All the rooms have either a balcony or a patio overlooking the harbor and the drawbridge. It was very relaxing sitting outside watching the boats go by. The extra large hot tub is like a small pool and also was very nice. The breakfast would be hard to beat. It was within walking distance of two breweries, a great seafood restaurant, and downtown

The included breakfast was excellent and much more than we could eat. The wait staff were beyond exceptional - Belinda, Toni, and the cook (didn't get his name) were just the nicest, most pleasant people you could ask for. We looked forward to going to breakfast every morning.
The room was very nice and clean, however one thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the floors. There was sand on our floors for days after we went to the beach. Again, the cleaning staff were always pleasant and greeted us when we ran into them.
The front desk staff was very nice, also. We enjoyed the evening \"social hour\". The appetizers were always tasty and creative and the Sauvignon Blanc was one of the best I've had.

Loved sitting on the patio in the evening and watching the ships and sailboats. Easy to get downtown and so many unique shops. Loved rain water shower head and soft towels and wash rags. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud and felt so good after shopping all day! The breakfast was made with care and very tasty. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

I have stayed before and must admit the breakfast isnt the best , very nice server , arrived at 9am so wondered if we were late , breakfast cold , wrong order arrived but it didn't really bother us so didnt eat it , coffee nice. The staff are excellent, friendly and professional.

I had an amazing 2-night stay at Marker 8 Hotel and Marina in St. Augustine, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. I stayed in room 209, and the view was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect way to start and end each day.
The housekeeping team was very attentive, making sure everything was spotless and comfortable throughout my stay. The room itself was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference.
What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone, including the front desk team, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their attitude made the experience even better.

This property was just what we were looking for. Reasonably priced clean and located perfectly within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. All rooms faced the bay and the marina. We loved watching the dolphins and the boats go in and out. The breakfast was a hit every morning. Not the usual breakfast buffet. And the social hours in the evening were a nice offering. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Parking is tricky. The parking lot is small and fills quickly. Good thing so much is within walking distance. Claim a spot. The hotel is fantastic. The view alone makes the parking lot a non-issue.

Parking was super easy and free, room was comfy, bed was amazing! Ac could have been better, we fought with it all night to try and cool down the room. We ended up asking for a box fan at front desk but they didnt have one. They graciously gave us their small fan so we could use it to sleep!

We pop down to St. Augustine a few times a year and have stayed here probably 7-8 times. Great location, easy walk across the bridge to downtown or to multiple restaurants, breweries on the island side. Staff is always friendly and rooms are clean. Looking forward to our next stay.

Nice 2 story hotel with a small pool overlooking the marina and yes a 10 minute walk over the bridge gets you to St George St, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is very good with hot or cold beverage daily. Evening snacks are also tasty and thoughtful. All hotel staff was great, specifically Gery. He had such great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

Hotel is beautiful and location is perfect with amazing water views. The breakfast was excellent and customer service as well from the front desk to the restaurant. Gina at the front desk was extremely helpful answering questions even before we arrived which we really appreciated! Unfortunately there was a strong odor in our room when we arrived and we saw mold in our AC unit as well as the AC in the lobby and the AC vents in the breakfast room above our table which made us uneasy. My boyfriend cleaned our AC unit and room himself the first night to remove the odor but we felt uncomfortable with the mold so we checked out a day earlier than planned.. We informed the front desk for future reference and they credited the extra night to us. We really hope they handle the mold issue especially for the health of their own staff who breathe it in daily and is harmful for their health. The strong odor in the room could also be a result of cleaning products used so recommend no scent products is that’s partially to blame.

The room was in good condition and the staff was very courteous however it was freezing outside and we went to turn on the heat but then an immediate smell of plastic entered the room which then set off the fire alarm and we had to lower it to 69 degrees and open up the window so that the smell of plastic would leave the room it was so cold that we had to sleep in our coats and every time the heat did attempt to come on it would sound like an airplane was landing in the room it was so incredibly loud then in the middle of the night I went to use the bathroom and there was a huge Roach this was a very uncomfortable situation to sleep in
