The rooms were awesome. Everything was like brand new. The bed was comfortable. Everything was great very happy. I give it a 10.
Amanda
Clean, beds were comfy, water was warm, no parking fee, staff was helpful
Linabel
Cute little hotel if you are looking to visit St.Augustine. Not a luxury but the rooms were really clean and pretty. We were passing though and only stayed one night, however, parking was very accessible right in front of our room, and the service staff that was working that night was very nice as well. Overall, we would stay here again!
Daniel
Price was great, the best for a clean safe decent place, and I got what I paid for, and it was absolutely fine. Would stay again if traveling alone and need a place to stay. Satisfied for a good night sleep at a low price. There was not breakfast, but, again the price was the best for a place rated well.

The rain was clean the staff is helpful lots of parking. They had a laundry room that you could use your card at as well as the change wasn't too expensive 2.75. The pool was nice that's really the only amenity. Not bad rooms for the price they've been updated. Wi-Fi is a little spotty.

Clean and cheap and in a FANTASTIC location for getting to the historic district easily. The showers had very hot water. We would definitely stay here again.
melanie
Clean cold room.
Tabitha
It was clean they only had showers,. They had food at the front. They hold $100 deposit that is not advertised. They also had some bugs not many and it was not the best for a child. The pool was hard to get to and was dangerous due to how close to the highway we were. We missed the hotel the first time so we had to turn around and come back. There is no room to hardly parj , not for a RV, Big truck or crew. They go to bed and shut the front down by 12:00 so no check in after that. It was not the best play nor the worst place I have ever stayed at. I still love Crystal Cove.

The rooms have been updated not that long ago and have laminate flooring, so no yucky rugs. The staff is very nice and the location of the hotel is near historic downtown, nice for a quick getaway.
Val
It was conveniently located, plenty of parking, and clean.
alyssa
Good location near downtown but seemed to be a questionable area with men hanging around made my girls uncomfortable
Christopher
I had a lovely time. Great room, clean and well kept. Shower was awesome, bathroom was clean. Huge TVs with cable. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cups, ice bucket with ice and vending available on site. Nice employees, a market with snacks and other items you may need are available in the lobby 24 hours.
Pool is open at roughly first light and closes at dark. Historic District is 2 miles away and 1,000,000% worth a day of wandering around. St Augustine Rules. Rodeway Inn made my stay even better.
15/10, recommend.

The staff were lovely & helpful. The room was ok although the pillows smelt musty & the coffee maker wasn’t as clean as it should have been.
The laundry was ok, cheapest washing machines we’ve come across. However the ice maker were very dirty & made you think twice if you really wanted to use it.

The main issue about my room was I asked for a handicap accessible room on the ground floor with a walk-in shower I receive that no problem. When I got into the room and tried to get into the bed, the bed was too high. I could not get in the bed without assistance. I called the front desk and asked for a lower bed because I couldn’t get in it without assistance. I was told that did not have another bed. I asked if there was another room that I could be moved to. They said no they didn’t have another room or a rollaway bed so I had to suffer for four days having someone from the outside come in to help me get in and out of the bed several times a day so I can access the restroom. Unacceptable. I’ll never go back there again to the roadway Inn in St. Augustine on North on Boulevard.. Also, I booked a room online and and pay for it online and when I got to The motel, I was told I had to pay an additional $100 hundred dollars to be checked in. I asked why and they said that was just policy with this motel. I would never stay there again one more thing atmosphere. It was quite noisy guest and staff outside of my room until 3 o’clock in the morning on my first day, other guest in and out slamming doors throughout the night that was very uncomfortable thank you.

Nice for a short stay
Patrick
Nice combo of budget friendly and niceness

The room and pool were okay! But the stair was dirty and smelled like pee and beer.

Add a shelve in the bathroom for personal amenities. You have a great opportunity with rooms 119 and 120. There is enough space for a 2 chair table and a more functional closet.
Josephine
Big and clean room, nice staff, excellent parking
Michael
Second time staying here and again, very clean rooms and peaceful. The staff is very nice and the location is convenient. Thanks!
Valerie
Absolutely the best hotel for the buck it’s very simple and close to all attractions. The gentlemen in front desk helped so much with crib and WiFi.
Gregory P.
The rooms were recently refurbished. Very clean. It was an old motel so there are limits, it overall it was a good place to stay.

We had to cancel our trip, after contacting the hotel (before check in) they advised they would refund us. Later on we found out they declined to cancel the reservation and charged us AFTER cancelling. Do not trust them. Hotels.com did not even help us with the issue!!!

We were pleasantly surprised to see how clean the room was for the price near downtown St. Augustine.

Great value for travelers who need to put their head down for a night, as in my case. I was passing through on my way to Port Canaveral.

Easy parking, felt safe, fresh & clean room. Very nice bedding! Wrapped pastries & coffee in the morning in the lobby. A great budget option near downtown! We'll be back!

Broken toilet seat, loose shower faucet and not enough water pressure

Nice place, close to downtown. Not really walking distance, but cheap Ubers for sure. We just needed it for the night, but I’d stay here again.

We had a great stay for one night at Rodeway Inn. The one person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed. The bed could use a topper to make it softer, but everything else was great. The shower was very nice and everything worked as it should. Very comfy stay for a very good price.

The room was very nicely upgraded love the bedding and the shower. We always bring our lab with us so I was happy. It was Pet friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised with the motel. Only thing, if you like pillows like me, bring some! Each bed only has 2 instead of 4. Would definitely come back!!

Wasn’t what I expected from the the pictures and description of the advertisement. I thought it was a bigger hotel and within walking distance to downtown historical park. But all in all it was very clean and the staff was friendly, the pool was nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast was a cup of coffee and a danish which was individually wrapped. ( breakfast was a little unappealing).
Brent
Parking can be a bit tricky. Nothing really here as far amenities go. But a very nice, quiet, clean room at a good price is you're visiting St. Augustine, FL,
Suzanne
This one will surprise you!!! in a GOOD WAY. When I saw it from the road , before turning in to the parking lot, I was really worried and angry, I said this can not be the same place in the photos. It does not look great from the road, but once checked in the rooms are very nice - I had 2 rooms for family - updated inside the room, comfortable, clean, nice bathroom / shower. The front office was helpful and friendly. We will come back as regulars , it is well worth the price and close proximity to historic distance. You will be surprised - in a good way!
Lisa
Stay if last resort.
Donna
Let me start by saying I had planned on staying one night here. I couldn’t even stay there one night when I walked into the hotel. There was no one in the lobby there working at about 10:30 PM. Finally, a girl that was working there came out of one of the rooms this place is nothing except for prostitution and drug addicts. Stay here. There’s no way I could’ve stayed there. I asked her to show me the room. It smelled so bad like mold. I literally got in my car Drove across the street to the comfort Inn and suites which was fabulous called orbits and demand demanded a refund which they gave me do not stay at this place. You will absolutely regret it. It is disgusting.

Room was clean, property was a little hoopty but the room was nice

The room we were in was newly renovated. It was also spotless. My only criticism was the odor...it was very musty smelling, and anyone with respiratory issues might have had a problem.
DeWana
Only problem was tv didn't work
Ileana
Rooms don’t have hair dryer.
Emma
This place was great when I was there unfortunately it was too chilly for the pool to be open for spring break time but it was awesome spacious rooms updated love the walk-in shower. Also the fridge had auto cooler so it cooled the drinks really fast. The beds were so comfortable and clean. Also on site laundry and free parking.
Stephen
Should call it the Rodent inn.

My family stayed here as a stop on their way to Georgia, and they had a great experience. Since they’re older, Spanish-speaking, and not very tech-savvy, I made the reservation for them and called ahead to ensure their late arrival would be okay.
The gentleman who helped me over the phone around 9 PM on March 8 was incredibly kind and helpful, I really wish I had gotten his name. He made the whole process so much easier and gave me peace of mind.
My family said check-in was smooth and the hotel was great overall. I really appreciate the excellent customer service!

Got the impression this is a family owned hotel. The front desk was ran by adolescent children (maybe high school to freshman in college) no professional attire. The photos are very misleading there were multiple damages in our room and the area was rough looking. It’s cheap for a last minute change like we had. But would not recommend staying longer especially with children there is no elevator only stairs. Thankfully it’s on 2 stories.
I got the impression the mother is the housekeeping and it was “clean” but would take that kind of clean for under $100. There was no carpet in the room which is nice for those moms like me who find carpet gross. And the beds were comfy the pillows were not and I was thankful we had our own.
Overall okay stay.

No issues with Internet. Staff friendly, but property needs a major update and improvements.
Rebecca
Very good for the price, friendly staff, clean nice room, easy check in and out.
Jennifer
The reviews we read before booking this had to be made by the owners and their friends. This was a TERRIBLE stay. While the rooms are remodeled they are VERY small-really too small for two people. The bathroom is TINY. There was not an outlet in the bathroom or the “vanity” area. The room smelled of marijuana. They allow pets and a dog next to us barked all night. There was an ironing board but no iron. When we left to check out two days early so we could find a new property, a man who appeared to be homeless was sitting outside of our door. I under no circumstances would stay here again.
Candace

Internet was mostly ok but we had a bad thunder storm.
I forgot my slippers so picked up a lot of black off the tiles.
Bed was clean and comfy. Enough towels for my long hair!
Plenty of hot water.
Close to things we wanted to see.
There was a beautiful looking pool but we were too tired to use it.

The staff were very friendly upon check in. The room was very clean. The bathroom was extremely clean, no gunk in the corners or built up around the toilet base. Vinyl flooring throughout and the sheets were soft. The pillows were small squares so bring your own if you are particular about your pillows. I thought they were fine. They had a blackout blind on the window and that was great. The building may look old and not 'high-end' but the inside was new and updated and CLEAN!! The area was quiet and the neighbors were quiet too. I will most definitely stay here again! The wi-fi was quite slow but we were able to hotspot off our phone. I don't count that as a negative cuz many people are using it at one time and that can create lag...it is what it is and did not bother us at all.
