Staff were fantastic! Service with a smile and provided great information regarding places to eat and see!
I asked about the noise from the ice machine, and by the time I returned to my room the noise from the machine was addressed as promised!
Lobby, room, and especially bathroom was very clean! Great stay and will definitely stay again!

We loved staying here. It’s surprisingly a huge space for the 5 of us. The hotel is so cute and very close to the historic attractions. It’s also close to restaurants being its location is downtown.
Cynthia
The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is close to downtown
Sr Augustine shops.
We really enjoyed our stay there.

Great Hotel !! It is New !!!
Julia
We only had an overnight stay, but the room and hotel itself were excellent and well maintained. It was in a great location- walkable to everything, and the adjacent restaurant was excellent!
Liduvina
We like the room very clean and the staff very friendly
Manuel
Perfecta estancia en un bello hotel

The wonderful Marriott \"signature scent\" was throughout the hallways, but the room itself stunk of human body. Had to ask that the room be serviced across a multi-day stay. Valet did not offer to help get luggage out of car. Eat breakfast elsewhere..$50 and sad
Judith
It is a beautiful hotel with very comfy bed.
The food at their restaurant is excellent.
Walk is about 1-2 blocks to historic downtown. The only complaint is it can be noisy.

rooms are very dark

Beautiful and clean property. My only concern is that I felt like my pillows were not clean as they had a smell from previous patrons.

My husband and I came up from St. Petersburg to spend a few days for relaxation. This was the perfect hotel located near the district area so that it’s not far to walk into but far enough that it’s quiet. Super clean and nice rooms, very pleasant staff. Loved it.
ARMANDO J
Excellent place to stay.

This hotel was beautiful and captivating to say the least when you first walk in.
The staff was very nice and the restaurant and bar were amazing. However; the beds were very hard and we had trouble sleeping on them it was like sleeping on the hard floor..
They should get beds a little more plush for the price, also we had 2 queen beds and one bed was next to the shower wall with only a white frosted wall between them so if someone had to go to the bathroom the light comes on wakes that person up.
They should have a DARK panel next to that bed so not to wake your other person up. It was very bothersome.
The VIP parking I think everyone knows what that is, but every time you would take your car out the Valet guys were in your face commenting on tips we should give and was very bothersome and obviously the hotel must pay them nothing or very little. I think this beautiful hotel needs to work on that.
And other thing like did we just get a crappy room because we booked through Expedia?
The desk chair was filthy to even want to sit in it. lMy wife have medical issues fell ill and we left a day early because of that, but overall this hotel needs a little work to become even better for the price like include a free continental breakfast at least as they wanted like $18 just for that per person so no cool.
It’s in a wonderful location and would stay again if they change a few things.

We had a wonderful stay and will be back!
Henry
Excellent place to say.
Bryson
As long as you remember that this is not a historic hotel but a recent build to blend with the area history, you’ll enjoy it.
Roy
Enjoyed breakfast, dinner and lounge. Visited lobby cafe. Took advantage of valet parking. Great hotel. Can’t think of any changes I would suggest.
Deborah
This hotel was in a great location to get around the room was very nice. The comfort of the bed was ok nothing great. Our room was noisy we were right above lobby and our room faced a busy street
Samuel
The property is close to all of the attractions. We walked to them. Parking at the Welcome Center across the street is not as expensive compared to the hotel valet parking.
Richard
Everything you want to was in walking distance
Richard
Great place and location.
Damon
This is a perfect, above average, centrally located hotel to use as your base. Lovely on site bar and restaurant, morning Starbucks and a very short walk to the north end of St George Street. The trolley welcome center is across the street.
Lucy
Room was spacious and clean. Great location, quick walk to main tourist areas and cute cafes and shops in the other direction as well. The gym was also very clean and spacious.
Todd
Staff very helpful very clean would stay again!
Donna
Great rooms and a very easy walk to the historic old town. We've stayed there twice and will stay again.
William
Everything was amazing but the pillows on tge bed
Deborah
Great location; new hotel; very clean and modern. Does not serve breakfast 🙁 except with a limited Starbucks clone, which was poor quality. Evening restaurant was excellent though and staff was professional.
Lindsay
Lovely hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff, valet was on point and efficient, worth the costs!! Will be back!
James
Perfect location, Staff was all very friendly and hotel was very clean. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the stay

Beautiful hotel. Great room with a balcony view of city. Staff so helpful and friendly.
Robert
Hotel has a great location for St. George st shops. Room was clean and very comfortable. Only issue with room was a slight whirring noise at night- perhaps exterior mechanical equipment?? Check in person was overly aggressive in pushing hop on hop off tours- she claimed they had the best price but that was not accurate as we got a better price at visitor center. Parking $40 a night seems unnecessary in a small place like st Augustine fl.
Tracey
Room was big and very comfortable and clean!
Jessica
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Right down to the valet. Fair warning, it's an additional $50/day. The rooms were spotless and the bed was comfortable. The location is hard to beat as well.
Lynn
The hotel is lovely and the staff outstanding, from the valet Parker’s to the front desk to the restaurant servers. Phoebe was super nice and helpful. Definitely recommend.
Pamela
Comfortable, clean room in a great location. Very happy with my choice.
Julie
Staff was very nice. Room in the second floor got too much noise and had to call front desk. No drawers to store belongings…odd.
Louis
We stayed 3 days and the hotel and staff were awesome !!!
William

I had a bad experience ever at this hotel. They did not have the room I booked available. They offered me a credit for the valet parking (worth of $40 per night) and then they proceed to charge my card for those 40$ per night. I left one day earlier because of the unpleasant experience and after arriving home I found out that they have made an additional charge of over $400 to my card. I called them and they claimed to be a system error. What was supposed to be a Happy Year End experience became a nightmare!
Raquel
Excellent All 💯

San agustin and hotel realy beautiful

Brianna
The hotel is in the perfect location. It is very nicely updated. It’s a great
Debra
Everything and everyone was amazing! Highly recommend!
Marcia
I booked the Renaissance because it’s slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main square, yet still part of the Historic District. The hotel, itself is lovely and has great amenities. The bed may well be the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, and that counts for a lot after a long day of exploring. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful i would definitely recommend it to any one visiting Historic St. Augustine, FL.
Alisa
Hotel was beautifully decorated. But we would have liked to see one Menorah among all of the festive decorations.
Our room was spacious, clean and had a wonderful terrace.
The staff were excellent and friendly.
I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

Large clean room, walking distance to everything
Anish
Great staff. Huge upgraded room. Great location.
Nicholas
Only issue we had was the shower had low water pressure. Additionally, it wasn’t transparent that there is no free parking. $40 a night.
Chad
Horrible stay on my anniversary. No water pressure and the water would not get hot. Bed was terrible like laying on plywood. Pillows should be thrown away because of the lack of filling. It was like sleeping on a dish rag. TV remote did not work at all. Honestly I have no idea how anyone could be happy with this establishment.
Rebecca
Lovely, but not really worth it.
Overall, I'd say our stay was okay. I feel for the cost, there should have been more amenities included. For example, parking, decent coffee, and nicer toiletries. Everything was immaculate and the beds were comfortable enough. We were on the first floor (probably because we booked at the last minute) so having a balcony wasn't as nice. As well as it being noisier, because we were right inside the doorway to the lobby.
Maria
Great

Beautiful hotel, close to everything!
This is a beautiful new hotel built to look like a famous historic one in Saint Augustine. Everyone at the hotel and the attached restaurant were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect! A quarter of a mile walk and you are right in the middle of historic Saint Augustine. We’ll definitely stay here again!
William
Staff very helpful with recommendations about things to do and places to eat. Hotel restaurant was great for breakfast. Valet is very convenient m
Joseph
Very good food on site.

The Hotel and our hotel room was very clean.
At times it was very cold and not possible to warm it up at any time. We missed not having 24-hour coffee in the Reception/Lobby. Having Starbucks instead made us feel like the Hotel/business desperately had to try to squeeze every dime out of you/us. Liked the \"clean water feature\" where we could fetch drinkable water. We gladly pay more for \"free breakfast\" (with real eggs and fresh fruit). Take a look at The French Quarter Inn, where we stayed in July 2025. Loved their concept of breakfast and Wine-Cheese in the afternoon. Staff were wonderful everywhere in the Hotel and Restaurant, Renaissance Hotel that is/was.

Beautiful interior. Overall a nice experience.
Brady
Nice location and property. Excellent service and very new and clean
Timeka
All staff members that we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance from all the historic sites and multiple trolley stops are near by. Our room was clean, spacious, well decorated, and very comfortable. My only recommendation would be sturdier chairs for the table in the room, they felt shaky. I would definitely book another stay.
ARMANDO
Good place, nice area and very professional staff.

This was a highlight for my 15 year old and myself. People always travel just to shop but this time we wanted a memory and we got one.
I love the convenient location we were able to pop out the door and just enjoy the walk to a small downtown hub I'll call it. So many wonderful cafes and shops it was like being in a historic village nothing like the bigger parts of Florida.
I loved the ambiance of the hotel so creative and the stairwell what a beautiful site for amazing photo opps.
Thank you for the great experience, professionalism and also willingness to assist.

Wonderful stay in St. Augustine!
My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we truly were stunned by the beauty of this hotel when we walked in. Super clean, modern touches with unique touch. We certainly enjoyed our evening and we will come back to stay!
Evelyn
Beautiful hotel
Juliana Augusta
Amazing hotel! Best location, but still quiet. Absolutely love it!
Michael
Ok stay overall.
Patricia
Great hotel. Excellent location
Martha
NOT worth $600 a night. Maybe $250. 1st time I have ever reviewed a hotel. I have traved the world.
Why have a terrace to look at power lines and peoples backyards.
Water pressure was bad. Both days. Hard to even get shampoo out of your hair.
Floor in shower was tiled, slippery and slooped bad, even the shower door would reopen due to slope
No light switches by bed. Every light needed to be turned off at the light.
Mattress was not as expected for upscale hotel, slept good but was exhausted from walking the city.

Philly to St. Augustine
Amazing location coupled with rather nice accommodations. The only drawback is the $50 per night parking fee. Starbucks on site. Quant colonial style locale.
melissa
I wish the restaurant would have been available later and the bar didn’t have two of the drink options that I requested.
Carrie
Beautiful, clean property.
Jesse
Amazing hotel we will def be staying again!
clay
Other than the pool not working everything went as hoped.

The hotel was nice, clean, and staff was great. Only complaint was that the WiFi did not work in the room itself. We had to go into the lobby to get the WiFi to work.
Lidubina
I like everything
Nicole
The hotel was beautiful, and well taken care of. I loved the convenience of being able to walk into the downtown area which is where we spent most of our time. We will definitely be back.
Denise
Lovely property. Helpful staff. Location cannot be beat!
James
Very comfortable and central location a big plus.
Nancy
Problem with bathroom. I got locked out of my own bathroom due to a very strange lock mechanism which had no purpose and should have been removed. Took two trips for hotel to figure out how to correct, though they were aware that this was a problem and had not corrected it. Luckily I was locked out on the same side as my cell. Not impressed by staff. Did not even say sorry when I called.
jesus
Very clean and very good smell Excellent service
Katen
Very clean hotel! People were very friendly at hotel! Overall nice experience!
Christina
Spent Mother’s day weekend with my family and we couldn’t stop talking about how impressed we were with the hotel! I also want to make sure to mention how amazing the receptionist (I didn’t catch her name) was. She was so welcoming and you can tell how much she enjoys helping people :)
Michael
The staff was The Renaissance was fantastic. Mackenzie and her team were so friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to stay longer because we had flight delays and we had an issue with one of the rooms, which was quickly rectified. The valet team was amazing and so helpful with recommendations for my running during down time. My family just moved down to St. Augustine and when I come to visit- I promise to return!!
Alberto
Every time we stay we really enjoy it
