The room was old but relatively clean. It served our needs. It was convenient to the places we wanted to go and we felt safe there. The property had some beautiful old trees and they provided a brief history of the area. Close to the Fountain of Youth and we enjoyed hearing the peacocks nearby. Overall it was a good value for the money we spent but not a high end luxury accommodation for sure. If traveling on a budget it’s a great stop.

The property itself could definitely use some love. The breakfast isn’t much. We ate there the first morning and walked to Raintree for brunch the next day and Sun Day on the last morning. Their coffee is good though.

Now the reason I said it’s excellent. The rooms have always been clean when I stay here. Staff is so nice! ALL of them, just really friendly. The location is just close enough to walk to the historic district. Also the Fountain of Youth and Mission Nombre De Dios is right around the corner! The price is very fair too.

The room was disgustingly dirty. Dead roaches on floor. Live roaches in bathroom. Mold on walls in kitchenette. Most tiles on floor were loose. Dirt all over on the floors by all the corners. Icemaker right outside window so you hear it all night. No working phone in room. Outlets in kitchenette didn’t work. LED lights flashing. Both tvs didn’t work and most channels are scrambled. Would never stay here again!!! So sad!!

We have stayed here before and loved it. The rooms are very quiet, the AC is on point, the breakfast is wonderful and we love that the trolley stops here.

The long term residents are ruining this place. Doing drugs at the pool, smoking everywhere and throwing their cigarettes everywhere. Absolutely foul and disgusting language and behavior. They made it to where we had to leave the pool area and did not come the next night. The property is not being cared for. Visable mold in the pool, structural damage everywhere. We arrived on a Friday and it had stormed pretty heavy early in the day. When we attempted , left due to long term residents, to go to the pool, all the towels were soaked from the storm. We asked the front for dry towels and waited over a half hour. Went back to the front and asked for towels again and finally got them. The soaking went towels from Friday were still in the same spot on Saturday and still there hanging on chairs on Sunday when we left. In our room there was only one chair to sit in and it looked like something that was left on the curb for garbage. Same with the sides table by it which has several cup stains on it. House keeping did not clean the rooms well. Our feet were black throughout our stay, shower and bed had long hairs in them. We all have short hair.
We really like this place and totally plan to come back. My hope for this review is that it reaches the owners and they can make some changes.

We checked in really late and the guy working the front desk was really nice and helpful. The rooms didn't look as nice as they do online. The smell was musty in the room. I just tried to keep it pretty cool to maybe help with the smell but no luck. They could probably figure out something to do with the shower curtain. When you take a shower the water gets all over the floor because the curtain isn't long enough to stay inside. The chair in the room was really dirty. We just didn't use it. The light was really rusty. Which happens close to the beach. The fridge stayed super cold so that was nice. The outdoor furniture could definitely use an update. The location was really nice. The pool was nice also. Maybe a little clean up in that area would be good. The only thing I had was the coffee for the breakfast so I can't speak on that. I just wish it looked more the the pictures.

The location was great, backing up right next to the Fountain of Youth Park. Be prepared for the screeching of the free-roaming peacocks at the park! The room was clean but basic. No frills but the AC worked well. The one problem was a gap under the door where a few bugs made their way in. I reported it to the desk when I checked out so maybe it will be fixed. The local hop on/hop off tour trolley comes right through the parking lot so very convenient for those customers. Complimentary parking is a great bonus. The breakfast was basic with biscuits, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, yogurt, pastries, juice and coffee. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

In my opinion, this property had an excellent photographer. I was so disappointed by the condition of this property. My first impression was that the landscaper must have quit and it went downhill from there. There were roaches spotted in our room, the furniture was torn and stained. Our socks were filthy from walking on the floor. Plus, we were required to pay an additional 100.00 for a “security deposit “. I’ve yet to receive a return from the motel. Room was clean but the door to the outside had a half inch gap at the bottom and during a rainstorm overnight, the water came into our hotel room making the walk from the bed to the bathroom very soggy. We didn’t bother complaining to staff as none of our personal items were affected. My husband wasn’t a huge fan of the location but it was within walking distance of the fountain, the trolley goes directly through the parking lot so super easy to get on. I enjoyed the continental breakfast as well although we normally went out to eat.

I was skeptical at first after reading other reviews but ultimately satisfied with my stay. The property could use some fresh paint and maybe some new landscaping, but those things don’t matter to me. The room was clean, sheets were stark white, bed was comfortable, and the room was great size. The floors looked to be new porcelain tile in wood grain which is great because I hate carpet in a motel. The hot breakfast was good with plenty of room for seating. It’s situated right in the middle of many attractions with a trolly stop right outside your door! The only thing I didn’t like was that the shower pressure was pretty high but I guess that is better than too low.
