I loved this place so much! Our room at the beach was perfect! Wonderful view, great soaking tub, comfortable bed, very spacious…. The crows nest was such a bonus, too.
The breakfast delivery was a very thoughtful touch, but needs a little work. The staff was always very quick to answer any texts that I sent, and were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property (and already have!)

It would be nice to have a little sink in kitchen area. Bottom unit could use some sound deadening—could hear loud walking from second floor unit. The floors were extremely dirty—wearing socks turned them black. Breakfast was great. Did not do cocktail hour. Beach access and views were awesome. Our patio area needed a little cleaning. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would go back again. Thanks.

Possibly the freshest-smelling, comfiest bed I've slept in. We enjoyed three nights here on spring break. The breakfast & happy hour deliveries were the cherry on top! So nice to return to after exploring the city or the beach (5-10 min away). The staff were so accommodating to us. Our trip coincided with a cold snap — so the comfy couches & lounge areas upstairs on the deck were just the place. Hope to return!

We stayed in the Dunes Suite at Bayfront Marin House and had a wonderful overall experience. The location was fantastic—right on Vilano Beach—making it easy to enjoy the ocean and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning; it was simple but convenient, and we appreciated that the hotel accommodated our vegetarian diet.

We were 4 people and loved our stay. That said, be aware that this cute cottage has 3 floors and your core areas will be on the second and third floor. You have the option to choose between a breakfast basket and breakfast in the main house. The breakfast is rather small and not a buffet but it was perfect for us and very delicious with a nice homey or from grandma feeling. The staff is very friendly. The cottage was very cute with Christmas decor, even a little tree in the main bedroom and some nice other decor in the main living area. Additionally, I’d like to note that one room does not have a tv in the bedroom which was a little bit unfortunate as it made it the least desired room and it’s already the smallest room. Additionally, some of the plates were also outdated and very limited if you travel with 4 people. That said, we absolutely loved it. The cottage is really cute. Easy parking with even being allowed to park downtown. It was exactly what we wanted. It was also in walking distance to the beach.

Room was located miles away from the main hotel. That was not clear to someone who does not know the area at the time of booking, only the hotel address is given. Check in at the main desk was impossible, as there was no parking. ‘Full breakfast’ was a lie, something to eat was dropped off and I had to reheat it .

The property is great, except that we didn't live in it. We were advertised Bayfront Marin House and instead were settled in a cottage 7 miles from it. Yes, it's a good cottage with ocean view but this is not what we were looking for. We were looking forward to Bayfront Marin House and not a cottage. The cottage was pretty old with lots of wooden elements - my kid got a pretty painful splinter. The property is fine, but not appropriate to the price and not at all what was advertised.

This was our first visit to Bayfront at Marin House. The place was so cute, service was excellent & the view was incredible. We come to St Augustine almost every year & stay somewhere new each time. This was easily one of our favorites. Typically we stay in the Historic district so this was a nice change of pace. Their location in the historic district was beautiful as well as we went to have wine in the courtyard offered each evening.

The Bayfront Marin House was fabulous!! The room, staff and amenities were amazing. The food items offered for breakfast and Happy Hour were very tasty. We had the room overlooking the bay with a private balcony. A private parking lot for the B&B was available with no charge to guests. We will absolutely stay there again on our next visit to St. Augustine!

Our room wasn’t ready until 3:30 and housekeeping was not very satisfactory. The beds are cheaply made and not very comfortable. The upstairs door leading to balcony is broken and doesn’t lock. We loved the location, cottage was adorable, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that was brought to our door.

Well, my friend and I are both 80 ish ladies. Needless to say I did not know the room I selected was on the 2nd floor. The parking is more than 2 blocks after you unload your car. Ugh!! So I had to pay for a parking space on the street during the day . Nights are free after nine. Great breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese brought to your room. Service was so helpful!!!!! We did enjoy ourselves.

1. Booking thru Expedia shows this property having a pool with picture and it does not have a pool.
2. Was suppose to be a quiet place however parties full sending outside our window on our balcony from 3-5 am and no staff on site to be able to do anything about it. The entire floor was not happy.

The property is located in the Heart of Downtown Saint Augustine which is nice and easy to walk just about anywhere. The staff was very nice.
Dislikes: The room we got/ stayed in was not actually on the Bay Marin property. It was a couple blocks away in not the greatest area and absolutely no view as advertised. We had to walk to the main property if we wanted anything or wanted to do anything on the main property and that was not expected. We also had to deal with Ants in our room. Especially the kitchen area, which honestly was gross and unfortunately we put a to-go box from a restaurant we went to on the kitchen counter and ants got into the box causing us to throw away a fairly expensive portion of food we brought back. The room had a musky/ moldy smell and that's probably because there was a water leak in the bathroom wall causing water to pool in a corner and caused some mold. The room looked like the advertised picture, but the physical location was not on Bayfront Marin property where all the other rooms with views, a courtyard, etc. were located. Pretty disappointing for the amount of money I spent.

Great location and place to stay in the Old St Augustine Area. Driving and Parking in this area is a challenge. The property has reserved spots in a remote lot about a block away. We left our car there and walked to most places we wanted to visit. Loved the room service delivered breakfast and happy hour goodies!

Stayed here for two days. Breakfast was served cold we had to microwave it? Our be hike was badly scratched by adjacent guest. Reported to staff was told they couldn’t help, had no information on the other guests and we needed to call the police. Brand new vehicle damaged on their property and they could care less.

We stayed in suit 91 at Villano Beach location and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for 2 people for a short stay. Does not have full kitchen but we didn’t need one.It was very clean, nice decor, wonder adjustable king bed and breakfast delivered to our door. Parking pass provided for historic district parking in a great location for exploring the local shops, restaurants and historic architecture I enjoy so much. I will definitely be booking again in the near future.
