The staff were very good. When we requested clean bath cloths and towels, they were prompt in bringing them. The refrigerator would not get cold. The beds were pretty hard. I have arthritis so it probably wasn’t the hotels fault. Breakfast was always great. We enjoyed our stay in St Augustine.

The room was nothing to write home about. We had a huge crack in our shower, the water pressure was minimal. Everything was cramped, very tight quarters. The hot tub smelled like pond water. The breakfast was not great. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again!

Front desk staff and continental breakfast attendant we’re all very friendly. Room was clean and appeared to be recently updated which was nice. The only drawback was the pillows. They appear to deflate when you put your head on them. Becoming very thin. Other than that it was a very satisfactory property. Thank you so much.

The only downside was that the bathtub didn't hold water, but everything else was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and everything was very clean. Also, the girl at the front desk was amazing upon arrival; she handled everything quickly and efficiently. Thank you.

I had NO idea that I would be charged $20 for parking! Did not find out until hours after checkout when I received my bill. I should have been informed AT LEAST at checkin. Instead, I was only asked for my credit card on file “for possible incidentals.”

The lady at check in was extremely rude and dismissive. I asked about some activities around town and she was so negative and off putting.
In addition, we got to our room and there were two little dogs across the hall that barked and barked for hours.
Plus $15 to park in the lot of a mediocre Hampton in is excessive.
Not a great experience at this hotel at all.

1. CONSTANT barking dogs, one in adjoining room.
2. From same adjoining room, unrelentless people yelling in Spanish and arguing about a drill.
2. Doors hanging from hinges in front of frig. with visible screws sticking out the other side.
3. Bathtub spigot hanging from wall & drain cap not covering up hole.
4. No courtesy bottled water OR cups in room.
5. Painters tape on the wall

*** Despite several calls to front desk, nothing changed with noise & I was told that hotel was \"dog friendly\" so nothing could be done.

*** VERY disappointing for a Hilton owned facility. Would NOT recommend to friends.

Decent hotel but main drawback is the daily $15 parking charge on top of an above-average rate to begin with. The hotel is nowhere near historic downtown (about 1.5 mile) so guests should be able to park without additional fee. Very poor policy from Hampton by Hilton. All in all the hotel is overpriced despite being barely within walking distance to historic city center.

First no welcoming at all what time breakfast was didn’t give us our water. There was a dirty toilet brush on the floor outside our room on the floor and garbage. No water pressure at all in our room couldn’t even shower. A/C did not work and a dog barked all night in room next to us . Service dogs don’t bark like that . Oh and also had three rooms one the tv did not work so they comp my parking 15.00 thx . Won’t be back

I was really disappointed. The Hampton Inn St. Augustine US1 North is very different from the one in Orlando. The air conditioning in the room didn't work, the bathroom faucet was broken and barely any water came out. The breakfast was very limited, with no variety. The key to the door didn't work properly and was difficult to open. We told the housekeeping staff, who saw us trying to open the door, and they just said, \"I don't know.\"

Room was small, bathroom counter extremely small almost non-existent. Bathtub was dirty and clogged.
Sunday morning 730am, got waken up by cleaning crew, talking extremely loud discussing their children’s life’s and how one of them stayed out until 1:30am.

The beds were not really comfortable. There wasn’t enough parking and we were told it was okay to park in the electric car parking space which was fine. Having to pay to park is really annoying. I feel like the price was already higher than it should have been and it’s quite a distance from the Historic District. Overall it was an okay stay but would not do it again. The staff was very nice.

Our first room was dirty. We found hair all over the table between the beds. Floor looked like it hadn't been swept. We didn't check the beds. They switched us to a new room with no problem. The second room was also dirty. Again, the floor looked like it hadn't been swept or vacuumed. Bathroom was dirty. The room smelled strongly of marijuana. Possibly from the neighboring room. They were talking loud and there was very little sound insulation. In addition, both rooms just had a bit of a dingy feel. When we contacted the front desk, the manager was clearly unhappy with us for having an issue. We have never left a hotel but we weren't staying here. The manager reluctantly canceled our reservation without penalty. Also, the area were the free breakfast was going to be was very small.

Hotel was definitely worth the stay. Room and bathroom were clean and cleaning staff were very friendly. Breakfast time was nice too. Not to many people (could have been the days I stayed). They would replenish items and if you asked for something to be refilled, they were quickly on top of it. Parking was the only downer—hotel was overbooked and no parking anywhere. We had to park in no parking zone, took pictures in case they towed us. Otherwise staff and hotel was great!

Sink drain was very bad as well as A/C was leaking on the floor inside the room. I immediately went to front desk, but they didn’t have another room available, so they put an order for the next morning to fix. Nothing was fixed. Just A/C temperature educed to 72 from 70. I wasn’t being able to reduce it by myself. I think the device was locked. It continued to leak. On the of checking out I mentioned it again at front desk, so the made surprised faces. Never again I would stay in that hotel. It is the real embarrassment to Hampton Inn. I used to stay in this chain of hotels last 25 years all around the country and never had such a terrible experience

Both nights our air conditioning would randomly turn off and not restart again.I had to wake up hot to reset it each time throughout the evening..Also I went down for coffee, and my digital key was disconnected because it said I checked out at 8:30a.m.. I had to bang on the door to wake my husband to open the door since obviously I had not checked out yet. We only ate breakfast one day since it was eggs in water and no meat. There was also no potatoes. Overall, the staff was friendly except I did not appreciate that she answered a lengthy phone call in the middle of my check in process while I was standing there waiting. It was not the worst hotel, but the waking up hot made us very happy to check out..

Had a dog across the hall on the 3rd floor take started barking at 10:30 at night. Breakfast didn’t have the variety I’m use to at Hampton chain . Clean room, big bathroom. Nice staff and good breakfast. Couple of minor issues knocked off a star:

Cabinet door which contained the frig. was broken and hung down a bit made the TV area of the room look unsightly and should have been fixed before the room was made available to guess.

Also it was a busy weekend in St. Augustine and Sat check-in was a bit hectic.

Parking area was on the small, tight side and parking spots were also a bit hard to come by which was somewhat frustrating since you are charged $15 a day for parking.

Loved the staff.They were awesome.The room had some issues. Tub was not clean there was hair in it.The TV did not get many channels and was not easy to operate.First night air was not working but they did replace unit on our second day.I would stay at this hotel again. Everything was excellent but the pricing. I was charged $300 more than I was quoted, got hit with a $15 a day parking fee, charged an extra $50 for “essentials” or some crap like that. I was really torqued that I had a handicap placard and was STILL mandated the Parking Fee

Honestly, doubt I ever stay there or any motel of the same name bc of these sneaky and underhanded pricing

Because of my points, I got upgraded to a \"Presidential Suite\", and was VERY excited! Turns out it used to be an old storage room that was converted into a hotel room. My view was part of the roof, there were doors that led to a storage closet on one side of the main room and on the other side, there were doors that led to a laundry room! I could hear someone washing hotel laundry late at night and early in the morning.

Also, the contential breakfast was VERY limited for a Hampton Inn.

This by FAR isn't the worst place to stay! My room aside, this is a good spot if you just need a place to lay your head at night while you do things during the day.

Save the headaches, look elsewhere.

First, the room had an AC leak I get it things don’t always work as they should so I was understanding. Next, the manager decided we should move to a new room. We moved our things went for dinner and came back and started to get ready for bed. We decided to watch TV to have a parental lock on it and needed a code. I called front desk to get the code she blamed residents before and happens sometimes.. no code was given and she stated the only option would be to change rooms again… meanwhile we have a 6 month old, 4 and 7 year old with us. There was no maintenance on duty or on standby… the icing on the cake when we decided to get under the covers finally to find nice amounts of bacon bits under the covers… we decided to drive home 1.5 hours away because the whole experience here was not to standards. We weren’t asking for anything irregular. We just wanted the minimum of what we paid for. I asked for a refund and manager said we can only give you 35% off the room. This is not how an establishment should be ran. It shows clearly the company is out of touch with this location. Let me save you the headache and look elsewhere than here. This is unacceptable and not near the bare minimum of standards.

The room was clean with nice amenities.
The breakfast buffet was okay. Some sugar cereals, an empty egg bin, sausage, and an empty potato bin. There were some mini scones but nothing to put on them and two pieces of toast. We arrived around 8:30 and the hours were 6-10. There was oatmeal and a waffle maker. Both days we stayed, the eggs were empty. They did get refilled the first day, however. The second day they were not so we ended up going to a restaurant for breakfast. We pay a little more to stay in a hotel with the free breakfast so it was disappointing.

Also, housekeeping is every OTHER day. So for our 2-day stay, we never experienced any housekeeping. This is beneath the standards that we expected for the price.

The front desk staff was very friendly! The hotel is close enough to walk to many of the things people go to St. Augustine for. Between the lack of housekeeping during our stay and the disappointing breakfast buffet, however, we will be looking for a different place to stay for next year.

Far from the heart of St. Augustine, more than a mile, not walkable for most. Trolley expensive! Bathroom shower fixtures didn't work, lower shower head, but upper one did. Seemed fragile about to break. Fridge tilted toward cabinet doors, drinks fell out everytime opened. Cabinet didn’t close, could be trip/bump into hazard.

Shantel - very nice. Felt as if she was welcoming us into her own home each time we saw her. Girl in laundry rm was VERY RUDE after being told of an accident, that we stripped the bed for her. She rolled her eyes, acted disgusted and didn't say \"Thanks\" or anything. Just turned - I was going to let her know how ugly her response was but yhisbwould have been a waste of my time. Training her in kindness and how to have respect for others thoughtfulness is way past due. She was only thing that was wrong with the staff.
