The property was not maintained. Looked run down. Bed squeaked. Not great.
Joanne
Rooms need updating
Sarah
Room was not as clean as I would have expected. Had to ask for floor to be mopped as walking on it our feet got dirty. Beds need to be replaced. Overall not terrible but will pick a different place for our next trip to St. Augustine.
RICARDO
Check in too late

Very clean and centrally located.

The biggest problem we had was NO A/C! St Augustine in the summer. The A/C's fan blew, but did not cool. HORRIBLE experience. Additionally, the wifi lost connection for 30-40 seconds every 4-5 minutes. Very unstable.
blaine
This hotel is serviceable for the price. It is a motel with doors leading outside.
Ann
Beds slept great, room door was hard to open and needed some fresh paint, close to the historical area, pool looked very clean, great price
Mary
Everything was fine, but the trap underneath the sink stunk so bad.
carlos
Great spot and good pricing.
magdalyz
It was an awesome stay conveniently close to amenities in the city and a restaurant in same building
Lisa
The hotel location is good to what you may want to see in St Augustine. After driving for 16 hours and checking in with our pup, our room was located in a separate building behind the main building. The front desk reception prided on the ‘ice machine’ and ‘laundry room’ located on the first floor. Once we found the building and unpacked - went to get ice AND the ‘ice machine’ wasn’t working so off to find another one! Decided to clean up after a long drive and take a shower - water wasn’t draining. My husband had to wait. Went to call the front desk from the desk phone - and that didn’t work! That left us to settle in and wind down to watch a little TV and it turned on but couldn’t get any reception. We were 3 for 3. Eventually spoke with someone at the desk about everything and because it was ‘so late’ and there was no maintenance around they said they would send someone at 9am. The following morning WE had to call at 10:30am because no one came like they told us. Thank goodness we were only staying 2 days. Never again!

This place is worth about 60 dollars a night. 150 is ludicrous. I’ve stayed at many hotels throughout my life and have figured out you can always judge a hotel by the bathrooms in the lobby. The cracked out ceiling tiles where the first red flag along with several other things. I wish I’d read the reviews because I would’ve picked a different spot. Luckily, my room didn’t have roaches like many of those reviews mentioned, but it did have ants. Don’t pay 150 for this place. It’s not worth it.
Damein
My son is 19 and wanted to spend a weekend in St Augustine by himself. The downside to all this is that 90% of your hotels require you to be 21 and older. This is one of the few hotels in St Augustine that allows you to be 18 and older. Service was excellent staff was friendly rooms were clean check in and check out was perfect. My son had a great time love the room.
Randy
This was such a great bang for your buck. The rooms are clean and it’s walking distance to the town. I will be staying here again!!!

Bad check in experience. The woman wasn’t pleasant. I could tell she didn't like her job, the room was clean when we got there. The AC didn’t work properly. It just ran and ran. The toilet paper and bath towels were rationed. One of the male maids when he asked me if I needed anything, I asked him for extra towels he hesitated to give them to me. He said he had to account for them. Towards the end of my stay, when I was out for the day, one male maid left more. Around the third day I was fluffing up my pillows and discovered blood stains on it. When I told the woman maid about it she gave me a hard time. Then i discovered a blood stains on the sheet below the covers, needless to say I didn’t sleep under the covers. My advice is to check your bed sheets before you sleep in them.
Jose A
Nice and quiet, very restful place. Liked the peaceful nature of the place.
Melea
The sheet had a few nasty stains on them so I asked the front desk if they could be changed. She said the housekeepers had left for the day but she could give me sheets or switch rooms. I had already unpacked so I opted to put the sheets on myself. She failed to mention that for some reason they don’t keep fitted sheets? Found it very strange and the fact that they didn’t take the stains more seriously was concerning. Must be a normal occurrence which makes me question the cleanliness of the whole hotel
Bryan
We've stayed at this hotel a few times now. Rooms were clean, AC worked great, area is quite but close to historic area and the Dennys restaurant is super convenient. Good deal for the price.
Shannon
The pool deck needed some care but the pool its self was crystal clear and clean. The room was also very clean for an older hotel. For the price and location I would stay again
Samuel
AC to noisy
John
The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Everything in good working order. While the exterior of the building is a little drab and uninspiring, the room inside was very welcoming. It’s an easy walk to St George Street. My only issue is that there is no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, be sure to secure a first-floor room. We would stay there again.
SANDRA
Everything was excellent. Location, parking, staff, free coffee! Room was clean and bed was comfy. Water temp and pressure could’ve been a little better. We would def stay again!
Pam
It would be nice to have special rates for people out of state visiting family in hospital ICU.
Julie
Waiting an hour to check in was rough and the air conditioning didn't seem to be working very well. I saw the one employee leave as the line grew longer. Why didn't she stay and help the other employee with the check ins? At least if you're gonna leave, do so by the back door. Beds were awful, so broken down on the edge, felt like I was gonna fall out. The rest
CLARA
Vey nice employees and well kept
Moriah
At check-in, we were greeted by a rude staff member.
The property outside is dirty, and it's above a Denny's restaurant.
The room was clean; however, we had to kill multiple pests.
There were sketchy-looking people watching us as we went to our car.
The bathroom was surprisingly clean. We never got room service.

It's a great location. Staff was great. It's a 2 story building, and it's stairs only. The restaurant is Denny's, open twenty four hours.

The room was dated but clean, as well as the surrounding areas. Check in/out processes were super fast and easy. Pool well maintained . 24 h Dennys in the property with fair service. Parking area is big, althought there are not assigned spaces for room. Air conditioning is noisy but does its job. . The hotel is close to the historic area. We will be definitely returning. Decent hotel for the price you pay.
Theresa
The pool was immaculate. Would have really liked an ironing board and an iron. Didn't realize that the laundry room didn't accept plastic and couldn't get 15 quarters anywhere
Veronica
A reat close to downtown and many fast food restaurants. Nice staff
Dinorah

The staff was not friendly. The room smelled bad. The AC unit was old and smelled musty. It looked like someone had tried to break in the door, it had a chunk knocked out of it. We left as soon as we saw the room. i would not recommend this hotel.
Jacob
Muy limpio. Muchas toallas y buena ducha
Camas cómodas.
Solo faltó un armario pequeño con colgadores.

So we had a couple of problems. Tub didn't drain, the water pressure was great. Beds were hard as a rock. As if laying on floor. Very uncomfortable a very bad night's rest. No we will not be staying at this days inn again. When you tell the staff at the desk she just chuckled. Property is outdated definitely needs a money spent on it.
Samantha
the pet policy is dogs 25 pound or UNDER and you can only book a standard room with 2 beds.
This place is run down and has clientele that mirrors that. At time felt unsafe.

Everything was good for a one-night stay. The website advertised that there would be a breakfast included in the stay. There is no breakfast.
Hailey
parking was good and free, room was clean, staff was okay, air conditioning was normal and cold, fridge took a long time to get cold but stayed cold once cold
Jessica
Front desk was rude and bad attitude. Room had a lot of ants and spiders. Was having hard time opening the door after put in card. Bathtub facuet was leaking. The atmosphere in the room was very humidity. Online picture is not as advertised. Trolley tour was mentioned included on online but in person it’s not.
Robert
Room was neat and clean. Slightly dated but, served the purpose for rest and relaxation. Parking was good. A/C worked great. Plus it’s within walking distance to downtown ST Augustine.
Mackenzie
There were bugs in the room, left after a few hours. Hotel was accommodating in refunding a night. Good location though.
Odette

It was better this trip then during covid.
lisa
Hoped for a hot shower. .big let down. Roaches in first room construction nails in walk way. Loud guests
Robin
I am an 82 yr old DAV and they refused to help with my luggage and they offer no luggage cart and they put in rm 141 all the around the hotel and the next to last room. The chair in the room had 2 broken casters. I left as soon as I could and left the room in perfect order (I took before and after pics. Worse of all they are refusing to surrender my $100.00 security deposit.
Andrew
Roach infested hotel. Be aware. Stay else where. Zero stars.

Sewer flies in the room and flying around. Backed up water tub drain and had dirty water coming up from the drain. Stained sheets and dirty floors. Outdated rooms
Stephanie
Roaches all in the rooms!!!! The small German roaches where seen right when we walked in but if we got up during the night to go to bathroom…. There were many crawling in there!

Within walking distance to downtown.
Richard
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, there was so much paint on the bathroom door that it wouldn't close completely causing paint to chip off. The tub drain very slow ended up in ankle deep water after every shower. great location walking distance to downtown. Price was reasonable for a weekend
Douglas
The inn advertizes having breakfast. They do not provide any.
They could easily offer a discount coupon for the adjacent restaurant.
I will never stay there again!
