The pull out mattress had brown stains all over it. The first night I called and asked for a mattress topper. After 2hrs of waiting I finally gave up and went to bed. The second night was the same. We waited so long we just went to bed. The third night they brought 4 comforter's instead. I spent a decent amount of money to surprise my son and wife with a great trip. I'm embarrassed the service was so terrible towards us.

Very nice hotel. Kids loved the pool area- they brought out a snow cone machine and even had toys/floats for families to enjoy. Beach access is very easy and 2 chairs are included with resort fee (umbrella is extra). They have a “managers reception” which like a free happy hour and it’s nice for a glass of sangria or wine, but don’t expect anything too fancy. Restaurant on site was delicious for dinner and breakfast was simple but the omelet counter definitely elevates the rest of the options. We had a partial view balcony and view was great. Pull out couch is rough- could use an upgrade. Parking is valet only which is nice in theory but if you have to go in and out several times, tips could start to add up (on top of the nightly charge, separate from resort fee). Overall though, we would 100% stay again.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Our first stay (11/2025) was absolutely amazing so we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, it was not the same experience. When we arrived the front desk over night staff was rude and unhelpful. When we asked for a late check out (due to arriving at 1:30 am) she stated it would be an extra $25 upcharge, although on the website it stated there is a $0 upcharge for late check out. Our room smelled HEAVY of cat urine/cat liter, our hotel phones were not working, and there was mold on the shower door/shower floor. We paid almost $400 for a one night stay in room for 6 people but had 3 towels in the bathroom for all of us to share. All this was mentioned to the front desk staff in the morning and all that was provided was an apology. The amenities were good- breakfast, gym, staff at the pool were very friendly and the beach was beautiful. Unfortunately due to inconsistency in experiences from one stay to another and condition of the hotel room, we will not be coming back.

Breakfast was very good with many options and the bar food was decent, however the Cantina restaurant (pool bar) was only open when the weather was sunny and there was very little “resort” feel unless the weather was perfect. With the pool bar closed, guests were told to order from the Rhum Bar, but when I asked for a virgin pina colada for my daughter, I was told they could not make one because they didn’t have a blender. That’s pretty offensive given I paid over $600/night. Buy a blender, I’m pretty sure you can afford one.

Shower door wouldn’t stay shut and would open by itself.. track not level. 2 restaurants but no menus in rooms.. they should have that. Had an issue with valet where our car was parked outside on the exit ramp for 2 days, they didn’t know where it was at. Blaimed on new staff, but manager took off charges. No one came by to clean our room or ask us if we needed anything for 2 days. Had to get items from front desk. Staff generally nice, great breakfast, and beautiful property… just need to get a few things more together.. weird experience

This hotel was a major disappointment. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority—both the rooms and common areas were noticeably dirty, and the lobby rugs were especially unacceptable. It really needs serious quality control when it comes to housekeeping and overall maintenance.

The elevators were also malfunctioning during my stay, which made getting around inconvenient and frustrating.

Additionally, the breakfast options showed no consideration for dietary or cultural restrictions, as all meat options were pork with no alternatives provided.

Overall, this stay fell far below expectations and needs significant improvement.

The location, amenities were amazing, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful; especially the valet service; and we enjoyed the social hour every evening ... The only thing to be aware of, is that we did not have any dressers to put our clothes in, fortunately, we had a 2 room suite so we had room to lay our clothes out on the couch and tables. It was absolutely beautiful and we definitely recommend it and plan to go back!!!

Room was dirty. Shower tile fallen off, shower handle loose, mold & mildew all over shower, floor very dirty (rooms only dust mopped), sheets pulled, coverlet and bed pad soiled with stains and urine.
Very nice pool area but the patio cushions were very tired and in need of replacement as the seating was brick hard. Lobby sofas need a good cleaning.
Smokers randomly around common areas not the designated smoking area.

Great location - beachfront with a beautiful beach, and only a few minutes’ drive into historic St. Augustine. Beach trolley pickup versus fighting parking also a plus! Highly recommend.

Rooms are sterile, no amenities, living room standing light way too bright.
Took 45 minutes to get keys to new room (first room was wrong room type) with no offer from staff to help move my things to new room.
Did not request housekeeping until day 3. Housekeeper never made the beds - no change of sheets or even an attempt at pulling up the covers!

The check-in was unacceptable. Booked through Hotels.com because I was on the road and not sure what was available in the are as it was an unplanned trip. Once I arrived at the hotel they said that the “description” of the room on Hotels.com was wrong and that there was not a similar room available. We specifically ordered a king suite, full ocean, with balcony. There were less expensive options for partial ocean, patio, etc but king suite, full ocean, balcony was picked and paid for. There was no savings for booking on Hotels.com, the price on the Hilton website for that same room was the same but in their words I was “misinformed” . They tried to get me to settle for 2 substandard rooms and it took almost 2 hours to get a room. Finally because I was polite but persistent they “upgraded” me to a room which was what I had selected to start. The whole process was very frustrating, especially after a long day of traveling.
To make matters worse, the in-room dining was available until 10 pm. After 2 hours of jockeying w rooms I called in-room dining at 9pm. There was no way to order online, you had to call. They kept me on hold or disconnected the call for 36 minutes. Bouncing around between the front desk, the bar, and the restaurant, no one had a motivation to help. Finally at 936pm the Rhum Bar answered. This option was listed for in-room dining available until 10pm. However I was told in-room dining was closed. No options available for food. The whole experience was awful.

Amazing New Year’s Eve Stay!

We had a fantastic stay celebrating New Year’s Eve at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to ring in the New Year.

The atmosphere was festive and well organized, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel special throughout our stay. Amenities were excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely stay here again!

This was our first stay here. The hotel is very pretty and clean. The free buffet breakfast was very good too. The staff was friendly. My only complaint is that our room had a “wet dog” smell. They said that they had deep cleaned it but it still smelled pretty bad. The rest of the hotel did not have that smell. It is a pet friendly hotel so I can understand that but other pet friendly hotels have a select number of rooms that a pet free areas for people choosing to stay there without pets. Otherwise it is a great place to stay for your vacation.
