Our stay at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel was nothing short of exceptional.

We chose this hotel as the final stop of our Asia journey, celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary, and initially selected it because of the rooftop swimming pool. At the time of booking, we were informed that the pool would be under renovation, and although that was disappointing, we decided to proceed.

What we did not anticipate was how remarkable the overall experience would be.

From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. The staff welcomed us warmly, handled every detail with care, and made us feel genuinely valued. As a thoughtful gesture for our anniversary, we received a room upgrade, a beautiful card, wine, and sweets — a surprise that truly touched us.

The room was stunning, with breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour that are simply priceless. The hotel’s design, from the floral arrangements to the elegant use of wood in the lobby and elevator areas, reflects refined taste and attention to detail.

Breakfast was excellent, both in quality and service, and every interaction with the team reinforced the hotel’s commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Guest Relations Team and to all staff members who made our 27th anniversary so memorable. This hotel exceeded all expectations, and we would gladly return.

The room was spacious, near to the Coliseum (will be very convenient if you are attending a concert like I did), location is great. Staffs were very helpful and friendly too. But the toilet had strong smell, I guessed someone smoked in it previously. So pls specify for a smoke free room for whoever going next!

This hotel is fantastic! Great service, clean, and buffet breakfast was tasty. Rating this 4 stars and not 5 b/c our room was advertised as sleeping 4 people. We were travelling as a family w/ a 9yo and 12yo. BUT the room only had one king bed. There is not way out while family could sleep in one king bed. We orders a cot, which we had to pay extra for, and our 9yo had to sleep in bed with us. The rooms should be advertised for 2 adults (possibly + 1 child).

The room is spacious by HK standards. We had a big area to walk about in the room and put our luggages. The staff were really friendly and made our stay wonderful. They even helped us get a bigger 4-seater taxi on the day we checked out as we had 7 luggages. We took one taxi directly to airport which made the journey easier and more economical (vs 2 taxis or to transfer to Airport Express line). Depending on whether you can walk, the only possibly a con wasthat we have to walk about 5 to 7min to the nearest MRT station at TST East Station (which was ok for me, but my group has young children and elderly).

The toilet comes with Japanese style bidet which was so comfortable especially in the cold weather( the toilet bowl was heated). Overall, very nice and comfortable hotel. Highly recommended.

The room was very clean and the ladies were very attentive to our needs.

We were impressed with our concierge Raymond Woo who listed to our needs for excursions on our own. We wanted to take in Hong Kong with local transportation such as the metro and Ferry. He gave us the exact routes to Victoria peak and we were able to view the beautiful sunset.

We had lunch at the restaurant he recommended and it was very tasty with excellent service. We loved it so much that we returned the next evening to try Korean barbecue…again so delicious and delightful. Raymond gave us helpful tips such as where to view the light show in the evening and where to buy luggage.

The following morning we wanted to go to Church and also to view the Buddha. So he directed us to the the bus system, subway, and the tram. Coming down from the tram, we had a beautiful view of the full moon on the horizon. It was truly spectacular. The instructions Raymond provided were exact and the journey was seamless.

Raymond provided outstanding service with respect and kindness. We are so grateful to him for assisting us to have an incredible experience in Hong Kong.

The room is spacious and washroom is big. However, the room is impossible to accommodate family of 4 unless your kids are under 4 or 5 years old because the single bed is small. I would suggest hotel should mention about that. Otherwise, people think it can really accommodate 4 people. But we appreciated that during our stays, the hotel offered us an extra bed.

This is an excellent hotel well located a 5 minute walk from the MTR at Tsim Sha Tsui East. The rooms are amazing but I would opt for a harbour view and pay the extra, as we chose a city view and are looking at other hotel rooms.

The breakfast buffet has a good variety but we arrived near the end and were seated away from the main area and were rushing to eat as the buffet was about to close and had long lines waiting at the egg station. This is the only reason I didn’t rate the buffet as excellent.

We had room 1511 with Lounge access. The view in our room was fantastic. We can see the Hong Kong harbor. The Lounge also had a great view of the harbor, plus there is food between 5:00 - 7:00PM. Our room was very clean, and the amenities in our room (Drinks) were included. The staff on the Lounge floor was excellent. They help us get around Hong Kong, what to see, and recommend Restaurants for us to try. We even checked out with the staff in the Lounge so we don’t have to go down to the lobby floor. Our breakfast was included and the food was great. The breakfast menu changes daily so it didn’t get boring.

The property is well located but dated. Water stains are obvious (these are stains that are properly cleaned and maintained for a long time) on taps and metal parts of the rooms, especially in shower area of the room. The room also have rusty/poorly maintained wall (especially at the bottom of wall along the alley beside the shower). The room is also musty - requested for dehumidifier but the smell could not be removed. Given this is a 5 star hotel, it is much expected for the room to be better maintained.

We had paid for dinner buffet during our stay - as it is a dinner buffet, the used plates has to be constantly cleared off before we can get new rounds of food. The waitress was slow in keeping the used utensil and had an attitude despite having us to approach (politely) her for assistance in clearing our table at least 3 times. In fact, we noticed that she was selectively clearing other tables (clearing other tables more frequently, like every 5 mins or so) but kept ignoring us. She even hand signed she is busy with other table when their tables were not brimming with used plates and waste as compared to our table . We are unsure if this is discriminatory but it was an unpleasant experience. It heavily discounted our experience despite the good food and price.

In general, the stay was ok but for a 5-star hotel, we expected more.

The hotel should have offered alternative solutions for our situation, rather than placing us in an undesirable position. We arrived in Hong Kong at 5:00 AM, and by the time we reached the hotel around 7:00 AM, we had nowhere else to go. Upon inquiring about early check-in, we were informed that the cost would be HKD 700.00 per day. Given our eight-night stay for two rooms, we were charged an additional HKD 13,000.00. The hotel should explore other options.

Staff were great, they will greet you as soon as you get off your car/taxi and bring your luggage to your room. They also surprised me with a birthday note and cake which was really appreciated. We booked the deluxe harbour view so the view was amazing day and night. Property/room was very clean, spaceous with nice amenities. A lot of dining and shopping options around. Close to the mtr. They have restaurants on site but we did not get to check them out. We will be back.

Booked a city view room but got upgraded sorta to a city/harbour view room due to the length of nights we were staying. Love the new go green program they have that allows you to accumulate credit if not needing cleaning daily in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed, they were very courteous. Room was clean. Bathroom could use better ventilation though.
