The staff when I arrived continue to be on his phone after I announced I was at the desk. The hall smell of marjuian. The shower was not clean. I’ve been to quite a few Motel 6. This one was the worse one I stayed at.

Normally i read the reviews before booking. But i dropped the ball this time due to rushing. But this Motel is strictly for those that don't want to sleep. All night you hear people fighting and arguing in the hall doors slamming. And me calling the front desk to report it was a waste of time no one ever did anything about it. Waste of money i just left at 4 am in the morning

When I arrived, I was told my reservation was not accepted because I used a third party (hotels.com) that they don’t accept. After about a hour of back and forth with motel 6 and hotels.com I was able to check in. I requested a first floor room and they put me on the third floor (smoking floor) which smelled awful. They had signs that said no pets but I saw plenty. The place smelled awful, the beds were uncomfortable, the walls are paper thin, and there are only two wall outlets in the entire room! There were all types of shady people doing shady things. A exiting guest warned me not to check in but I didn’t listen. Unfortunately I was there for a few nights because I had no where else to go. However, I will say this: I wouldn’t stay there again if it was free.

Rooms from Hell

I’ll start with room 1.. killed two roaches, toilet seat broken and it looked slanted, shower was half clean the previous people left their soap box in the shower which had stuck to shower wet and paper shaggy. linen was terrible(we went to Walmart and bought blankets and pillows cases for both rooms, light in shower area came off and on, on its own, rooms had a off putting smell(I bought a spray bottle of disinfectant and wiped down both rooms. Shower heads trickled down water(we couldn’t take a good shower) we went downstairs to the front desk to tell the guy about everything and sat there giving us a look like”Yeah I know” admitting that they had roaches also raccoons that eat through the ceiling(hence the two bubbles in our ceiling)and that rats sometimes get in the walls as well.. There was nothing we could do last minute!! Every hotel wanted sky rocketing prices!!

Besides my reaerved room being given away, the mattress was disgusting (not the sheets), yoy could hear every single person/animal on the floor, and where corner was you could see the light from the next room (i checked to see if it was maybe street light from behind the curtain. The staff was polite, professional & accommodating. There were plenty of restaurants nearby & easy access to the highway. We had booked 2 rooms- 1st room the lock was broken & the bathroom door didn’t close all the way. The 2nd room- the toilet seat was broken & was covered with cigarette burns. The bathroom door had a hole in it, as if someone punched it (it didn’t go all the way through). The bed spread had multiple cigarette burns in it. The other customers were very very loud…slamming doors, walking up & down the hallway screaming “wake up” or just running (loudly) up & down the hallways with their barking dogs.

**Absolutely Disgusting and Unsafe – Worst Experience Ever**

I don’t normally leave reviews, but my recent experience at the Motel 6 in Harvey was so appalling that I feel obligated to warn others. DO NOT STAY HERE. I spent $100 on a room that I couldn’t even bring myself to sleep in — I ended up leaving in the middle of the night and driving all the way home instead.

From the moment I walked in, the place felt unsafe and completely neglected. The hallway reeked of urine, like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It was nauseating and set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most disgusting places I’ve ever stepped foot in.

When I got to the room, things only got worse. The bed — which should be the bare minimum for cleanliness — had a TOENAIL in it. Not a small one, either. It was clear the linens hadn’t been changed. To top it off, I also found a *bug* crawling around IN MY BED and a dead one. That was the last straw.

Between the stench, the filth, and the general feeling of being unsafe, there was absolutely no way I was going to stay there. I paid $100 to walk into a nightmare and turn around.

Do yourself a favor — avoid this place at all costs. No one should have to deal with this kind of environment, especially when you're paying for a place to rest. Motel 6 should be ashamed to have their name attached to this location.

The only thing I would like to say is that I just left there as of today they do not give you a grace period to get your things together so check out is at 11. Please don’t check out at 11:15 11:20. Staff is really ghetto. They are trying to pull it together but management needs to be retrained will act like they’re your friend whole time. They are money hungry and want to know your business. World literally threatening to call police on you even if you’re not posing a threat.

When we went inside the staff seemed okay but there was a foul odor. We went up to our room and when we went in first the bathroom door was stuck in the wall.. you could not close it. Within the first 5 minutes a roach went flying across the floor by the time we got all our stuff back out the door ten more were in plain sight. We left and didn’t stay!! Such a shame this place is on a site I trusted. Never again!!

The dog hotel

The entire hotel smells like a dog kennel. The front desk attendant was nice. The manager not so much. She just makes excuses. There are so many guest with dogs and vicious dogs. I was told by a guest to wait before I exited because of his dogs would attack. Barking all night I left and found other accomodations. The toilet did not work. The towels were dingy. I don't know how this is a Motel 6 do not stay here sleeping in your vehicle would be better.

Better off sleeping in your car

There was piss all over the toliet and the seat. And every time you flushed the toliet it leaked. The sheets on one beds had orange an green stains. Not to mention they have a stand/shelf in the room that is just balancing itself with the one leg an almost hurt myself when it almost fell over. The hallways were gross never being cleaned or vacuumed. The elevator is disgusting. The entire night was spent listening to the LOUD dog across the hall barking. A man even tried selling us drugs in the parking lot.
