in general clean, it did need a deep cleaning like on walls and curtains. The room will benefit from a new AC unit, this one would make a loud noise, the water dripped outside by the steps, I did report that, it was a safety hazard.
Lastly, at night you will hear the loud train which for me, sounded like every hour on the dot; the second night I heard it less, maybe I was pretty tired.
If I would go back, yes.

For the price I really can’t complain. Especially when it does include a basic hot breakfast which is much better than the typical continental breakfast at most places. My only issue was the train. There is nothing the hotel can do about it, but there is a crossing close to the hotel. The first night I was there the train went through 5 times blowing the horn 4 times at each pass. The rest of the time it was twice a night. If you are a light sleeper of struggle to fall back asleep keep that in mind.

This is a cute little hotel near the historic center of St. Augustine. It is not within walking distance. The property is older but well maintained. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.It was quiet and felt very safe. They had the typical free breakfast, nothing to get excited about. I would definitely recommend this place as an affordable option for a St. Augustine vacation.

It has a Flaglar Inn sign, but your charged to a different Inn. The pictures are misleadong as I thought i was at the original Flaglar Inn.

I asked for toilet paper since i didnt have any maid service for the whole time i was there, 4 nights, and i did t get it. I Had to go to the front desk. Then my shower curtain and rod fell off the wall. If it wasnt for the air conditioner drowning out all the outside noise, people smoking right outsode my room and I dont smoke. Plus, you can tell they don't sweep the balcony. Lots of lint, hair and dirt in front of my room.
Leason learned. Its close enough to walk to center but I will not stay there again.

There was a lot wrong. The AC wasn't working until an attendant came and fixed it. The toilet rocked. The fridge froze my beer. There was no knob to control the temperature. There was no hot water. It was lukewarm. No end table on one side of the bed. No coffee maker in room. Very noisy at night.
