Wont go vack! It was my third time there. The location was great, a bit far from the crowded, yet very convenient for shopping. However, the manager was mean, and have a very cold serious look, didn't let me change the room when i checked in or did any accommodating even i told him that i would stay for 6 nights. To my big surprise and upset, he didnt let me store a luggage even for one night when i checked out, very inconsiderate, it ruined my plan, no, never go gack!

Do not let the other reviews and photos fool you - we had a horrible experience at this hotel and we will never return. The building is very old and dated. The rooms give you the biggest icky feeling. The shower is what drove us out of the hotel. The bathroom itself was not clean and there were molds in the shower. My father took a shower and realized there is no hot water so I called the front desk to inform them. It shocked us all when he told us that we just need to turn on the hot water by the sink and let it run for 10 mins and we’ll get hot water in the shower. Not to mention that the shower knob came loose and the front desk told me “oh, that’s just for decoration, you don’t have to worry about that”. We booked two rooms and both had the same issues. Not to mention the rest of the room is old and dirty. Carpets had stains, wallpapers peeling, and bed sheets had previous customers’ hair on them. We initially booked for 11 nights and we knew we couldn’t stay there any longer so we spoke with the manager and left this place to a better hotel. This hotel caters to group tours which may be okay for them but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you’re looking for a nice and comfortable stay.

Decent Budget Stay with Room for Improvement – ★★★☆☆

Stayed at Best Western Plus Tsim Sha Tsui for a few nights. The location is definitely the highlight — right in the heart of Kowloon with easy access to MTR, buses, and taxis or Uber right at the doorstep. For the price, it’s a fair deal, especially if you’re not too picky and just need a place to crash.

That said, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The windows were oddly placed high up and looked out onto nothing, which made the space feel more cramped. The bed was quite small for two people, and the room overall felt tight. Cleanliness was just about acceptable — not spotless, but tolerable. Several fixtures were in poor condition: the water kettle had a broken lid, the toilet seat felt like it was on its last legs, and most of the furnishings seemed overdue for replacement or upgrade.

If you’re traveling on a tight budget and prioritize location over comfort, this place might work. But if you’re looking for a more comfortable or modern stay, you may want to explore other options.

Room was new and I cannot fault it, except, toilet paper was in a box on the table (there was none in the usual place) and the shower drain cover was detached. On one occasion, the corridor outside my room was slightly untidy and dirty, due to housekeeping logistics. Also, a neighbour came back at 1am and made significant noise with their door. Overall, the hotel was amazing value and staff made me feel welcome.

Staff was accomodating and let us check in an hour early. Housekeeping staff was attentive to change out towels and clean. Plumbing was very noisy, especially starting about 6am each morning. Toilet did not always flush completely. We never could figure out how to get any channels on the TV - no instructions (we could have asked, but didn't). Given that our reservation was for 8 days, I feel we should not have been given a room right across from the housekeeping closet. It started to get noisy in the hallway early. The location was very convenient for us. We would stay there again.

It was smooth sailing checkin n checkout.
Very Good Location.
The Asst Manager allowed for late checkout to 1pm, when i requested..
Room was good size, bathroom good too.
Amneties have been reduced ever since Covid,
But Suggest
1. Atleast provide 2 water bottles for drinking.
Although cost is less than 1 Usd, & just a stones throwaway,
It is inconvenient due to jetlag.
2. Also Give good strong tea
Maybe Tata, Tetley , Lipton or Twinnings black tea.
Coffee was very good.

I never leave reviews but this one i have to. This the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Even Saliva on the curtains. Room smells of toxic chemicals, left hotel after a few hours and they offered no refund and slammed the phone down on me, rude. Just a terrible experience. Never book this hotel, it needs to be closed down due to health and safety and security issues.

You book a Best Western as you know you can expect a certain standard well forget that in fact do not stay here.
The place is a total dump, the room was 10 years past needing renovating, everything was broken and dirty and the bathroom was like an 80s museum piece. But more than that I found the emergency fire door on our floor with a sign on saying 'must be kept closed' propped open with a massive laundry basket blocking the doorway! I have forwarded photos to the HK Fire Dept for their thoughts on the hotels lack of safety standards. I will also be contacting Best Western to ask why this place is still part of the brand when it is so dreadful.

Room size is sufficiently comfortable for 2 and walking distance to the metro. Also need to a well know cafe, with good food really available. The only not so good is the configuration of the toilet with its toilet bowl being close to the wash basin. On the whole, still a good stay.

Where to begin? Room was tiny, literally no place to even put a small weekend backpack. Everything was filthy, bed rock hard , mold on bathroom walls, towels threadbare. Should’ve listened to other reviewers and stayed somewhere else. The area is what it is, I had to stay in Kowloon so it was ok. I’m sure there’s other cheaper rat holes to stay at, stay away from this dreadful hotel, truly don’t know how it is called a best western.

This hotel is old and dilapidated. The chalking in the bathtub area is filled with black mildews. The chalking around the wash basin in unprofessionally done. The bath tub water control needs a operational decal. The bath tub water control cap broke off. The wash basin water flow was weak. Bathroom exhaust is weak.

The mini refrigerator was caked up with ice and need defrosting. After defrosting the drip pan was full off water making drainage challenging. This should have been done by the hotel staff and refrigerator should have been turned off or turned down with a reminder for visitors to turn on or turn up the refrigerator to their desired coldness.

Air conditioner control was old with illegible worn out dial controls and manual toggle switches from 1970's, but the A/C was cold though.

The lighting was very weak. there is not ceiling lamp or lighting. You need to turn on the LED bedside reading lamp if you need to read anything in your room.

The floor carpet was dusty. Hotel elevators was old and small.

Overall, I would not book this hotel again and I would not suggest anyone to book this hotel.

- Hotel staff tried to enter my room at late night around 23:00- midnight while I’m stayed alone in the room which very scary.
- I could hear all the noise from room nearby.
- No drinking water provides.

- No customer service for staff at all levels and area.
- My credit card have been charged 3 days prior stay without informing eventually I chose to pay on spot.

Not bad overall. It seems to be located in a very good area, with a lot of convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants & bars, and shopping malls within 5-15 mins walking distance. The room was a bit tight to be honest, with certain areas of the room needing repairs or renovation. Although, a good place to book if you're only looking for a place to stay in a prime location while in Hong Kong. Very affordable price.

The hotel was very in the central of Tsimshatsui. Well convenient to Metro and all the shopping areas.
The bad part of the hotel was it's not noise concealed enough. You will hear people talking and opening, closing the doors.
The room i stayed in was bit run down carpet had stains! The room itself was quite dim. The air-conditioning was very cold at night can't be turned.

The location is great also the hotel staff is very professional, and the hotel lobby only shows the standard of this type of hotel, and the rest of the hotel requires complete renovation. The room I stayed in had stained and damaged floor coverings, and the bathroom was a tragedy for a hotel of this class: dirty stains on the walls, cracked tiles, the bathtub had visible damage to the coating, and many silicone seals to stop water leaks. Such a bathroom is not suitable for use in a hotel of this class & price. I have a membership in Best Western hotels, but it was the worst Best Western hotel I have ever stayed in, and this Plus supplement on hotel’s name is probably a joke because I saw almost only minuses.

If there is a rating less than 1 star, I would have voted that. Bathroom is so filthy that I do not want to walk on the floor bare footed. Black mold on all the chalking around the washing basin and the bathtub. Washing basin was clogged and ask housekeeping to clear it, the responds were : It is only a little clog. I thin Expedia should un-list this property.
