This Inn is within walking distance to a mini mall where you can get coffee, breakfast and other choices of food. I found the room to be clean, warm and the bathroom was spacious. The staff provided clean towels and face cloths everyday. I feel that they could provide better pillows as they were small and not very comfortable at all. The neighborhood felt very safe and there is plenty of free parking. Overall, for the money, I would stay here again.

My check in was 2pm and i got to the hotel at about 2:40pm and the room was not ready. The room it very dirty and smelly with lots of hair. Even the entrance to the room was very dirty. When I tried to speak with one on the staff, she said she did not understand English. After they finished so called cleaning the room, i went back inside, and it smelled like smoke and musky. I had to take my things and go back to the front desk and ask them to give me another room.

The front desk showed me another room on the flat which was not bad. This is the room that they display on the page. I was only staying for 2 night and it was late tto go elsewhere so i stayed.

It has been 4 days now since i visited and i am yet to get my reciept in my email as i
I was promised that i would get before I leave the hotel on Sunday.

I will never go back or introduce anyone to this place.

Btw: The view of the Marina was lovely

The pictures do not accurately display the current condition of the property. The gentleman who helped us check in was very nice, but once we arrived in our room the neglect was very noticeable. The surfaces were sticky, the bathroom walls had not been cleaned in a long time, and there was left behind hair in all the corners of the bathroom. The calking was badly yellowing and everything had heavy calcium build up on it. Essentially, the property could use a good scrubbing.

The room I was given was not clean, the bed was not laid and had a bad smell. My room was eventually changed but everything in the new room had rust or was not neat. The whole environment had some smell, the shower took about 20 minutes to drain. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Not worth the price or experience.

This is a nice and conviniently located hotel. It was clean and staff was friendly. We did not use the restaurant. The bed was firm. Pillows were short and thick, making them somewhat uncomfortable. Parking was plentyful. Our main complain was that outside lights get into the room at night and disturb when trying to sleep (photo attached). The shower was very spacious and had one of those shower head that deliver a cascade of water (very nice), but the bathroom door could not be closed.

You can tell someone is trying to bring this old motel back to life. It was clean and there were some newer features in the room, the douvet needed a cover, but everything was clean. In my room, the door bolt didnt work. It was there and functioned, but the part in the door jam didnt have a hole for the bolt. The little flip lock was also broken in my room, one good push and it was coming off. The lack of safety on the door didnt help me feel super safe. The parking lot was clean and well lit, as were the hallways to the rooms. If the security of the room it self was fixed the rating would be higher.

The pics are deceiving. It’s not on a Marina. You get views of the parking lot on both sides. The extra pillows we got had food and hair on them. There was visible dirt and on the floors and surfaces. The furniture was old and worn. Light fixtures had rust on them. Overall it just felt gross. The proximity to the concert we were attending was worth it but I would not stay here again. There is a reason it’s significantly cheaper than the other hotels in the area.

The hotel was so close to being great, stayed here to attend Ryder Cup - few things needed attention. Only provided 3 pillows and 1 blanket - would of loved some extras. Shower door was a bit rickety - easy fix, the shower handle was missing but still able to use- it again easy fix. Facilities were clean, they replaced carpet with nice vinyl, lots of storage, easy parking, nice mattress and clean bedding. would definitely stay again

Motel is in tough shape and did not look like the pictures. We felt very unsafe. The lobby staff wait behind bullet proof glass. The room doors barely lock with worn frames and could easily be knocked in. There was also no smoke alarm in our room. After paying for a room, we felt too unsafe and did not stay. Ended up paying for another room at a different hotel.

The place is in the worst part of Freeport. Front desk is behind bulletproof glass and they make you sign a waiver that they are not responsible if you get robbed.

My room had no deadbolt, hair in the bed, and no number on the door. I forgot my key in my room and when I went to the front desk, the guy (who had never seen me before) gave it to me without asking for ID or anything.

Absolute slum, more like a pay by the hour motel than an actual nice place to stay. Looks nothing like the pictures, customers beware!

When we first pulled in the outside looks NOTHING like the pictures so we were skeptical. The inside of the room did match the pictures and was clean. We were attending a concert so we only stayed 2 nights. That's exactly what this hotel is good for, 1 or 2 nights. I was also disappointed that the restaurant was closed and when I say closed I mean abandoned. It looks like it hasn't been touched in years!! They never came to clean our room after the 1st night so we had to ask for more towels and the front desk was accommodating. I honestly don't know if I would stay here again.

A motel without sheets

As i climbed into bed the first night i had difficulty slipping between the sheets. Rather than sheets, there was an empty duvet cover between the matress cover and a bedspread which serves as a lightweight blanket. I slept between the duvet cover and the bedspread.

The next day, I complained to the front desk clerk, who didn't seem surprised, but promptly dispatched the housekeeper, who stripped the bed and replaced one duvet cover with two duvet covers, so that i would have top & bottom sheet-equivalents. She made two trips to her linen supply, however, as one of the \"fresh\" duvet covers that she initially grabbed was either dirty or stained. (I didn't get a close look.)

When i asked the housekeeper whether they had sheets, she said \"no\", because their patrons throw them away so management doesn't buy new ones. She mentioned that the patrons were \"black people\", apparently to explain their bizarre behavior.

Evidently they do have security problems as there's a cage over the smoke detector.

On the bright side, I liked the modern shower and stylish bathroom sink, the room was very clean and, otherwise, in good condition and generally quiet.

Were it not for the matters mentioned in my first three paragraphs, i would have called this a decent 2* motel and might have stayed there again. I don't see how, with a straight face, anyone would call this a 3* hotel.

I know this sounds unbelievable. So, I made sure to take photos.

It is not nice and it doesn’t feel particularly safe. When you walk into the lobby, the front desk is protected by bulletproof glass. There were people sitting outside their rooms on lawn chairs watching me as I made my way to my room. The room was not clean or comfortable. Mattress was an old spring mattress, very hard. I immediately booked another room at a different hotel and left. Don’t let the pictures fool you - this place is not charming or nice or comfortable.

My stay at the Freeport Inn and Marina was my worst hotel stay by far. I killed a roach, was bitten by mosquitoes, the room had a strange odor, guests were smoking weed openly, and the bathroom mirror area was too dark to see your own face, much less do makeup. The Expedia photos are doctored and the inn in reality is not as lovely and polished as the photos shown online. I asked a front desk person upon check out to have a manager call me to discuss needed changes. No one called.

After returning home, I made a second request to another front desk person at the inn to have a manager call me, and as of today, five days after my stay, no one has called. Terrible is the best way to describe my experience! I would never stay there again!

To be fair and objective, I should add: the television worked, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom itself had a nice design.

Was charged extra money for staying there, when I asked to sweep up hair that was blonde from around the toilet and in the bathroom area. And that was for incidental's that may occur. Made up my own bed before leaving and it was the same way that I made it when I came back. I was also locked out of my room when trying to get ready for a service.

The hotel is old and it looks like it’s not being maintained. The curtains were ripped. The bed had 2 small pillows that’s not comfortable for sleeping and no blankets. There was a thin cover without a sheet underneath. Lifting up the flimsy sheet from the bed will put you on the mattress itself, so had to cover with the thin cover that was on the bed. Everything is old and rusty, light fixtures, pipe at the sick looked dirty. It’s in a decent location, but definitely not walking distance from the strip. Will not stay there again.

The room was decent. It reminded me of staying at my granfathers house as a kid. The water pressure was good.
I don't care for the out dated listing on Hotels.com. The resturant is closed...looks like for a while now. The only access to the water seems to have been through the resturant. Two factors that had gotten me to book here. It was disappointing

My stay was overall good! But I had a problem. Their communication is bad because the lady at the front desk gave me a room key and when I got there the door was unlocked so I proceeded to open the door and there was a gentleman completely naked, I closed the door and went back to the front desk then she found out that the person who was in the room paid extra in the morning so he could leave late that day. She was really nice and apologized for the incident but their communication needs to be improved.
