The hotel has alot of charm and is decorated nicely. We had a room with 2 queen beds which was fairly cramped as it was fairly small, but doable. The air conditioner worked well, but it was very difficult to regulate the temperature so it was either too hot or too cold. The air conditioner was one of the old fashioned ones under the window, but controllable from either the wall thermostat or from the unit. The beds were fairly comfortable. There was no microwave in the room but it did have a small refrigerator. There was a breakfast buffet for an extra fee. The location was good, close to the tourist attractions through a short walk or drive. The room was fairly quiet, but we could hear some noise at times from other patrons. It was a decent hotel, but if we visited again for any length of time, we would probably find a hotel that had more spacious rooms.

The staff was nice, the place was very clean and the rooms are comformable. The location is halfway between the Old Jail and the Fort. It is a good 20 min. walk to St George Street. They charge significantly for parking, park on the street if you can and save $$. The pool has no shade, water is cold if you like that, and the hot tub is so hot you can cook food.

We arrived a day early, staff was very accommodating adding an extra day. I reserved a accessible room with roll-in shower. I use a walker and wheelchair. The rooms are spacious enough to use a power wheelchair easily. The only issue I had was the slope in the shower floor is so deep, makes using a walker quite difficult.

Nice, clean hotel, 15 minute walk to St. George Street.
Right across the street from Our Lady of Laleche Mission. Be sure to walk around the beautiful grounds here.
If you do the Old Town Trolley, hop on hop off, there's a stop right across he street from the hotel at the Mission. Lovely vintage shops, steps from the hotel, if that's your thing. Would stay here again.

We had an amazing room, the housekeeping,bar, and front desk staff were all great. Our only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was a little weak at times. Fabulous hotel - we'll definitely come back.

The room was clean, the bed soft and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Joseph does a great job. He’s constantly working to make sure everything is done. The Double Tree is lucky to have him. The staff at the front desk are also great.

Fo the rare we paid, we definitely pay for the location, not the condition. The hotel is definitely older and shows wear/age. The sheets were not breathable, we were uncomfortable and sweating even though the room was cool with the AC blasting.

Breakfast bar was the usual choices. Brisket grilled cheese from restaurant was outstanding. I found the renovations lovely, particularly the bathroom vanity and mirror. Basic building is worn, esp. the pool area. Microwave in the room would have been helpful. Tub was so slippery I couldn't let go of the safety bar. Nice choice of shampoo, etc.

Saw others with their pets but we had none. Being a pet lover this was nice to see. We prefer to sleep cool and the room temp was GREAT! Water pressure was the BEST! Excellent pressure and hot water!! Room was spotless with lots of pillows and excellent bedding. Staff was very nice & food was good. Being tired, we ate at the bar area and were pleased. Quiet area of town and easy walk to city center. 5 stars!!!!

Breakfast options were very expensive. Breakfast host was very nice and accommodating!!
For an upscale facility I would have expected more things. Microwave, free breakfast, refrigerator that worked.

People were out in the halls making noise until about 3am. I reported it to the hotel but they said they couldnt do anything about it. The bed was extremely hard and my husband thought the pillows were too soft. Those are obviously dependant on each person's taste. The Oak Room restaurant in the hotel was excellent.

We had a horrible experience at this location. Checked In only to find our “suite” was actually located in the Lobby. Extremely loud, only spot in the hotel without carpet so every thing rolling by was so loud we had to turn the tv volume up to cover it. Later on in the stay, we realized the door did not lock. So if we were not inside with the deadbolt on, anyone could push the door open and enter. We had to move to a different room that was not a suite. The front desk was not very helpful because we booked through Expedia. One night we stayed in and planned to eat at the bar. Took 20 minutes to get a drink so decided not to even wait to order food. Hilton usually does better! That’s why we usually stay at Hilton properties. This one is a definite no.

Find a different place to stay. Booked a king room with shower for Valentine’s Day and arrived to two queens with a dirty tub. Wasn’t told prior to going up that the room we booked was given away, so had to call down and deal with situation. Receptionist could have cared less and said it was due to booking through Expedia.

The only Bad thing, personal preference, the bed is EXTREMELY HARD. Neither my wife or I liked it, it actually caused us to get minimal sleep- will not stay in a double tree again because of this

The location is perfect, as it is within walking distance of downtown activities. I appreciated not having to move my car for the duration of my stay. Overall, the experience was classy and comfortable.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The first friendly face to greet us was Olivia. Excellent check in. The room was clean and the location was great. We were able to walk everywhere. The refrigerator didn’t work but was not a big deal. Overall would stay there again if we ever go back.

Room was ok but hairs on sheets, something splattered inside lampshade by bed, rug didn’t look like it had been vacuumed with debris on it, smelled like cigarette smoke throughout the night (obviously not hotel’s fault), we couldn’t figure out how to turn off light on the stand above fridge so that was on all night keeping me awake.

Overall, it was just an okay experience. The hotel itself is simple and perfectly fine if you just need a place to sleep, but there’s nothing special or memorable about it.

The front desk staff was the biggest disappointment. They didn’t seem to have any real hospitality training, not friendly, not welcoming and their interactions felt very dry and indifferent. A warmer, more professional approach would make a big difference for guests checking in and out after a long day.

The room was clean and functional, so it served its purpose, but if you’re looking for something charming or with standout service, this may not be the best option.

They didn’t go far enough with the renovations. I paid a good price expecting a comfortable room but that didn’t happen.
The bathroom door doesn’t close. In order to get some privacy,we had to prop something up against it to keep it from coming open.
The bedding is old. Instead of being white, it was grey.
The shower is slippery yet no shower mat is provided.
I won’t be returning there.
