Beautiful and comfortable room. We just got a traditional room and it was still wonderful. Pool was perfect, the grounds were very well maintained, and the breakfast was perfect. And The Well was great too with a very friendly bartender. It’s a fantastic location as well - pleasantly quiet and still one block away from everything.

Amazing property and staff! The location is quite central. Easy walks to winery, distillery, St George St and Lincolnville. Historic houses but well maintained. Exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was more than adequate…expected only pastries and cereal, but had hot items too! The coffee was especially delicious. We stayed in the Spear house and had a balcony. We loved it. The bar had delicious drinks served by friendly and experienced bartenders (Shout out to John!). Pool is a plus for St Aug. We can’t wait to return very soon!

Quaint little B & B type place and I would stay here again if I travel to St Augustine again. It’s close to everything you want to see! Breakfast was great & my room was great. Only downside is the buildings are old and sound travels loudly when you’re on the second floor of a 3-4 room area of one of the cottages & the guests nearest your room don’t consider the need to close doors gently late in the evening or early in the morning. I would ask for a main floor room if I ever have the chance to return. Lovely place to stay overall!

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay for a quick visit to St. Augustine. While our room was not very large the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a great size. We were walking distance from everything we wanted to see in the historic district so it was nice to send the car with valet and not need it again. The staff was vert welcoming and helpful for restaurant selection. The bar was great for a last drink of the night. Adults only was nice as well!

We had such a wonderful stay at The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens. The location honestly could not have been better. Everything in downtown St. Augustine was so walkable, which made the whole trip feel relaxed instead of like some sweaty Florida parking scavenger hunt designed by demons.
One of the coolest parts of staying here is that the property is made up of historic homes, and hearing the stories behind them added so much character to the experience. It felt charming and unique without trying too hard to be “luxury rustic coastal vintage artisan” or whatever marketing people are calling things now.
The atmosphere was peaceful from the moment we arrived. We especially loved that it’s an adults-only property. It made the entire inn feel quiet, calm, and genuinely romantic. Perfect for couples wanting to slow down for a few days.
Breakfast each morning was simple, but very good, and the setting made it even better. Sitting outside in the quiet gardens with coffee in the morning felt incredibly relaxing.
The gardens themselves were beautiful and almost whimsical. There were so many flowers and interesting plants, including these unusual orange flowers that almost looked like they were floating. The whole property had this dreamy, tucked-away feeling.
Most importantly, the staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We had an amazing experience and would absolutely return.

The tile in the bathroom was beautiful with a nice hot shower. We enjoyed the fire pits in the morning for breakfast and in the evening. Staff was phenomenally polite and helpful. Breakfast was hot scones, croissants and muffins plus bacon, frittatas, salmon & capers plus fruit and yogurt. The only minor inconvenience was that the internet connection didn’t work well in the room and I had to go up to the office area to connect.

Quiet oasis in the middle of Saint Augustine. Easy walk to activities and dining. They also provide a great list of recommend restaurants. The bar called the Well was fantastic. Unique cocktails and fun staff.

We stayed here five years ago. Loved it! We splurged to go here again ($1300 for two weekend nights). Our experience was very different. The mood was glum. Except for the bartender and one of the valets, no one smiled or went out of their way to be helpful or welcoming. We found the service at chain hotels to be more friendly. The gardens and pool remain the same, pretty. The suite was very clean, but some of the furniture is showing wear. Parking is by valet and inconvenient. Every time we needed something from the car, we needed to call the valet. The parking lot is quite a ways away. Breakfast was nice but cold the second day. Maybe this was a one-off, but it is enough to send us to another hotel next time.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodations were very comfortable and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and always eager to assist in anyway. The grounds were beautiful old brick walks with gardens and fountains. The atmosphere of the property was very restful and soothing.

Lovely property and central to everything we wanted to do in St. Augustine. Breakfast could have used a few more options and variety as we were there for a week, but overall it was fine. The beauty and tranquil (mostly) made up for the breakfast. The “elevator” music playing by the pool and outside the bar all day long until after 10 at night got old after awhile. The gardens were beautiful and well arranged and our suite was very comfortable. So glad we picked this place to stay for the entire time.

Wonderful stay. It was our first vacation without children, very quiet, easy walk to most tourist spots except the old jail. We bought tickets for the hop on/ off trolley and enjoyed the 1:20 ride to see everything. One side of the property runs along George St, so just a few mins to the thick of it. The Collector is a priceless gem! It’s off the beaten path, yet still in the middle of it all. The staff are kind, helpful, and care about their guests. The property is unmatched to any I’ve stayed at, and I travel quite a bit for work. This is by far my favorite hotel to stay at.

This is a truly unique property! It was amazing having a quiet private garden compound of 9 historic properties that have been beautifully refurbished. The salt pool was lovely. Nice to have complementary breakfast on property. As well as the option for an evening drink at The Well or outdoor fire pit. The fact that it’s adults only makes it an even more special & relaxing experience. And it is walkable to many restaurants, shopping & historic attractions. Can’t wait to come back!

I liked the property however I did NOT like how I was not giving any of my VIP amenities. I asked for a room upgrade and was denied and was given the smallest room on property. They claimed the bed was a queen but it was more like a Full. For a 6'6 man this was extremely uncomfortable and I did not sleep well. I asked the front desk to please change me room after the first night of not sleeping and they were not willing to accomodate. Very disappointed especially since I was suppose to get upgraded to begin with.

The ambience of the property is so welcoming. Every staff member that I encountered was friendly, polite and helpful. The location to area attractions is unbeatable. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer! This will definitely be a place I will return to in the future.

Great location. Room fine, bathroom floor dirty but plenty of hot water!. Only 1 chair in the room, should have been 2. Breakfast lovely, but inadequate seating indoors/outdoors for inclement weather. Obviously understaffed for breakfast...no spoons, no bacon,(delicious bacon , by the way) no coffee when we arrived. Was remedied Staff friendly, great valet service.

This was not our first stay here. We've previously visited in summer. We visited St Augustine this time to take in Christmas. The Inn was very lacking in Holiday decorations. The room we stayed in had no headboard and pillows kept falling behind the bed. Additionally there were no USB plugs. No hotel room today should be without. We'll probably stay again but not at Christmas.
