Very close to a t-bana station which takes less than a ten minute journey to the City centre or roughly a thirty minute walk. A great supermarket next door and other shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel with meals and in a good location

The hotel is in a very residential type setting so was quiet but still only a 20 minute walk to get downtown by the Royal palace. We enjoyed the meals that come with the room so we didn't have to go find a restaurant.

As a solo traveller I especially enjoyed the included evening meal buffet. Breakfast also very good - only suggestion there is to increase quantities of ‘normal’ black teas (English Breakfast and Earl Grey) put out and remove some of the fruit type tea bags that fewer people seem to go for.
Although not in the centre, hotel has very good bus and underground connections a short walk away and it’s in a quiet neighbourhood. My room didn’t blow me away with its decor, and TV had only terrestrial channels, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well, which is the most important thing. At the rate I paid, I think it was a bargain.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely and spacious, the bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was a good size with plenty of toiletries and shower was lovely. Only drawback was the room was very very hot even with the window open it was warm and unable to reduce the temperature on the radiators enough which made it difficult to layer up for the cold outside when it was so hot in there. But better to be hot than cold especially when it’s minus temperatures outside!
The bar area was fairly small for the size of the hotel but very comfortable and chilled. The staff were very polite and helpful with a great sense of humour.
Fika time was a nice touch and we enjoyed this if we happened to be at the hotel at the right time, The light evening meal was alittle hit and miss and some of the options were not very warm but there was something always available if you wanted it. We also managed to find plenty of lovely restaurants in the area and the underground train station was only a 5 minute walk and a direct train right to the centre. Perfect!! I would recommend and stay again!

This is a good value budget hotel in a quiet residential area. The standard room is very small with a sliding door into the shower room. Shower pressure was good.
Cleaning only done with 24 hours notice and was only a change of towels, bin emptied and bed made.
Breakfast was great although not the coffee.
Evening meal was included which was a great saving. Menu is published for the week. Soup. One hot main dish plus a couple of salads, bread, crispbread and hummus. All tasty. Deserts could be purchased.
Afternoon cake was good too and included.
Staff were friendly and helpful but reception staff operated the bar which caused delays getting served when people were checking in or out.
5 mins walk to metro.

The only opportunity was the steam room and sauna were not working during several days of our stay. Shout out to George at the front desk who was always very responsive to our requests. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice quiet residential location, and walkable to the city centre. It was about a mile to the waterfront which we walked everyday but there’s also a metro station very nearby if you didn’t want to walk.

The room was very spacious, and the included evening meal was delicious on all the days we stayed. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

Reservation was done for the two separate beads . If it wasn’t bad enough that the room wasn’t ready at the check in time 3 pm , front desk gave us a room with one kings size bed. We drugged all the suitcases to the room then had to come back to the front desk to the report the matter . Wait another 40 min to get another room. After coming upstairs to the second room we got the same king size bed but made out of 2 mattresses .went downstairs again . The front desk manager informed us that that is only option they have . On the top of the this disappointment he was pretty rude.

Hotel Tapto was a nice hotel to stay at. It was in a convenient location and close to the subway. My room was clean and spacious. The price was reasonable and the breakfast was good. Okay hotel with very friendly staff both at the reception and restaurant. The downside was the housekeeping which was offered only every 7th day, so if you are staying for more than 7 days be prepared to find your room covered by dust after a few days. The hotel claims that they are doing it because of their \"green initiative\" but in my room the water was dripping from the shower all the time, which was more environmentally unfriendly than cleaning the room more often.

The room was very comfortable with a nice sitting area. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast and the light dinner were ample and tasty. It was more like a full buffet dinner and came with the room. The exercise facility was nice and the two saunas looked and smelled great but I didn’t have time to use them. The Stadion tunnelbana is a short walk. Or one can just walk down to City and discover hidden gems of beautiful Stockholm. I do suggest the hotel put facial tissues in the room.

Didn’t get a very nice room. Black marks all over the door and wall. Like someone had black shoes on and kicked the wall. The soap was almost finished and the bed felt springy. But sometimes u just get unlucky.

Before arriving at the hotel I had a number of questions which I required answering before my arrival, the communication and response was quick and accurate; with the staff addressing all my concerns. There was 11 members of my family travelling together, we stayed in multiple rooms and arrived on different days, the hotel staff made sure our stay was comfortable, and all our specific needs were addressed prior to arrival. Additionally it was great to have breakfast, afternoon sweets and dinner given at no extra cost as part of the booking. The food was typically Swedish, brilliantly presented and always fresh.

When visiting Stockholm I would certainly use Clarion Collection Hotel Tapo again.

I was really pleased with this hotel. The room was very comfortable and rightly proportioned -- neither too big nor too small. It was extremely quiet. Service was great and the included dinner a really nice touch when one arrives after a transantlantic flight and doesn't want to go explore the city that first night. The dining room was large and could accommodate even the large late Sat morning crowd. The hotel is positioned just outside the center, but close enough if you want to go sightseeing that you can still walk, or otherwise there's the Stadion T (subway) stop 5' walk away. It was perfectly positioned for my conference at KTH as well, a 15' walk away. I really cannot think of anything negative about my stay. Thank you!

A lovely place to stay in the city.

The staff at the Tapto is great! My only complaint is that the dining experience is disrupted each time kitchen staff enter and exit the kitchen, as the foot button is kicked each time and makes an awful noise.

The breakfast chef is wonderful! I saw her give two guests vegan smoothies after they were told by wait staff that smoothies weren't available that day.

Great location, average food — nice that they offer breakfast and lunch included, but it’s pretty much cafeteria quality, not matching price you’re paying — more than $400 Cdn per night for us. Typical Swedish minimalist approach to staff means you can check in and stay without ever talking to a staff member. Had trouble getting bath robes when cleaning staff forgot to leave them in the room. Minor thing, sure, but not what you expect in a better hotel. This is a good functional hotel, nothing more.
