Everything was delightful with the happy hour fun and the in room breakfast. Parking is the only issue as you need to park a distance away or pay meter parking every four hours.
Staff was friendly and attentive to details.

This is a great hotel within walking distance of the main historic sites but far enough away for a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Great food and service
Lilka
The Sandpiper room was great. The view and beach access are amazing. However, If you are a light sleeper, pick a room on one of the higher levels as there are residents above you.
Ricardo J
Quiet, clean and in great location!

I loved this place so much! Our room at the beach was perfect! Wonderful view, great soaking tub, comfortable bed, very spacious…. The crows nest was such a bonus, too.
The breakfast delivery was a very thoughtful touch, but needs a little work. The staff was always very quick to answer any texts that I sent, and were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property (and already have!)

Great location with lots to do in walking distance

It would be nice to have a little sink in kitchen area. Bottom unit could use some sound deadening—could hear loud walking from second floor unit. The floors were extremely dirty—wearing socks turned them black. Breakfast was great. Did not do cocktail hour. Beach access and views were awesome. Our patio area needed a little cleaning. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would go back again. Thanks.
Loyd
Location. Be careful the Cottage rooms are on the beach.
Wanda
Fabulous!

Possibly the freshest-smelling, comfiest bed I've slept in. We enjoyed three nights here on spring break. The breakfast & happy hour deliveries were the cherry on top! So nice to return to after exploring the city or the beach (5-10 min away). The staff were so accommodating to us. Our trip coincided with a cold snap — so the comfy couches & lounge areas upstairs on the deck were just the place. Hope to return!

Excellent staff and location

Beautiful place. Loved the delivered Breaksfast each morning

Wonderful place to stay. Great location, hospitality and accommodations.
Would definitely stay here again.
Thank you!

The staff was very welcoming and the delivered breakfast everyday was both tasty and delightful. The dune cottage had everything we needed and a great view. My only suggestion would be if it slept 3 people then provide 3 chairs not just the 2 you provided,
Michael
Room was clean, and there were a lot of little touches that made it exceptional. Food was adequate but the service was fantastic.

We stayed in the Dunes Suite at Bayfront Marin House and had a wonderful overall experience. The location was fantastic—right on Vilano Beach—making it easy to enjoy the ocean and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning; it was simple but convenient, and we appreciated that the hotel accommodated our vegetarian diet.
While the room was comfortable, it could benefit from a refresh and updated furniture.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could. The room was clean and very comfortable. The in room Jacuzzi was the cherry on the top.
The service was fantastic attentive. We have decided to come back next year as well.

Great property, beautiful room, nice breakfast in bed and drinks and appetizers for happy hour..
Diana
Room was very nice and clean! They no longer have a dining room for breakfast, but they sever it up hot to your room each morning! They also have a great little happy hour each day, with a few appetizers and beverages sent to your room!
Betsy
the shower was full of hair. we didn't report it because it was late but the stay other than that was excellent.
Margaret
Staff really courteous and great that it comes with downtown parking spot. Happy hour and first day breakfast really good would encourage to eat breakfast at house vs having delivered if staying by beach. 2nd day breakfast was cold leftovers
Sandra
We were 4 people and loved our stay. That said, be aware that this cute cottage has 3 floors and your core areas will be on the second and third floor. You have the option to choose between a breakfast basket and breakfast in the main house. The breakfast is rather small and not a buffet but it was perfect for us and very delicious with a nice homey or from grandma feeling. The staff is very friendly. The cottage was very cute with Christmas decor, even a little tree in the main bedroom and some nice other decor in the main living area. Additionally, I’d like to note that one room does not have a tv in the bedroom which was a little bit unfortunate as it made it the least desired room and it’s already the smallest room. Additionally, some of the plates were also outdated and very limited if you travel with 4 people. That said, we absolutely loved it. The cottage is really cute. Easy parking with even being allowed to park downtown. It was exactly what we wanted. It was also in walking distance to the beach.
daniel
It was a nice hotel, not the one that we booked but a decent time nonetheless. We booked at their other property and was changed to this one. Communication about the change was not there, and that was disappointing. BUT…. I must say this property was not bad.
David
Cottage exceeded our expectations......great trip

Wonderful two night stay! Room was clean and comfy. Happy hour was a nice touch and breakfast was delicious! Everything homemade and will deliver to room upon request. Great location - walked to everything! Everyone was incredibly kind and made for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!!
WILLIAM
This place is a true gem. The staff was wonderful and vey accommodating. We made a last minute reservation to see the Night of Lights.
The room was spotless and we were overlooking the bay.
The place was as so charming. We’ll definitely choose Bayfront Marin next time we are in St Augustine!

Room was located miles away from the main hotel. That was not clear to someone who does not know the area at the time of booking, only the hotel address is given. Check in at the main desk was impossible, as there was no parking. ‘Full breakfast’ was a lie, something to eat was dropped off and I had to reheat it .
Fedir
The property is great, except that we didn't live in it. We were advertised Bayfront Marin House and instead were settled in a cottage 7 miles from it. Yes, it's a good cottage with ocean view but this is not what we were looking for. We were looking forward to Bayfront Marin House and not a cottage. The cottage was pretty old with lots of wooden elements - my kid got a pretty painful splinter. The property is fine, but not appropriate to the price and not at all what was advertised.
ALISA
Great place.
Mercedes
The place was very clean. The view of the beach was very nice. Good place to stay
Cherish M
The staff was extremely nice and helpful
Christi
This was our first visit to Bayfront at Marin House. The place was so cute, service was excellent & the view was incredible. We come to St Augustine almost every year & stay somewhere new each time. This was easily one of our favorites. Typically we stay in the Historic district so this was a nice change of pace. Their location in the historic district was beautiful as well as we went to have wine in the courtyard offered each evening.
Calista
Great stay for a couple, and you are right on the beach, which is beautiful! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Gregory
cool old place
nice room
great location
check in was poorly done unfortunately
she asked if we'd been to the room??? odd - we just arrived and didn't have an actual check in
she sent us to our room with a verbal to use the last 4 digits of my cell phone, bit further info
there was no explanation of happy hour or breakfast
having hh and breakfast was a nice touch once we figured it out on our own

Enjoyed our stay! Great location. Good parking. Terrific view. Easy access. Will be back!
Daniel
Had an issue with our room upon arrival. Staff quickly moved us to new room and it exceeded our expectations. Loved that they offered breakfast and snacks with drinks in the evening.
Kara
We eloped on site and the staff made everything perfect for our day. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed the snacks and breakfast that were provided
Laura
The Bayfront Marin House was fabulous!! The room, staff and amenities were amazing. The food items offered for breakfast and Happy Hour were very tasty. We had the room overlooking the bay with a private balcony. A private parking lot for the B&B was available with no charge to guests. We will absolutely stay there again on our next visit to St. Augustine!
Elizabeth
Our room wasn’t ready until 3:30 and housekeeping was not very satisfactory. The beds are cheaply made and not very comfortable. The upstairs door leading to balcony is broken and doesn’t lock. We loved the location, cottage was adorable, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that was brought to our door.

Celebrating our anniversary at Marin house cottage
Everything was great. Love the text communication and not having to go through the whole chk in process. My only complaint would have to be water pressure in shower. We will defin be coming back.
HENRY
Love thats it is beach front
Verified traveler
Staff very helpful and accommodating & location is great. The room needed a good cleaning. The floor had sand on it & needed to be cleaned.
Tiffany
The front desk staff were friendly and made things so easy.
Ryan
The entire experience was terrible. We booked this location because it was near downtown. The actual rental was a 15 min drive from downtown. The AC didnt cool the room. The food was awful. Very very disappointed with the whole experience especially given the price.
Daniel
The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in St.Augustine.
ALIMAR
Cozy and beautiful hotel. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The customer service was excellent. We booked this for a couples weekend get away and look forward to coming back.
Fiona
The room was clean and very nice.
However, the shower has very little pressure. That needs improvement. Very hard to rinse any kind of soap or shampoo in the hair.
I realize the house is pretty old, it’s well maintained but someone was staying on top of our room and we could hear them talk and walk. They were very loud and that was a little uncomfortable at 1 am
I loved the walkway to the beach. Beach was great and the chair and umbrellas was a nice surprise. Since we didn’t bring our own.

Best B&B experience ever. The hosts/staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating. We will be back.

We were well taken care of during our stay at the lookout suite. The views were amazing. We enjoyed the quietness and the covenient location.
Nicole
Was so charming!

Well, my friend and I are both 80 ish ladies. Needless to say I did not know the room I selected was on the 2nd floor. The parking is more than 2 blocks after you unload your car. Ugh!! So I had to pay for a parking space on the street during the day . Nights are free after nine. Great breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese brought to your room. Service was so helpful!!!!! We did enjoy ourselves.
joshua
Loved the place. The staff was great. I do have 2 complaints.
1. Booking thru Expedia shows this property having a pool with picture and it does not have a pool.
2. Was suppose to be a quiet place however parties full sending outside our window on our balcony from 3-5 am and no staff on site to be able to do anything about it. The entire floor was not happy.

The property is located in the Heart of Downtown Saint Augustine which is nice and easy to walk just about anywhere. The staff was very nice.
Dislikes: The room we got/ stayed in was not actually on the Bay Marin property. It was a couple blocks away in not the greatest area and absolutely no view as advertised. We had to walk to the main property if we wanted anything or wanted to do anything on the main property and that was not expected. We also had to deal with Ants in our room. Especially the kitchen area, which honestly was gross and unfortunately we put a to-go box from a restaurant we went to on the kitchen counter and ants got into the box causing us to throw away a fairly expensive portion of food we brought back. The room had a musky/ moldy smell and that's probably because there was a water leak in the bathroom wall causing water to pool in a corner and caused some mold. The room looked like the advertised picture, but the physical location was not on Bayfront Marin property where all the other rooms with views, a courtyard, etc. were located. Pretty disappointing for the amount of money I spent.

Great property and the staff was very attentive. Loved the text messaging service for food options and the happy hour. Will be back again!
Michelle
The room was very nice. Bed super comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was especially nice. The only warning I would give is parking. It is free but about a 2 block walk
Phil
Great location and place to stay in the Old St Augustine Area. Driving and Parking in this area is a challenge. The property has reserved spots in a remote lot about a block away. We left our car there and walked to most places we wanted to visit. Loved the room service delivered breakfast and happy hour goodies!

Great location.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Bayfront Marin House. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were unique, and the staff was wonderful. It was a bonus to watch the dolphins in the morning.

Great place to spend a few days
Jordan
They accommodated us very well. The communication was so great. I love that they text because that’s my preferred communication as it is just so much easier than calls and email. The property was beautiful.

Great!!
Great place with even better view in the cottage we had. Awesome staff. Great place to stay!
Maria
Very thoughtful staff. Lovely room with extra touches like breakfast in your room and charcuterie, boards, and wine at night.
William
Great place for a quiet romantic weekend! Definitely will be booking another stay soon.
Robert
It was the best of St Augustine! Beach front but the option to park and be in the historic area also. Staff were amazing! Well run! Thank you for a quick wonderful get away!
Amanda
Nice, quiet romantic getaway. The service was excellent!
Jonathan
Beautiful location, convenient to historic town and sights. Friendly staff. Texting format was a plus for checking in, but miss the sit down breakfast and cocktail hour mingle like our previous stay years before. We mostly enjoyed the upper deck patio outside our room for viewing the water. Off site parking was safe and secure but a little far. Room was well appointed.
Charles
The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast and happy were delicious, location was super, and internet texting communication was helpful.
Gregory
The advertisement in Expedia was very mis-leading. We thought we were going to be staying in town at the ACTUAL Marin House. Instead, our accommodations were 2.5 miles away from town on a separate island. We had to then drive into town, park on the outskirts (which they paid for) and then drive back to our unit. do BETTER !

Beautiful place

Weekend away in St Augustine
Great property in a great, central location.
Darek
Excellent property and very attentive staff. Charlotte made everything easy for us, and Max was on the spot with our morning breakfast service.
If you have a big truck, you may want to leave it at home and bring the small car. Parking and driving through the narrow streets were tough...

It was amazing. Beds were comfortable. The view to ocean amazing. Happy hour at main house. They even brought us breakfast in the morning to our cottage. What is not to like! Everyone was friendly. We would stay again (couple with 2 dogs).
Jessica
Great location, great service, private yet all the benefits of the main house! will definitely be back.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Brian
Room was beautiful and comfortable. Service was great from charcuterie and cocktails to breakfast the next morning. Only problem we had was a slow draining sink, but overall would stay again.
Richard
Food was so so and cold.

Charming with Customer Service Plus
This is our 2nd time we have stayed at the Bayfront Marin. It is always such a wonderful, 5 star experience. I could go on and on about their customer service. Not to mention how absolutely charming the whole property is. Plus, location, location!
Sharon
Property and staff were great. Texted about breakfast and happy hour options. Beautiful view!
Ryan
The stay was a good stay no major complaints, it was a nice bed and breakfast. The stay was pleasant and devoid of any significant complaints. The bed and breakfast provided a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
Rose
Everything was great. I only have one suggestion for improvement: the breakfast provided should come with eating utensils.
Rafael
The place that they advertised, is 3.2 miles away from the historic district, no one told us that till we arrived to the address descrived on the web.
Efrain
Property was very clean and homie definitely will come back to visit again. Thank you
Marilyn
Stayed here for two days. Breakfast was served cold we had to microwave it? Our be hike was badly scratched by adjacent guest. Reported to staff was told they couldn’t help, had no information on the other guests and we needed to call the police. Brand new vehicle damaged on their property and they could care less.

We stayed in suit 91 at Villano Beach location and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for 2 people for a short stay. Does not have full kitchen but we didn’t need one.It was very clean, nice decor, wonder adjustable king bed and breakfast delivered to our door. Parking pass provided for historic district parking in a great location for exploring the local shops, restaurants and historic architecture I enjoy so much. I will definitely be booking again in the near future.
William
Great Bed & Breakfast in downtown Historic area. The Lindsie Michelle room was beautiful. Second floor with great outdoor area to sit. Happy hour treats and wine are delivered to your room. Breakfast is also delivered. If it's nice, you can sit on the outside area reserved for this room.
